Erika has been described by one ring announcer as a "6 foot blonde engine of destruction with the personality of a golden retriever." Both inside the ring and out, Erika is renowned for having an upbeat, positive attitude: even in the heat of a match she can often be seen smiling, and occasionally complimenting her foe-- a friendliness that is often at odds with her brutal, relentless ring tactics. Even though she will not hold back and always fight to win, Erika would still rather make a friend than an enemy: when fighting rookie wrestlers, she will quite happily give them pointers, both in and out of the ring, and if an opponent has earned her respect, then she would happily go out for drinks with them afterward. More than one opponent has remarked that Erika personifies the stereotype of Canadians being overly nice, a remark that usually gets Erika laughing.
With all of that being said, if an opponent uses underhanded tactics, or generally does anything to make Erika angry, then her rage is a terrible thing to behold. When she goes all out, Erika will still make an effort to stop short of hospitalizing her opponent...but she will also make sure they are left utterly battered, bruised, and barely conscious by the end of the match. Many opponents have tried to take advantage of Erika's polite, upbeat demeanour, only to find to their cost how much of a lioness she is when provoked.

Erika is an absolute powerhouse who will try to win through sheer, relentless offence. While she a well-trained wrestler, she usually eschews any subtlety in her move set in favour of battering and slamming her opponent as effectively as possible.

Erika is not the fastest wrestler, but she is still reasonably fast for a girl of her size. This speed can sometimes give her an edge against other heavyweight wrestlers, though sometimes she has been able to catch smaller wrestlers by surprise as well.

Erika doesn't have the greatest defence, eith her reaction time usually being too slow to dodge, duck or block incoming attacks. Usually instead, Erika relies on her sheer durability to tank blows instead, or her strength to muscle her way out of any holds her opponent puts her in.

Erika grew up in the rural Canadian town of Sudbury, Ontario, the middle child of a family of six. From an early age, she always had a fascination with pro wrestling: her dad was a massive wrestling fan who sometimes went to live matches, and would always take his kids with him. Through her dad, Erika quickly gained a love for the sport, and came to idolize not only Canadian greats like the Hart family, but also what few female wrestlers there were in the major federations as well.
As a girl, she was often teased relentlessly for her tall, even stocky build, but she soon found her calling when she joined the high school wrestling team. While the mostly-male wrestling team was initially averse to letting a girl on the team, she quickly showed that she belonged there, her build, stamina and determination leading her to win after win, pinfall after pinfall: before long her male teammates' initially mocking nickname of "LaBoy" became one of respect, as by this point they practically considered her one of them.
After high school, instead of going on to university, Erika instead decided to follow her dreams and signed up for a wrestling academy. As she matured, she grew into a powerful young woman, her height and build increasing dramatically, and before long she had signed up in a few indy federations, quickly gaining a reputation as a powerful juggernaut of a woman who nonetheless fought fairly.
After going through multiple federations and gaining both a solid reputation and a significant online following, Erika made a move to Japan. She had heard a lot about the skill of Japanese wrestlers, and wanted to see what the Japanese wrestling scene was like. And so she signed up with LAW, eager and excited to see if there was anyone on this new fed who could give her a good fight.
▌ Trivia
-Erika was raised to venerate the greats of Canadian wrestling-- the Hart family, Chris Benoit, etc. Beyond that, she also idolized a great many female wrestlers growing up: Candace LeRae, Sarah Stock, and of course, Chyna.
-Erika realized that she liked girls in the middle of high school; even so, she never really took the opportunity to explore her sexuality until she started up on the wrestling circuit. She has had a string of girlfriends, though she has never been able to stay in place long enough to settle down with anyone.
-Erika grew up in a small town in the rural regions of Ontario. As such, going to a massive city like Tokyo or Kyoto has been a massive shock to her; she is still getting used to things like the huge skyscrapers or the massive number of people.
-Erika is one-sixth Ojibwe on her mother's side, which is one of the possible explanations for her huge size.
-Despite her Francophone last name, Erika is passingly bilingual, in that she knows a smattering of French, but not enough to hold a long conversation. Her Japanese, sadly, is no better.
