"Well I suppose if she's asking to get her ass kicked, by all means."
Nadia wasn't the kind to hold back- as bluntly as she put it, she shrugged at the underground fight promoter who proposed the match with Natsuko; a younger rookie who was looking to try something more... gritty. The typical LAW arena certainly had a vibe about it- although that vibe usually meant a stronger focus on provocative wrestling acts rather than something that Nadia considered more true to what a proper fight should resemble. So whenever the opportunity to fight in LAW's more underground environments presented itself... well, she would take whatever she could get; Even if it was a...

"Oh give me a break. The skirt and everything, huh? Well if she fancies herself a fighter, lets hope she can actually prove it in the ring."

*DING DING DING!*
"THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SENT FOR ONE FALL- PIN OR SUBMISSION! ENTERING THE UNDERGROUND FIRST... NADIAAAA CARTER!!!"

The pageantry, smoke, fireworks and screens of the typical LAW arena were a distant feeling to anyone in the brick laid building. Dim lights hung overhead and a faint sound system played Nadia on as she stepped through a basic curtain to the cheers of the ravenous audience. The stone floor beneath her was cold and unforgiving- small pebbles and jagged imperfections stabbed at her wrapped feet. Perfect.

Nadia exuded a confidence when in this kind of setting like no other- despite the provocative concessions she made to her appearance, she was first and foremost a fighter. Not having to deal with the sort of barbie dolls that would ever even think about stepping foot in a place like this put her mind at ease as she climbed through the ropes and bounced on the unkempt ring. She looked down and stamped her foot twice in the ring; yep- a loose board right underneath there; no doubt would hurt like a motherfucker to fall down anywhere in this ring.

She closed her eyes and cracked her neck from side to side- the hollers and easily heard cheers of the audience not dissuading her one bit. She could drown them out- they were just here to provide income for her to do what she does best; whatever they felt about her assets... that was their problem. The most important thing of the whole night would be her focus- she researched what she could about her opponent and knew what kind of fire to bring. Just picturing the strikes and submissions she could pick her apart with... well it brought a hidden smile to the fighters face as she began pacing the ring- waiting hungrily for her prey to step through the curtain and into her domain.

*Sheesh...I know this is an underground arena and all, but you'd think they'd at least attempt to not play into the stereotypes...* Natsu pondered as she continued tying the laces of her Converse All-Stars sneakers, foot situated against the bench of the locker-room she scanned with judgmental inquisitiveness. Spying the fissured cracks in the wall. Several shattered mirrors. Flickered fluorescent lighting. Muck and grime coated sinks. Overheard arguments about money echoing down the hallway. And what Natsu was almost certain was a rat scurrying into the distant shadows. Whoever said the world of professional wrestling was a road paved with glamorous prestige and luxurious accommodations probably never had to deal with fight promoters asking who their next of kin was. Still, Nattie knew what she was signing herself up for by asserting her insistence towards delving into sordid underground arenas, especially after experiencing the harsh reality of what a next level fighter was capable of in her last match. It was venues like these where she was certain that the cutthroat competition could hone her own fighting style like a blade on a whetting stone...or she'd wind up waking up in the infirmary of whatever back alley doctor this place employs. Nattie bristled at the mere thought on her walking stride towards the black curtain down the hallway...

NOW ENTERING THE ARENA...HER OPPONENT...NATSUKO...ARISAWAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Natsu remained steadfast behind the curtain with some limbered hops on the tips of her feet and soothing breaths taken as she waited for her introduction. The signal to march through the curtain to what could only be ascertained as her theme song playing on an ancient stereo system. Natsu stepping out with a dramatic flourish and decked out in her high school seifuku comprised of her naval blue skirt, white top, sparring gloves, and bright red bloomers. Rallied adulation being overheard from an audience either appreciating Natsu's plucky spirit or showcasing a vehement eagerness to witness just what happens once Nadia sinks her teeth into the blooming brawler. Nattie exuding a youthful cheerfulness and joyful exuberance through her bright smile that shimmered in blaring contrast to the foreboding lion’s den she was traipsing straight into. A skipping stretch of jogging taking her down the ramp with a billowing flutter to her white headband until she reached the unkempt ring. The jubilant schoolgirl vaulting herself over the top rope but quirking an eyebrow once stepping onto the loose floorboard of the ring. Shrugging her shoulders on her way towards strolling to the center of the ring. "Syooo, I'm just gonna guesstimate that you're not gonna wanna be BFF's after this. But hey, I wouldn't mind if ya wanted to~..." A respectful handshake offered in conjunction with a warm smile.

"holyfuckingshit..."
Nadia sighed loudly. She almost deflated from her readied fighting pose as her... 'opponent' entered the ring. She closed her eyes and rubbed her temple- honest to fuck; whoever gets these people around here just doesn't have a single clue, do they? She was already unbearable and that was before she opened her mouth- "BFF's"? Like; this has to be some elabarote joke at this point. This whole company had to be in fact.

"Alright sweetie- let me make this crystal fucking clear. This is a fight; not some stupid bullshit theatrical performance for you to hop, skip and leap around in. Show me some fucking grit or just lay the fuck down now so I can save both of us a embarrassing night."

Natsuko's outstretched hand remained outstretched; Nadia stared at it with her arms crossed and a clear scowl behind her mask. Her taped foot tapped impatinetly on the dirty ring canvas before eventually deciding to make the message a little more clear.

THAP!!!
Nadia would suddenly balance on her left foot and send the other flying towards Natsuko's hand if it remained out- looking to kick it painfully before the bell even rang! Nadia was here for one thing and one thing only- pain. Not friendship.
