Trying to find information on her opponent rarely helped her calm down, either. It was a double-edged sword; on one side, by looking up how her opponent fought, she knew what to expect from them, and in theory, how to fight back. On the other side... she'd learn how her opponent fought, and some part of her still trembled at the anticipation of being subjected to the pain.
Tonight was no different. Audrey found plenty of information on her opponent - which turned out to be the silver lining of the evening; Gabriel was a woman. Given Gabriel's name and her own dubious history, the redhead had been fully expecting a man. That, however, was where the good news ended. Gabriel was a powerhouse of a fighter in her own right... in some ways, too much so. She was labeled a heel, which tracked with what information was available. Apparently, winning was more important to her than anything, including the audience. Audrey, at least, attempted to hype up the crowd; Gabriel would not be making that effort, apparently. So she would be as difficult an opponent to face as any, brutal and mean and unforgiving...
Nevertheless, when started, dutifully trotted down the ramp, signature sparkler in hand, twirling and waving to the crowd and drawing pictures in the air as she moved towards the ring. Upon arriving, she dropped the sparkler in the waiting glass of water, rolled under the bottom rope, and hopped up to sit atop the nearest corner post, crossing her legs and clutching the top ropes on either side for balance as she awaited her dance partner for the evening.
