Author's Notes - The main goal with Tsubasa here is to have a somewhat comical contrast of a traditional, stoic martial artist in the body of a cute, fresh-faced boy trying to prove himself. The kid's trying his damnest to be Ryu when he's in fact a male Sakura, and the goal is to have that contrast come across as cute and endearing, the sort of person you want to cheer on and hope succeeds... or gets wrecked as he fights people way over his head. His polite and stoic nature contrasts and quickly crumbles to reveal his true self as a boyish and excitable kid that's in love with fighting, but that eagerness also hides just how skilled he actually is. He's aimed for a mix of straightforward and sexual matches in hard-hitting fashion, being a decent fighter in normal matches and playing up his androgynous features in sexual matches.

Fighting Style - Trained in his dojo's specific brand of taido, taekwondo, and tessenjutsu, Tsubasa is a skilled striker that knows where throw his punches and kicks. His small body hides a surprising amount of power, especially in his legs. He has a love of using all sorts of acrobatics, kicks, and flashy maneuvers show off his dexterity, much to the crowds delight, as well as a love tearing into his opponent's legs with his own, kicking and striking at his opponent's lower body like an addition.

Strengths - Tsubasa's two biggest strengths are his martial background and aggression. He thrill and excitement for combat makes him unafraid to take risks and hits, and his leg strength let's him pack a punch (or kick in this case) with even the larger opponents. He's also naturally flexible in his lower body, making submissions on his legs hard to succeed.

Weaknesses - That all said, despite his martial background and aggression, the amount of proper combat experience Tsubasa has is limited to his dojo, against other strikers in stand-up fights using a similar style to his own. Tsubasa, while somewhat experienced in submission and flexible, is woefully inexperienced in terms of dealing with more aggressive and complicated submissions, able to only escape simple maneuvers or weaker grapples.

Personality: For all his seriousness toward martial arts, Tsubasa is someone that's curious and fiery at heart. While he holds a deep respect and pride for his heritage and training, he equally loves to show off his skills at every opportunity. For him, combat is just the main way he expressions and explores himself, and he'll push both himself and his opponent to the limit if it means finding out something new in the thrill of battle.

History: Shigure was born into the Minamoto family, a line of former nobility that can trace its lineage even before the Sengoku era, continuing to grow their wealth through smart investments, political influence, and a tight hold on lucrative properties throughout most of southern Japan. Shigure himself was the second son of the family, and the fifth child in total, though he is meant to be heir after a dispute between his older brother and father. From a young age he followed the family's tradition of learning business, politics, martial arts, and culture, much like a noble samurai family of the past might. And while Shigure was cherished in his house and family he felt sheltered, closed off from the outside world beyond the walls of his family's manor and places influence. To this end he tried to expand his world view, first trying to use his martial background to enter competitions outside his home, but was stopped at every turn by his parents. He tried explaining that he wanted to learn about how the common folk lived, but was denied and told to focus on his academic and martial students.

For nearly 3 years these attempts at exploration were blocked and denied until his siblings decided to help Shigure out with his little rebellious phase. His siblings made a few backroom deals with LAW, a company they had been carefully forming relationships with, and quietly sent him to the company under the guise of a business visit, only to pull the wool over his parents eyes and sign on as a wrestler during the business meeting, much to their chagrin.

Ultimately agreeing that it's better to let him learn about the harshness of the world for himself and continue to shelter him they agreed to let him join the LAW under specific conditions of not having his actions link back to them. Shigure accepted, starting his new life as a wrestler of LAW with every intent to show the world his abilities as a warrior and learn about the world around him.

• Tsubasa speaks in a Kansai dialect.
• By his contract, Tsubasa's name and family background is a deeply guarded secret, and he changed his hair and eye color to assist in that obscuring.
