Tonight was a night not anyone thought one girl from a nobody rural town in the state of Missouri would ever be. Someone who even not so long ago even thought of being in the wrestling business at all. But here she was, Annie Clark, known by her nickname The Smol Powerhouse, had through tons of hard work and a decisive gutsy challenge, was the number one contender and challenger in a long line of failed challenges for the LAW Lightweight Championship, currently held by one Rose Gold, possibly the most dominant champion in LAW’s existence. Very few people were betting on Annie winning, heck some were probably thinking she was going to get destroyed and humiliated right here in Salzburg, Austria. It felt as though LAW Bookers themselves were not even giving Annie much of a chance, putting the Alizeh Vs. Kyoko match ahead of her and Rose Golds.
But if someone did believe in Annie’s chances to win, it was always Annie Clark herself, and her ride or die fanbase that had fallen in love with her through her struggles, trials and tribulations throughout her wrestling career. Annie knew she needed to be the one to beat Rose Gold, especially after all the stuff she said earlier to her. She needed to end this reign of terror. It was up to her, she will not fail, she will not lose, she will beat Rose Gold and become Lightweight Champion of LAW.
Annie was working out, using some dumbbells to help keep her muscles in check, trying to keep any sort of nervousness down her body and kept in. She had one thing to focus on, nothing else and that was beating Rose Gold, pinning her and holding the Lightweight title by the end of the night. Soon enough, the LAW official knocked on the door, and let Annie know that she was coming out first, as tradition for the challenger of a title.
Annie smiled and nodded, before putting the dumbbells down, checking on her ring gear, and then heading out, taking a deep breath while doing so.
The music started, as the arena turned a deep orange, and the crowd began to loudly cheer, as Annie came charging out of the backstage area to the stage, waving to the crowd, who started a loud “ANNIE! ANNIE!” chant, making Annie smile as she looked around the arena. This was truly her biggest moment of her life.
Annie then walked down to the ring, slapping hands with some fans on the way down there, before making her way to the ringside area. She then walked up the steel steps and between the middle and upper ropes to make her way inside the ring. She then headed to the center of the ring and struck a pose.
Annie then headed to her corner and took off her head cloth.
“I hope your watching mom, your daughter really made it. I hope I make you proud tonight.” She muttered before kissing her hair cloth and then tying it back on. The music then stopped as Annie began to stretch her limbs out, waiting for the champion to arrive.
