Warming up backstage with some stretching, Jessica Miura smiled casually. On the cusp of another fight with another unknown foe. Things wouldn't be as bold this time, as Jess was booked for just a best of 3 submission match. It wasn't the smother stipulation the wild kitten usually enjoyed, but Jessica could get behind any kind of fight, really. So long as her opponent wasn't a complete wimp.

Stepping out onto the ramp, Jessica did her usual routine since the fans always loved to see her. Throwing up a big peace sign, the tomboy began making her way to the ring, dispatching high-fives and a few pictures like she always did, before climbing inside the ring. All there was left to do, was await the arrival of Lexi Sparks

A submission match? This wasn't exactly Lexi's specialty, but she would still try her best even if she wasn't that confident. After all, it was a best of 3 so as long as she could secure one fall she'd have something to be proud of.

Lexi nervously stepped out into the arena as her name was announced. But all her worries washed away as she heard someone in the crowd cheer her name. Someone believed she could win, so she had to believe too. She ran down the ramp and slid into the ring to meet her opponent.

"Hey there, name's Lexi, let's have a great match alright!"
She smiled brightly, suddenly full of confidence as she reached out her hand to her opponent.

Watching eagerly when her opponent made her appearance, Jessica had a friendly smile on her face when her flashier looking opponent appeared before her. Looking into Lexi's eyes conveyed a level of nervousness being suppressed. As Jessica accepted the handshake, she hoped that nervousness wouldn't make for a worse fight. "I'm Jessica. And yeah let's have some fun!"

Lexi smiled and backed away to the corner. Her opponent seemed nice, but she wasn't gonna let her guard down. She waited for the bell to ring and as soon as it did she would run at Jessica and try to surprise her with a dropkick to get an early advantage.

With the bell rung, typically Jessica would spring forward and go on the offensive. However, it seemed great lioness' thought alike. Before the wild kitten had the chance, she found herself blocking a dropkick from Lexi, stumbling back to the ropes. Shaking out the sensation in her hands with a wince, Jess smiled. "Bold play."

"Glad you liked it, maybe you'll like this too!" Lexi quickly got back to her feet and rushed at Jess again, extending her arm for a clothesline against the ropes to daze her opponent. She then followed it up by taking Jess' arm and sending her running across the ring, charging at her once again after she rebounds off the ropes.

As she stumbled back against the ropes, Jessica couldn't help but smirk with a narrowed gaze at Lexi. This was getting fun already. With her foe aiming for another high-risk, high-reward move, Jessica responded in-kind! Seeing that her fellow lioness was going for another clothesline, the wild kitten only found it appropriate to rush at her with the same move, hoping to see who would win out in a reckless play!

As Lexi rushed forward, she noticed her opponent began charging back at her as well. She considered getting out of the way, but there was no way she could just chicken out like that and show Jessica she was a coward. So she continued her charge, arm extended out and hoping for the best.

When the two inevitably collided, Lexi felt her arm connect with her opponent, but was too busy getting clotheslined herself to notice how effective her move had been. Lexi got knocked onto her back, her head bouncing off the mat when she fell. She rolled over quickly though, rubbing her head and looking around to see if Jessica fared much better than her.
