Amyra smiled brightly to herself as she prepared for her upcoming match backstage. Up to now she had largely been put in matches that had her against someone way above her skill level and thus saw her all but squashed. However that being said she didn't mind, it was experience all the same and Amyra was always down for experience. Tonight however she was finally being pitted against someone on her level in the form of fellow young lioness Tess Jones.
Frankly Amyra didn't know much about her, only seeing her in passing at the lioness training facility and not sharing many classes with her. But that didn't matter much to her, tonight she'd be doing her best to beat the woman with everything she had in her. Nodding to herself and doing one final check of her gear at once Amyra would turn and head out of the locker room, making her way to the entrance ramp where her entrance music would begin to play.
Well it was generous to call it 'her' music since it was pretty much just a generic pop theme assigned to her since she hadn't found one she liked yet. Whatever the case however as soon as she came out Amyra got a pretty decent round of applause from the fans, her previous matches despite being losses being gutsy enough to earn the fans favor. Plus the fact that she looked pretty dang cute in her black and red gear probably helped a bit.
