L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

2 of 3 Submission Match: Winner must make their opponent submit twice. If the opponent does not tap or submit, KO is allowed to earn a point.

Maya looked herself up and down in the mirror and took a deep breath. It was a long road to get here, but she had finally managed to make it onto the LAW roster. She knew she had the skill set, but she was still nervous. This had been a dream of hers ever since she began wrestling. On top of that, her parents would be in attendance which only added to the nerves. Checking her pony tail one last time, Maya turned and left the locker room.

Maya's opponent for this match was a bit of a mystery to her. Apparently she'd been found in a jungle somewhere. It would at least make for an interesting match since Maya wasn't sure what would come her way. Approaching the entrance to the arena, Maya's nerves settled a little. This was at least familiar. She was ushered forward and soon her music roared through the arena. A variation on a classic Irish tune. Maya then took her first steps in front of the crowd.

Maya was still a relatively new face, but the crowd cheered for her regardless. Likely partly due to the fact Maya was a real stunner to look at. Maya slid into the ring and raised her hands blowing some kisses to the crowd in appreciation before moving to her corner. She use it to begin stretching out a bit while she waited for her opponent to arrive.

Cathy relaxing in the back waiting for her turn listening for her music thinking of her past matches. Reviewing in her head and taping her foot listening to her opponents theme music. then suddenly Cathy hears her theme music, she quickly sits up and runs out onto the ramp and pauses.

She looks around the crowd still with few matches under her experience she still not use to the crowd and looks around and waves smiling at the crowd and jumping up and down on the ramp. Then she spots her opponent in the ring then runs full speed and slides into the ring. She quickly gets up looking Maya up and down walking back and forth for a second then walks to Maya staring at Maya with her blue eyes with curiosity. Then says "Nice to Meet you! I look forward to our match!" Cathy extends her hand out to offer a hand shake.

Maya walked toward Cathy while reaching out to receive the handshake. "Hi I'm Maya! I'm looking forward to it!" Maya was glad to see her first opponent in LAW seemed to have some good sportsmanship to start things off. "Thanks for giving me my debut! This has been a dream come true for me!"

After the exchange of pleasantries, Maya would retreat to her corner and continue to stretch out waiting for the match to begin.

Cathy shakes Maya's hand and tilts her head back and forth and smiles and replies "Maya, what a nice name! I am glad to be your debut match and always nice to meet new friends!" Cathy also goes back into the opposite corner of Maya and watches her stretch and semi mimics Maya's stretches while she waits for the bell for the match to start

The bell rang and Maya moved forward slowly toward Cathy. Maya wasn't really sure what to expect from the woman so being cautious was usually the best course of action. Cathy looked as though she packed a fair amount of strength in her body, so Maya wanted to test it before committing to game plan. Maya would approach Cathy and look to lock up with her in a collar and elbow.

Cathy watches Maya exit the corner as Cathy does the same to meet Maya in the middle of the ring. Cathy notes to herself that Maya’s build looks solid for her size and see Maya raise her arms for a test of strength. Cathy remarks, “test of strength huh, I am game!” Cathy raises her arms to mimic Mayas then plants her feet in an attempt to start pushing Maya back

Cathy seemed game to lock up. This would at least give Maya a better look at the power Cathy possessed. However, Cathy packed a little more power than Maya expected. As the two locked up, Cathy would begin to push Maya back toward the corner of the ring until the pair reached the turnbuckle and Maya was forced into the corner. Being locked in the corner, Maya would try and reverse position on Cathy.

Maya would try and slide out to the side while kicking Cathy's ankle to throw her off balance. If it worked, Maya would push Cathy into the corner and work on trying to land some elbow strikes on Cathy's face.

Cathy could feel she was slowly overpowering Maya forcing her into the turnbuckle. Cathy still watching Maya movements knowing anybody cornered is at their most dangerous and just as she expected Maya would attempt a kick to Cathy’s ankles Cathy would suddenly jump up and place her feet on Maya’s stomach and pull backwards on Maya’s shoulder at the same time to flip Maya over for a Monkey Flip!

Cathy read Maya's move perfectly as she reversed it almost immediately. Suddenly, Maya felt Cathy's feet meet her stomach and the red head was flipped over Cathy. The next moment Maya impacted the canvas with a thud. "Huuurghhh!" Maya landed on her back with an immediate sharp pain that shot through her back. She would grab her back and roll over to one side as she tried to nurse her back a little.

Cathy heard the thud from Maya and turned to watch her squirm on the mat. Then Cathy would run to Maya try to lift Maya up just enough to attempt to put Maya in a laying down bearhug then Cathy says “since you are new I to this I just want to hug you and squeeze you!” Cathy would tighten her hug when saying that
