Music played, Mindy Midnight's theme was going through the arena but lasted only a few seconds before Mindy's voice followed. "Cut it! Cut the music!" Mindy said and soon the song ended where Mindy came out, sunglasses still on her face and wearing her jacket to growing boos. "Before I wrap my opponent in a shroud of darkness I have something I need to say." Mindy said marching down the ring as she spoke. "I feel like you people aren't giving me enough credit! You never did but it's even worse now, Karen Meadows may have stood for that but Mindy Midnight is a star and stars have to speak out when they're treated like this. Last year I was one win away from being the Openweight champion. One! If I hadn't showed Alizeh mercy when I had her dangling on the ropes looking at me so pitfully I'd be champ right now! I set the match up, I made the poster that everyone loved and I brought my Earth englufing charisma to that match, and later that same year I did the same for Christina Perez and accepted her barbaric match to give her a match that made her a worldwide name after making her viral by beating her ass twice. How many people even knew who she was before she wrestled me?" Mindy asked. She got boos thrown back at her in return.

"Exactly! None of you knew her!" Mindy said, getting louder boos for trying to twist their words for her agenda. "As a reward for my work, Alizeh is now in the Main event despite wrestling a bum rookie at the last PPV and Christina's tag match is getting more coverage than mine. Instead of being in the spotlight I'm stuck wrestling the same bum Alizeh scraped by because fans those losers in the back think a shit place like Salzburg wants to see the two of us wrestle!" Mindy screamed, each word getting the fans angrier. But she continued without a single care for what they thought and felt. "It's ridiculous and insulting to put me and this...Kate on the same page. I actually wrestle tough opponents she wrestles against her girlfriend so they can make the other look good and get her a job here. Trust me I know a thing or two about acting and that match between them was staged. I refuse to wrestle a fake, no rookie is that good. Which is why I am going to sit here now and put this entire PPV on hold unless I'm named the no. 1 contender for any belt of my choosing, which I deserve!" Mindy said and she would take a chair, enter the ring and sit down in protest in the middle of the ring, seemingly refusing to wrestle until she heard what she wanted.

A match at a PPV was bound to be stressful, last time at least Kate knew the person she was coming up against, even if in the end it did not go quite as she wished, this time she knew her opponent not much more than the crowd did, they never even spoke a word to each other but as it turned out, Mindy had plenty to say about them being matched together, something Kate got to witness from backstage as she was getting ready to go out. Judging from the boos that accompanied Mindy, the audience was not buying into her words much more than Kate herself but it was little consolation when it was her name that was being dragged through the mud. She took a few deep breaths, she couldn't be losing her cool just yet, it was clear that was what Mindy counted on but she'd need to put in more work to get that.

Grabbing a mic, Kate made her way to the stage, music playing in the background but quickly fading as without the usual theatrics, Kate made her way down to the ring. Once the music stopped completely she brought her microphone up. "You know, it's funny how you first bring up your fights with Christina and then talk about how you know something about acting. Yeah, we all saw your first match with her, we know you do." Kate said as she climbed the stairs to the ring and stepped onto the apron, turning to the crowd with the second sentence and taking a short pause as they cheered for her while she slipped between the ropes. "But you can't just act your way into a title shot, you'd first have to prove you deserve one and no matter how you try and twist that, Alizeh has beaten you, kept winning and got it. Meanwhile instead of using this opportunity to prove you deserve that, you sit here and throw a tantrum like a child." She took another pause as the crowd got once more too loud to get through. "You say I'm fake, but from where I am it looks like you are just scared, after all, if I'm just good for nothing rookie, someone with the championship potential you seem to think you have should have no trouble exposing me." She finished, resting her back on the ropes, she knew her mic skills were not that great but given how Mindy herself was received they were enough. Now she simply hoped that her opponent would quit posturing and they could get to what they were really here for.

Mindy remained seated, letting nothing but the sound of boos grow until Kate's music hit. Mindy rolled her eyes when she walked out, and didn't even put on a show for the fans. She just walked down with a mic ready to talk. "Oh god the rookie wants to cut a promo this should be good. Did you rehearse this one too?" Mindy asked before Kate even spoke. Kate ignored her taunts and mentioned her match with Christina, the first match between them when the movie star won by DQ, which many said that she faked to win the match. "Then you know she's a mindless barbarian and a sore loser!" Mindy pouted. She watched Kate continue to grill her and goad her with that lame hero shit, saying that if she was really fake all she'd have to do was prove it. Mindy would sit there as the crowd grew in approval of Kate's words before she spoke again once they started to die down.

"Oh you'd like that wouldn't you? You'd love for a real star to wrestle a fraud so you can coast off the publicity I give you for free, just like your girl did. Well it's not happening! The most important thing in life is time, it's the one thing everyone needs and no matter how good you are you can't get any of it back. I'm not wasting time on you so just go back to that locker room!" Mindy said, standing up and walking over to Kate. "Because even in a match with a total fraud I can get injured just for landing on my feet wrong,if you think I'm putting any wear on my body trying to break down your steroid stomach you have another thing coming." Mindy got even closer and pointed outside the ring. "So do us all a favor and head right for th-" Mindy said and stopped speaking to quickly throw a knee in between Kate's legs. Trying to low blow the rookie before she had any idea what she was doing. If the low blow worked Mindy would take a step back and aim for Kate's face with her next kick. Then she would grab the chair while the fans booed and close it before raising it up and slamming it down on Kate's back. If this was her plan all along or if she had attacked Kate because she insulted only Mindy knew, but since it was a No holds barred match all of this was technically legal even if it happened before the bell.

Trying to outperform an actor in an argument like this was certainly not something Kate was ready for. She was a fighter first and foremost, the showmanship aspect of the wrestling business was still something she did not have a solid handle on and she was certainly feeling it now, not that she had any real option to avoid that standoff. Nor did she much care for what Mindy had to say about her and though it was certainly not her own achievement, the crowd was on her side, or at the very least, against Mindy. Kate sensed that Mindy was about to finish her tirade and was about to bring the mic up to respond but before she could, whatever she was going to say was knocked straight out of her mind.

A knee landing between her legs had a predictable effect as the girl bent over, hands reaching down to the hurt area and leaving her open for yet another attack as a kick rocked her head to the side. Kate stumbled, fell to all fours from the sudden unexpected assault and cursed herself internally, for all the days to forget a cup to a match, of course, she did for an important one like this and to add salt to the wound, this time it was perfectly legal. And so would be the use of weapons, something that Kate realized noticing out of the corner of her eye as Mindy grabbed the chair she brought to the ring and was about to bring it down on top of Kate. The purple-haired fighter was however a bit tougher than Mindy aperantly gave her credit for and just as the chair was about to hit her back, she pushed to the side and rolled towards the ropes. When there, she gestured to the officials hoping they'd understand to officially start the bout. As the bell would ring, she'd rise to her feet, still a bit weak in the legs from the opening cheap shot but nevertheless getting into a stance and gesturing to her chair-wielding opponent to come at her.

The lack of rules let Mindy start the match off before Kate knew they were starting and dropping the recently graduated wrestler with a low blow. The time she took to grab the chair and follow that was enough for Kate to move out of the way even when she was still hunched over from the knee. She tried to motion for the ref to come, but they didn't need them to start the match. No Holds Barred only cared that both of them made it to the ring, the moment they entered everything was on the table and Mindy planned to see that through.

"You're the one who wants this match. You come to me loser!" Mindy said raising her chair and throwing it at Kate's head, not caring if it hit her or not. She would try to run in after it and throw her knee in Kate's face as a follow up to make sure she went down, not giving the ref or her any time to prepare for what she was doing.

Kate was trying to keep her cool, the match certainly started in a way she did not expect and Mindy was making good use of the rules they were under already, not that there were many of them. Kate wanted to approach, up close was where she worked best but the chair in Mindy's hands was posting an issue to that, getting struck with it would be the last thing she needed right now but thankfully, her opponent decided to resolve that problem herself by throwing it at Kate.

Avoiding the object flung her way was easy enough, step forward, duck under but there was her mistake too. The chair obscured her vision and when she ducked, all the momentum she was carrying forward met Mindy's own as the woman's knee slammed into Kate's face, putting a sudden stop to the purple-haired woman's movement as her legs gave out under her. She fell to her knees in a daze, slumping forward, her face finding rest on her opponent's body as she tried and failed to pull herself together again, a thin trail of blood trickling from her nose. This fight started in possibly the worst way it could for her and it seemed it would only get worse

The chair ended up flying past Kate when she ducked under it, putting her in position to take Mindy's follow up knee. Toughness couldn't tank that kind of knee and sent Kate back down, with the sound of her nose tweaking that told Mindy she really hit the right spot. When she dropped Mindy would grab the ropes and begin stomping Kate over and over again, knowing the ref couldn't tell her to stop and the only scolding she got was from the fans who didn't like the cheap shot that started this match.

"Sorry newbie this is showbiz, the stars do what they can to get ahead and the rookies like you look wait and look up at us until you get your turn!" Mindy said leaning on the ropes while she would press her foot down on Kate's head for a few seconds finally letting go so she could boot Kate out of the ring, then turn away from her to stand in the middle of the ring showboat, letting the cameras get a good look at her.

Having your brain rattle in your own skull was not something any amount of toughness could help you with. The knee Kate just received did phenomenal work of that, so much so that Kate was left wide open for anything her opponent might try. There was little delay on that front as well, as Mindy continued the assault on Kate's skull in the form of repeated stomps, not giving Kate any time to react. When she finally lifted her foot up after talking down to Kate, the purple-haired girl would growl out "You... Ghua!" Before being cut off, as she was kicked out of the ring.

Making a poor landing on her side was the least of her worries right now though it most certainly didn't help. Yet, as Kate climbed up to all fours outside the ring and wiped the blood off her face, there was no attack coming her way. That was a small blessing after a start to a fight as disastrous as this one, a chance to catch her breath and let the dizziness settle as she picked herself off the floor and leaned one arm on the barricade while watching her opponent, she was bound to stop her showboating at some point but while it lasted Kate could at least collect herself and steel for what was to come

Mindy was on top, keeping Kate from getting up or even getting in the match. Eventually the overwhelming might of Midnight forced Kate out of the ring, the only way she had a chance to breathe and recover from Mindy's dominant start with her trick. Mindy decided not to go after her, she wanted to stay where Kate would come after her and keep her in control, Mindy was the one being chased, not the chaser. She turned her attention to the booing crowd.

"This will continue to happen until my demands are met! Unless the people of LAW want this loser to suffer she should flee while she still can, and let me continue my protest in peace! By cheering her on you only encourage her destruction!" Mindy boasted from the center of the ring, to the annoyance of the fans who wanted a match. She didn't completely lose track of Kate, for now she was waiting to see what she would do, while warning Kate to simply leave and save herself.
