L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

For most well-adjusted people, the summer months are great for hitting the beach, working on a tan, enjoying long days and a lazier atmosphere. The sun is out, the weather is warm, and everyone just seems kind of in an overall good mood. But for high profile people in the public spotlight, or more particular, one Punk Princess, the summer months have made for an excellent opportunity to show off.

You know, without being obvious about it.

Prior to her makeover, Katsumi Oshiro never really cared about that kind of thing - at least not outwardly. She was too rough around the edges, people never saw her as anything beyond kind'a cute beneath the layers of brassy attitude. But the makeover left her with a distinctly newfound sense of pride in her appearance. In a way, being pretty became a part of her Punk Princess brand. And if she had to be honest with herself, she really enjoys being seen as attractive and desirable. It also helps build a fanbase! Assuming she can keep normal, non-edgelord fans after they get past her looks and the personality hits the forefront.

Whatever the retention rate, Katsumi has decided to make use of these final vestiges of the summer season by hitting the beach. A black bikini decorated in gold palm leaves can only charitably be described as "covering" her, leaving the punkette's slender, sleek features exposed. Long legs, narrow hips, a trim waist with toned midsection, modestly curved chest, and smoothly streamlined arms, all bared to the sun above. Settled back along a cushy lounge chair, silky voluminous black hair cascading behind her, and confident little half-smile playing on her lips, Katsumi is verifiably preening and silently daring wrestling fans to notice her. All while, of course, trying to project the image that she's not, in fact, trying to attract attention; the effort to make it look effortless, you know.

Katsumi's Current Look

Vivid green eyes rest half-lidded; she's a tiny bit zoned out, absorbing the sound of the waves in the distance, people chatting, and the occasional *PONG* of a volleyball game nearby.

It's turning out to be a nice, lazy day. Though maybe a bit too lazy. She can't say her little ploy has worked yet.

“Oh no it’s fine! Really Sam. Don’t worry. We'll figure something out!” Emma said to a beautiful brown haired woman, who was wearing a simple bikini and some flip flops.

“You sure Ems? Because I can call my boss back and try to reschedule it. I know how much you and the others have been looking forward to this.” Sam replied, giving her friend a small uncertain look.

“Yes! I’m sure. Now go. Shoo shoo!” Emma said with a grin, waving her friend off. Sam gave Emma another uncertain look before sighing and walking away towards her car. Emma’s grin fell once Sam was far away enough and groaned into her hands.

What was supposed to be a nice day of relaxation with some friends was now kind of ruined thanks to Sam’s boss calling her to come into work when today was supposed to be her off day. Sadly she was also the only one who knew her job the best at her office so no one else could do what she could do.

Glancing at her friends, they looked a bummed, sad or annoyed that the volleyball game they were in the middle of had to stop due to Sam having to leave. Now that they have an odd number of people, it looked like they weren’t gonna finish the game.

Getting a idea, Emma walked back to her friends.

“Guys don’t worry. How about I go and find someone to join us!” Emma called out to her friends. Her friends glanced at each other, some looked interested and others looked unsure since most people were already doing their own stuff. “The worst thing they can say is no.” Emma said noticing some of her friends uncertain looks.

After talking about it, one of her friends sent her a thumbs up. Grinning in delight at seeing her idea getting approved, Emma begin walking in a random direction, hoping to find someone that could help her out.

(5 minutes later)

Emma grumbled in annoyance. She asked 3 different people if they would be interested in joining a volleyball game but they said no. The first two were nice about saying no. The last one on the other hand was such a bitch! Telling her “No and go away! You’re blocking my sunlight.” Bitch, she wasn’t even blocking the sun! She was on the other side of her.

Grumbling for a few more seconds, her eyes wandered towards a beautiful, raven haired woman, looking like she was sunbathing. Hoping this one was at least better than the last one, Emma walked towards her.

The blonde haired woman is wearing a simple but beautiful red bikini top and matching bottom that showed off her fit form. A slender physique, long smooth legs, a toned midsection with perfectly toned muscles scattered all over her body that she has been developing for years now thanks to all her training. On her head was a pair of sunglasses and her blonde hair was tied in a ponytail.

“Hey.” Emma called out towards the woman sitting in her chair as she walked closer to the woman. “I know this is random. But would you be interested in playing a volleyball game with me and a few of my friends?” Emma was mentally begging the woman was gonna say yes. Or if not, at least don’t be a bitch like the person before.

Katsumi's mental drift started to take its toll. Less and less was she aware of her surroundings, her mind wandering further into a stream of disjointed fuzz, concepts and impulsive notions flickering in and out like fireflies. The preamble of dozing right off to sleep.

A voice!

The eyes shoot open, pupils shrinking in the sunlight as she tries to focus. All at once, she's acutely aware of the warm seabreeze against her skin, the heat of the sunshine on her face, and- a shadow! A moving shadow! She looks down at it, then quickly up to the source; a silhouette against the light at first. "Muh?," dumbly puzzles Katsumi. Her brain hadn't yet processed what was said, or the image before her.

A fist raises, rubbing at an eye. And as her awareness heightens, she begins making an effort to play it off. "O-oh, uh. Volleyball?" She squints back up at the other girl, finally taking her in. She's young - about her age. Athletic, tight body. Looks great in a bikini. Pretty blonde hair. With a glance back over her shoulder to confirm no one else is approaching, she nods.

"Uhh, yeah. Sure." She pivots over on her rear and plants her feet in the sand. And finally, with a heft, she pushes herself up to her full height. And now that she's finally mentally with it again, she paces around to the girl's side to get a good, even theatric look at her without the sun's glare. She's just a smidge taller than the blonde. But she has some really pretty eyes!

"That them over there?," she asks, casting a look towards the volleyball net. "Who's team do ya want winnin'? 'Cuz that'll be the one ya put me on!"
