Themis is very gifted athletically, her toned and tall body packing both amazing power and amazing speed, with flexibility and endurance, and her experience in wrestling also gives her quite a bit of knowledge on how to take or slam someone and keep them down.

Preferred Match Types:
Standard, Submission, Ironwoman. Open to more.

Strengths:
  • Strength: Diana is very strong, easily able to lift most competitors or outmuscle them if need be. Such strength can be used for power moves, her submissions, grappling leverage, and more.
  • Will: Themis wrestles for the thrill, and she won’t easily let go or lose a match when things are getting heavy, wanting to push herself to become better, meaning she’ll rarely tap out and will need to be knocked out to be pinned.
  • Endurance: Themis isn’t just strong, she is also very durable, able to tank hard blows and devastating moves, and get back up to keep fighting. Finishers can still put her down, but one will have to work hard to hit theirs on her, and there’s still the chance she may get her shoulder up just in time.
  • Grappling: Since Themis trained most of her teenage years and early adulthood wrestling, her grappling skills are very honed, and in combination with her size and strength, she can easily get atop someone and allow no escape.
Weaknesses:
  • Restraint: Generally, Themis doesn’t like to go all out against someone until she’s sure they can take it. And she’ll also refuse to take advantage of any injured opponent, which could lead to someone deceiving her into opening herself up.
  • Experience: While Themis is quite experienced and skilled in wrestling, professional wrestling is something she lacks definitive and deep experience in, and thus certain techniques and styles exclusive to the ring such as high fliers or cheating heels could throw her off.

Personality:
Themis is known as a very kind and gentle woman. One who always has an ear open to other’s struggles and is gifted at offering advice or comfort for those who need it. She’s developed a deep sense of sisterhood due to her upbringing and thus welcomes all women in need, though she will just as well offer kindness to men in need.

Themis is a woman of peace, and thus outside of the sport of combat, she is not a fan of fighting. She will restrain from throwing any punches or engaging in violence unless all other options are exhausted, and is seen as being a pushover because of this.

However, do not mistake her restraint for weakness. Themis is a very capable woman who can even be prone to falling into her anger at times; this is something she avoids at great costs however, much preferring to extend a hand rather than throwing one, even to those who act in bad faith with her or those who try to sneak one over on her. But, she will show you the error of your ways if you do try to abuse this fact about her.

And while she is kind, Themis can also be quite competitive, which is why she has chosen to pursue wrestling in spite of her success as a public speaker. She loves to compete and the thrill of battle, engaging in it when she can, though she never tries to take things too far and leave anyone injured.

History:
Born to a single mother as a single child, Diana Prince grew up never knowing who her father was, and never really wanting to. Quite quickly however, it turned out that Diana was a very skilled child, both gifted physically and mentally. By grade school, she was able to show out in both tests and homework, as well as physical activity such as football and some basketball. Growing older, she showed her process in water polo, weightlifting, even the high jump.

What really excited her however was wrestling. Both in the competitive aspect of it and the companionship it brought, bonding with her classmates who partook like the sisters she never had. By her later teenage years, it was becoming clear Diana was a special athlete. But not just that, but also quite the intelligent one.

Studying constantly when she wasn’t doing sports, she grew interested in history, specifically Greek history, as well as looking into feminist literature and the politics of the world. As much as Diana grew to love her life, she knew others couldn’t say the same, and as her public image rose with her athletic traits, she used that to begin speaking out for world peace, an end to childhood hunger, pledges to help reduce climate change, amongst many other issues.

Coming into adulthood, Diana managed to earn her way onto the Greek Olympics wrestling team, where she secured them the gold medal. But as much as she enjoyed it, she knew her time was better allocated elsewhere.

Diana founded the Kyra Foundation, a charity named after her mother and set up to try and put an end to child hunger. She used this foundation and her fame from winning her gold medal to travel the world, meeting political figures, doing public speeches on behalf of other charities, and pitching in where she can to help others in need.

Including one time, where she was caught during a robbery, and yet managed to talk down the robber into surrendering, news articles dubbing her a “wonder woman” for the feat and eventually being named a goodwill ambassador for Greece.

Yet, not all of Diana’s exploits are merely for charity. On occasion, she does do some wrestling, be it with her sisters from school, fellow grapplers at the gym, or even finding local pro wrestling shows or some underground fights. This caught wind of LAW officials, who offered Diana a special contract, worked to fit into her busy schedule, one she accepted. It was there she decided to adopt the ring name of “Themis” and using “Wonder Woman” as a nickname, to separate her philanthropist self from her wrestling one, and capitalize some on those who dub her a “Greek goddess”.

Facts:
  • Themis’s favorite animals are kangaroos.
