"Coming first to the ring, from Tokyo, Japan! Standing at 5'2 and weighing 160 pounds, the Winter Idol, YUKINO FUYUMI!"

The moment Yukino's name was called, an uproar of cheers came up from the stands. She was a fan favorite both as a wrestler and an idol, and her supporters had turned out in droves to witness her match tonight. With deft steps, she made her way down the ramp, sweeping around the sheathed sword at her side with careful precision. When she came to the ring, she slipped onto the apron and rolled under the ropes, getting to her feet and rolling her shoulders in preparation for the match ahead of her.

As her opponent, Ellie Cooper's name was called, another uproar of cheers was heard. The blonde came down the entrance ramp, before running up to the ring and jumping, grabbing the top rope to propel herself upward, landing on top of the top rope and bouncing off of it to flip into the ring, getting a good pop from the crowd. She locked eyes with Yukino, a determined look on her face.

It seemed like both women had plenty of support on their sides - and when Ellie vaulted over the ropes with a dramatic flourish, even Yukino had to be impressed; she could see why she had the following she did. Even still, she wasn't going to let it hold her back. She took in a deep breath as she got into a stance, raising her fists. "Whatever you do," she said, "I'll be ready."

Ellie could tell that Yukino was gonna be a formidable opponent, but she was still confident she'd stand victorious in the end. Readying herself mentally, she took a stance and raised her fits as well. "I'm sure I can find something you won't be ready for." She said back.

*DING DING DING*

As the bell sounded, Yukino moved in closer, taking a long stride toward Ellie to close the distance. Hoping to surprise her with a show of force, she would go to thrust a palm straight toward the blonde's sternum, as her eyes narrowed in focus.

The bell rang, and the two women met in the center of the ring. Ellie had her arms up, ready to block any strike Yukino tried to throw once she was in reach. Managing to deflect her palm strike, Ellie would counter with an open palm strike to Yukino's jaw.

It seemed as though Ellie and Yukino had similar ideas. The white-haired girl struck for Ellie with a thrust of her palm, but her opponent managed to parry before throwing back a palm strike of her own. But if Ellie thought she could keep ahead of Yukino by mirroring her moves, then Yukino would just do the same. As Ellie's thrust came closer, she would swing her hands up to try and catch her by the wrist - and then, swing a kick toward her!

Ellie's attempt at a palm strike was interrupted by Yukino grabbing her arm and swinging a kick, which struck the side of Ellie's stomach, causing her to grunt with pain and double over.

As soon as Yukino had compromised Ellie's balance, she was ready to close in with her offensive. She would pull on Ellie's arm, attempting to throw her to the mat with an arm drag! "Hah!"

As Ellie was stunned by the pain in her stomach, Yukino gave her no time to recover, pulling her arm and throwing her down with an arm drag! "Ugh!" She hit the mat with a thud, the audience cheering.
