Last Public Service Announcement:

Hey, how's it going? Hope you're having a wonderful day wherever you are in the world. Some of you may know me as XXVV, others may know me as Vii, but most probably know me as
"That guy who owns E'isa, you know, The Best Wrestler/Performer to ever step foot in this establishment/forum, and never get a chance to show it.
I'm posting this as a final farewell to this page. It was long overdue; I had been in and out. Due to irl complications and slumps in motivation. Some self-inflicted, some law-related, I can go on, and on, I had my own issues, like most. I openly admit that, but it pales in comparison to the issues with this site and the community as a whole.

It starts with me joining Law in the Summer of 2024, fresh off making my 2nd wrestling OC and third OC in total at the time. In none other than E'isa "The Endless X" a character who was created by my love of not only wrestling, but also my desire to have a proud, strong Hispanic representative in a wrestling community where they were almost nonexistent. That was the goal at least. I would wander around trying to find potential people to work with, as my first encounter with OC wrestling was through browsing on Deviantart. No clue Law was even a thing.

I would come to Law that summer, excited and optimistic at first. But not only would my experience/interactions, or lack thereof, lead me to almost give up right away. It would make me wonder why I tried in the first place. From being confused by the online format in which Law was designed, to reaching out to people/users whom I had actually seen on DA. The unique, innovative, larger-than-life OCs who had me excited to join in the first place. Yet, not only would their response be a flat-out no without explanation, but some would flat-out ignore my existence. Leaving me one foot out the door, before I would even get a chance to start my first match.

What would prevent an almost immediate exit would be a few users who actually made me feel like I was welcome. With one of the most important ones early on being CaptainL. Who would not only help me understand how to navigate the page, but also gave me one of my first actual wrestling rps. Which was big.. Because early on.. I was complete shit, lmao I kid you not. If you go to my first post, and see how I write now. It's basically two different people, and I appreciate him for not only being open to how much of a novice I was. Like I'm talking level 1, no skills, no badges, complete ass, but I can’t stress enough how much it meant for him to take a chance, and do that match with me. It means a lot.. Can't thank him enough..

Following the start of my first match/rp on the page. I would meet a couple more users who would welcome me instead of giving me a cold shoulder. Users like Tick-Tock (Audacity), Lycanstar, Aeri, Someone else I cannot name, or elect not to due to personal reasons, and BG (Who I will have more to speak about later). After such a rocky start, I would meet them, along with others, and actually start to enjoy my time there. It started to feel like I could actually write fun, engaging stories for not only E'isa, but also other OCs I wanted to bring to Law. So where would it go wrong? A lot of places.. Lemme explain..

So, as the summer came to a close, E'isa would go through a revamp. I would meet a talented artist who would end up drawing E'isa in their style, which ended up coming out beautifully. I loved it so much that it became the main look she carries to this day. The look would not only get a lot of attention, but a lot of unwanted attention. With many people wanting to overly sexualize the character. Which early on, I didn't actually mind.

Keep in mind, my first experience with OC wrestling was DA and Law. So in my mind, it was just what everyone did. It was part of it, and wanting to continue having fun. I would accept what came with it. Until I began to meet people who actually enjoyed wrestling and telling stories. Which was foreign to me at the time, as I thought most people just wanted to goon/sexualize everything. It was an eye-opener..

As the months went on, I would begin to move away from the more sexualized approach. Wanting to write actual fun stories, and be creative like what I always saw on TV. What made me fall in love with wrestling in the first place. And in doing so, I would become more aware/more conscious of things that lead my original joy for writing/posting on Law to dissipate. I would begin to meet/be in contact with people who only wanted to sexualize, or had their own agendas in mind, instead of trying to push fun narratives. I would run into a lot of egos, which made me put up a bubble to protect my own feelings and desires for collaboration.
“Side Note: It’s not a knock on smut, or sexual rp as a whole, I just love wrestling way more, like actual wrestling. So the obsessive need for most people I met to make it sexual off jump ruined it, especially after realizing people actually like writing graps. I’m not even gonna go into the win-loss agenda, which I was reluctantly subjected to like 2nd hand smoke. The Mary-Sue Mentality, among other things. I could go on all day about it, but yall know what I’m talking about.”
People I met there would start off wholesome, but become needy and demanding. So much so that I would find myself in a toxic one-sided friendship. Where my feelings would be constantly ignored to accommodate the other person. I would end up becoming a trauma dump instead of a friend, leading me to finally cut off the friendship a year later, and pick up the pieces.

I would become aware of inner circles among people on the site. Which I understand is a part of most ecosystems, but on a wrestling forum? Like, are we DEADASS? LOL so many egos? DID I ALREADY BRING UP EGOS? Anyway, I would not only run into conflicts telling E'isa's story, which was also very demoralizing. But also in my first-ever attempt at joining an event. Where I would enter her in D.O.N (Double or Nothing), I would be informed that she would be losing in round 2. No biggie, though Winner3 would express how far he wanted E'isa to go. Telling me how much he liked the character and the route I was planning to go with her gimmick. But the issue would lie in the loss, but to whom he wanted E'isa to lose to in round 2. I would express my feelings about the user in question. Having heard stories about them from others, and run into issues myself.

Only for Winner3 to not be confused, or shocked by such a revelation.. But tell me he's been a problem on several occasions, but THIS TIME MIGHT BE DIFFERENT! This is a recurring theme with a lot of individuals on here! Whether it's because of the eyes they're believed to be bringing to the site, or their personal relations to certain people or crowds/inner circles. I've heard many stories from many users about leashes that are short for some and long as hell for others. Which I've seen myself being here for almost 2 years now. It's probably the reason a lot of people leave, and sugarcoat it behind some BS excuse so the bridge isn't burnt.
“Side Note: This is not a knock to Winner3; he’s not a bad guy, he’s actually a really busy guy from what I know. Smart guy, chill guy, we’ve had plenty of talks, I think he actually was interested in E’isa and her story. I also believe he loves the forum and wants it to keep growing, but I do think he carries some bias. Which is a big issue if you’re the main guy calling the shots, and trying to make the forum a safe place for everyone.”
But yeah, like I'm almost 30 bruu, I believe that some bridges burn even if you try to throw water on em. Some things are just meant to burn to the last dying ash. It's a natural part of life, but back to the topic(s) at hand. The titles.. Aww man these titles fam, lmao they always get brought up. I've heard Endless Complaints from users openly and privately about how fucked it is since joining. I gave a fuck about them around my first cycle (year) in Law. For good reason, I think most people who actually enjoy wrestling will see a cool belt, or a cool champion in general, and go "Wow, I want the chance to do a dope story around this amazing plot device, and the incredible character who holds it!

I've also heard every excuse under the sun for why people "Don't care about them" or "Don't think they matter in most storylines." Let's stop the cope and be real. Any real wrestling fan understands that usually the highest form of competitive wrestling. Any combat sport in general is the top of the card, WHERE CHAMPIONS STAND! IT'S WHY THEY'RE CALLED A (CH-AM-PIONS!) The top of the heap, the peak of the mountain. THE TIPPIE TOP WHERE CHAMPIONS STAND, AND DEFEND! So, regardless of the outcome, I was also intrigued by it; I wanted a match myself, which led me to reach out. I reach out for like 99.5 percent of the things I even have on the forum to this day! So I reach out to ask about E'isa in a potential title match. To my dismay, I would get told E'isa doesn't work, and get a pitch to face my new middleweight in a debut, you guessed it.. LOSS! LOL

I expressed that I would get back to them, which led to nothing, because why would I do that? Why would I make this badass, unique character, and then feed them to your character who doesn't need it? Quite possibly the last character on the whole page that needs a win, it made no sense, quite frankly. The ENDLESS X is right there? THE MAIN EVENT IS RIGHT THERE IN 4K DELUXE! 4K DELULU! Why can we not have a classic match? LOWJDJDUEU! I digress, I would still continue to make attempts at potential matches with a handful of others as time went on, and it felt like I was in this constant state of deja vu. To the point I stopped reaching out, because I could see where things in most conversations were headed. Which is sad, but the state of things currently. The conversations almost always started with WIN? LOSS? It's seldom. What’s the story, and do you want to try to put together something cool? Where can this lead to?
“Side Note: 99.5 percent of the time, I would be the only one who pitched ideas, it was like talking to a mirror, except sometimes the mirror nods back to confirm instead of adding anything :D
So let’s circle back to the beginning. I understand BG's banning is a sensitive topic, but I will speak on it because I have the right to. She had people who thought she was cool, silly, goofy, a troll, and people who openly and secretly disliked her. Even people who think she's a CUNT Smiley Face, but she welcomed me, when your favorites treated me like a bum, she was one of the most active members with nearly 7000 posts. She even took my spot per Winner3's request when I ended up dropping out of that tourney I spoke on earlier. Do I think she's the smartest? No.. Do I think she makes mistakes sometimes? Don't we all? Do I think she's a dumbass? Yes! I tell her that all the time, G, HAHAHAH! Now, the important question.. Do I think she should be banned? Nah bruu, you got worse people lingering around here with a leash that rivals Antarctica in length.

Yall got people who should be banned or restricted who have alts, or aren't really punished at all? Disgustingly toxic individuals, snakes, trauma dumping, borderline psychopathic, joker-level threats. Yall even have a Blackbeard here, and I won't specify what that means. But if you watch One Piece? You might understand. If you don’t?

“Blackbeard's flag features a black background with three scowling skulls and crossed bones, symbolizing his complex character and possibly his multiple personalities.”

Last kinda, but not least. Some of you guys who claim to be BG's friends gotta be some of the most spineless people I have ever met on the internet. You see your "Friend" get hit with a Hallow Purple in 4K, and act as if nothing happened. It's L9 level rat activity. Yall gotta do better as friends. Silence is powerful, but not the kind of silence yall are doing. You know who you are, no names needed lmao

I could say more, but it's so much bruu, too much. As I said at the start, this is my last PSA on here. Crazy since it’s only my second one, I went from PSA to MIA to DVD to FPSA. I know that being this open on here might get me banned, but even if it doesn't. My motivation has all but evaporated due to all the things that have slowly chipped away at the site I used to love going to every day after an 8-12 hour shift at work. I wish you all the best. Even the ones who don't deserve it, time is precious, so love those around you when you can, and always try to make people feel welcome! It goes a long way, thank you to everyone who was actually wholesome, and made my experience fun! THANK YOUUU, DANKEEEEEEE, GRACIASSS!

Take care, and stay ENDLESSLY BLESSED <3

“Side Note: I still plan to use all my characters; none are up for grabs. I will continue to write my own story, on my own terms.”

It is against my best judgement, and probably against my best interest to comment on any of this, but...

I am sorry that your experience on this site has been like this.

I am sorry that you have felt this way on your time on the site.

But my personal experiences during my time on this site are vastly different, so I feel the need to bring into attention, that your experience may not represent that of most the others on this site.

And that being a part of this site can be a much more fruitful and rewarding experience than you make it out to be.

I know we never talked, or planned anything together, but it is not because I would have had something against you, or your character. In fact, I was quite the fan of your character. In my mind (as is very common), I thought of potential pairings/pitches between your character and my roster, thinking of what could be fun to RP. But as an established RPer, I tend to always be quite full/stretching my limits on the number of threads that I'm doing already. There's so much more that you would like to do, than you actually can. And while I do tend to sometimes contact newcomers, who have seemingly not gotten threads ongoing after a few weeks after creating their character, to me it always appeared that you had gotten a good number of stories going, so I never ended up contacting you for potential ideas.

Generally, I am really happy to help new RPers get going, if they seem to have difficulty otherwise, and I like their characters. The "level of writing" is in 90% of cases not an issue. For sure, not in yours.

Knowing now how you felt back then, it's a shame that you never happened to contact me. (Not that I would have been someone to stand out in regards who to contact anyway.)

I understand that it can feel awkward for a new user to contact the more established ones. It is likely that they already have a lot going on - and that it is difficult to take up more threads anyway. Plus, I guess many users can have a variety of preferences on who/what kind of partners they would like to work with, and that not all characters or newcomers fit the bill. So, it probably often takes some tenacity to get going. I'd like to believe though, that it is rarely simply due to someone wanting to make the life of a newcomer difficult.

The part that is more difficult for me to understand is why you (apparently) thought that your character could just come in, and your character could be "the best", and your character could instantly become the "champion". ("Instantly" meaning within a year or two in those cases.)

Like, there are tens of us (active) on this site. I'd wish there were hundreds of us active on this site. And almost all of us have multiple characters on their roster. Like... How would it work at all, if every one of us would demand at least one of our characters to become a champ within a year or two's time?!?

Obviously, that doesn't work. Title storylines (usually) take years to build. Simply, due to the regular pace of RPing. They are a specialty, not a commodity. They can't be anyone's motivation to write RPs on the site.

The titles are a gimmick. They're not a purpose.

They're not a "reward". At most, a nod to someone's direction. (As an RPer, not as a character.)

This is not a real-life wrestling league. This is a wrestling RP site.

Unfortunately, I must say that all that you write about the titles does come across as very entitled.

As for the win-loss "agenda" in general, I think most of us have an idea on what kind of win-loss rate we would like to potentially have for each one of our characters. And most of us have different characters to suit different kinds of winning/jobbing efforts then.

But I can guarantee you that there are plenty of us who are not looking to have (all of) their characters winning most of the time. And those who may be, will generally be having a harder time finding RPing partners than those who don't.

What I will admit though is that personally, I am not a wrestling fan per se. But I am a fan of certain types of wrestling. Which I believe is something in common for most of us on this site.

That however does not mean that all stories would have to be sexualized. In fact, one of the main points that I'd like to make here is that there are plenty of us here on the site, who are perfectly happy with doing non-lewd wrestling matches, and a number of those who actually prefer to, or only do non-lewd matches here. That cannot be an issue. Personally, I like the vast majority of my RPs here to be non-(explicitly)-lewd - depending a lot of the character in question though, I have tailored some for more lewd matches than others.

If you've only encountered those who have wanted to do only lewd matches, or pressured you to do those (which is obviously something I think no one should do), I think you've been unlucky. (If anyone needs tips on who would be the RPers happy to do non-lewd matches, I can happily give pointers.)

When it comes to the DoN tournament, I have a couple of points to say. Firstly, I think you assumed too much, or gave up too fast. My experience is, and it was also clearly stated, that anything could happen to your character in the tournament, and you should not expect any specific outcome for your character (as is common for these tournaments). To me, that is actually one part of what makes these tournaments fun. The unpredictability.

Secondly, Winner did ask for a number of preferences regarding bookings in the tournament, based on the initial entrants listed. And you know what? I happened to list your character as one of the main ones in the question regarding which characters I'd like my character to potentially lose to. And while I obviously cannot know anything of his actual booking plans, based on how the tournament was building up, I was predicting that my character was scheduled to eventually job for yours. And I would have been really looking forward to it. Thus, I was disappointed when I noticed that you had pulled out.

In regards to Winner, I will just say that personally, I have never had anything but respectful/polite exchanges or experiences with him. I understand that apparently some may have felt differently, but I also think that as someone in his shoes, it is impossible to please everyone. You'll inevitably get called to be the judge, take sides, or enforce decisions that some people may want, at the expense of others. You'll never get it "right" in the minds of everyone.

I don't envy him at all. I relate to how busy his life is (as he has opened up on this forum too), and how little time he has to spare to deal with difficult details/nuisance on the site. And if I'm brutally honest, based on some of the "drama" that I've seen surfacing recently, I feel that people should take more responsibility over being respectful and getting along with each other themselves, and creating less problems for any admins to sort out. This is supposed to be a fun hobby, not a demanding day job, or a purpose of life for anyone. Neither the admin, nor the RPers.

As for the last third of your post, I honestly have zero idea on what exactly you're ranting there. But I also don't want to involve myself in any kind of drama, or harm my experience with RPing here by getting into some random negativity. It is really unfortunate to see some former members leaving or getting banned, as I have really enjoyed RPing with them, but ultimately, I cannot reasonably believe that there would not have been good reasons for those things to happen.

Regardless, sad to see you (or anyone else) to leave.

Best of luck!
