Yin Vs ???
"You haven't been able to confirm tonight's opponent?"
"Not for a lack of trying." Cao could only shrug at Yin's disappointed tone. "I had all of my sources and informants look into ascertaining their identity. But they weren't able to find anything concrete." The man pushed his glasses up along the bridge of his nose with his fingers. "But even if we must send you into the ring without being adequately prepared, that surely won't be a problem for you tonight, will it Yin? Naturally people will wish to challenge you now, since your victory over Lloyd sent a strong message to the wrestling world. In fact, I would almost suspect that you rather enjoyed locking lips with that naive detective-"
Yin's hand flew to the Heiyue executive's throat, lifting and pinning him against the wall. Cao did not react, and with the demoness being masked, it was difficult to discern her expression. But the spectacled man could tell that her eyes were no doubt filled with fury.
"I'd advise you to refrain from speaking such nonsense, White Orchid Dragon." He felt her fingers dig into his throat.
"Now, now." Cao reasoned, still maintaining his composure. "A simple barb in jest. But I'd advise you that if anything were to happen to me, the entirety of Heiyue would be pursuing you for the rest of your life. And I think you can agree it would be a very short one were that to happen. So let's put me down now, shall we?"
Yin was silent, as if contemplating whether it was worth it. But then, she lowered Cao back onto his feet and released him. Then, she turned on her heel, heading out of the dressing room without another word. The purple haired man adjusted his collar with a triumphant smile.
The female strode to the ring, the image of Lloyd's face as she sensually made out with him following their match sticking with her like a persistent memory. Most had complimented her on a job well done, which she was paid to do. She often didn't think of her defeated targets ever again. They were obstacles to her, nothing more. So why couldn't she get Lloyd Bannings out of her head? Was it his earnest nature? His attempt to peer past her mask to peek at the real her?
...How ridiculous. This is her. The one and only Yin. There is no one else. Whichever sorry soul had been lined up for her for this match would be victim to the girl venting her frustrations by beating the hell out of them. Some rage work would help her forget about that detective. Besides, Yin had no doubt taught him an important lesson in defeat. He would never win against an opponent like her, not while he shackled himself to law and order. Perhaps he would abandon any notion of trying to continue to be a wrestler and stick to a safe desk job where he could spend the rest of his days.
The masked female emerged onto the entrance ramp, to a mixed chorus of cheers and disdain. It seems some held a grudge for her antics in her previous match. She paid them little mind, walking down the entrance ramp to the ring with a hand on her hip. Cameras flashed to capture her curves and chest. Fans held out their hands for her to slap, but she ignored every one of them. Yin was not here to acknowledge the crowd. To her, they didn't exist. In the ring, it was just her and the opponent unlucky enough to be facing the demoness.
Reaching the ring apron, Yin took the bottom rope and pulled herself up to the side. Taking the top cable in both hands, she vaulted herself into the ring. Not as flashy as her first entrance, but that had been about making a statement. Sending a message. There was no need for such theatrics this time. And so, the masked beauty moved to the nearby corner, the referee approaching her to begin his inspection as Heiyue's pawn cast her attention to the entrance ramp, watching with only vague interest to see who her mystery opponent was...
