Astrid stood backstage, thinking over the next match she had been scheduled for. This one was a little different from what she was used to - she had done battle with middleweights before, but a lightweight was a different story. She couldn't imagine that such a foe would be the best match to her sheer strength and physical prowess, but she wasn't going to rule out a competitive bout just yet. Her opponent might well have the agility and technique to make up for her size, and she would be remiss to write off what a lighter wrestler could achieve with their distinct style. In fact, the opportunity to put such disparate techniques to the test was enticing to Astrid. This was more than a contest of strength, but a competition of two distinct disciplines, one that would prove which would come out on top. She couldn't wait.

"Coming first to the ring, from Stavanger, Norway! At 6'1 and weighing 188 pounds, ASTRID OSTBERG!"

Astrid held her hands up at her sides, urging on a cheer from the fans gathered to either side of her as lights blared behind her to illuminate her entrance. The Norsewoman proceeded to the ring and hopped inside, running the ropes to her side of the ring before looking back at the entrance. "So this new challenger thinks she can best me?" Astrid announced. "See to it! I'm eager to see if she can!"

Back in the ring, Astrid had been playing to the crowd, striking a few poses in a display of her strength as her smile spread wide over her face. But her attention would soon be diverted, as Cana stepped in. The Norwegian slowly turned his head towards Cana, raising an eyebrow curiously in her direction. "Oh? What's this?" she said. She had to chuckle a little when she heard Cana's attempt at a taunt, clearly not too impressed by it. Shooting back at Cana, Astrid held up her arm, flexing a muscle to compare her strength and physique to her opponent's own.

"You call this fat?" Astrid said. "I have the edge in size, girl, but it comes from raw strength. This look isn't just for show. I just hope you can bring up the strength to match it."

*DING DING DING*

With their words exchanged, Astrid lowered into a stance, staring down Cana. She raised her fists, stepping closer to offer a lockup.
