History: Kata started off as a weightlifter but is mostly known for her time competing inside of the cage before getting scouted by the brand new revamped Hardcore division of RR. They had added cage matches to the list and the division looked to be now split between a more hardcore audience and a more serious audience. Being a true cage figther and one of the firsts talent in demand, it looked kinda sus to her, then again... It was a lot of money. She signed and went on a undefeated streak. Her scissors gave her quite a fierce reputation leading her right into a title shot against well known and current champion at the time Katherine. She almost suffered her first lost since signing for the companny but she did the unthinkable... The russian prevailed and managed to knock the champion out in her own rear naked choke, a hold that Katherine kinda made famous during her time as champion. Such sounded almost like an insult to her opponent but... After a few challengers of her own... Kata had it coming suffering the same treatement that once set back previous champion Katherine.
