Match Type: Standard Match
Rules: Victory by pinfall, submission, or knockout.
----
At last, the time had arrived. It was a while back that Countess Isabella Caramelita Dante, the Deadliest Woman Alive, Heir and Reigning Grandmaster to the Black Dragon Fighting Society, had sent in her application to LAW, hoping that she would be able to demonstrate her mastery of martial arts by taking down the most elite professional fighters she could find. After a few months had passed and she hadn't heard anything, she had assumed that her letter had just been lost in the mail...which was, of course, a grave insult to such a renowned and accomplished fighter like herself that any insolent fools would regret! But now she had been informed she would be scheduled for a match on an upcoming show, and with that, it was time for her to fly to Japan to train for the big day. Now, that day had come, and soon, everyone would witness the glory of Countess Dante!

"Coming first to the ring, making her debut in LAW! From Chicago, Illinois, at 5'4, weighing 110 pounds...uh..." Misa Otomura, LAW ring announcer, was reading out the announcements when she took a pause. She leaned closer to the schedule, squinting to get a better look at the name of the next entrant - which seemed unncessarily long and complicated. Was she reading that right? It seemed unusual that a new and unproven wrestler would sound so important, especially when she hadn't been informed of her arrival like it was worth noting.

"It says...Countess Irina Carmina Dante? Is that right?"

"NO!! You fool!"

Hearing Misa's confusion over the microphone, Isabella decided it was time she made herself known. The first glimpse that LAW's fans would have of the self-proclaimed Deadliest Woman Alive was as she stormed down the entrance ramp, her eyes fixed on the announcer with a glare. "It says Isabella Caramelina Dante!! And you may as well call me by my rightful title of Deadliest Woman Alive, for that matter! Get it right, you-HEY!"

At the sight of the small, thin, and unassuming girl trying to order Misa around, the fans began bursting into laughter. Isabella hated it when the announcer wouldn't show her the proper respect, but when everyone here regarded her as a joke? No! She couldn't tolerate this foolishness! "STOP THAT!!" she shouted, spinning around and jabbing her finger into the crowd. "I could kill every single person in this arena with my BARE HANDS! And while I'm feeling merciful enough to spare my opponent, you are testing my limits!"

Here we go….match number two. Mary had made another short-noticed flight out to Tokyo and even had to call off work on Friday in order to reserve her ticket. LAW contacted her about another match so soon after her last one against Chelsea Loski. Mary wasn’t used to back-to-back like this, but she would have to make sure with management that another match wouldn’t be scheduled for quite a long time. Mary was soon in the locker room tying her right boot together and got up wearing her debut attire looking herself in the mirror. A backstage worker called for her and she grabbed her lab coat putting it on and made the short walk to gorilla as production was cued to play her music.

Mary came out to cheers as she lifted up both her hands waving to the crowd. The crowd chanted “SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE!” as Mary blushed a little bit not use to the attention even after a few years in the ring. Even the bingo halls and community centers she competed in back in Lincoln were a bit more comfortable for her. Mary came ringside and took in the sight of her opponent and she had to take a step back. What was she wearing? Is this….cosplay as the kids called it? She knew it was popular in America and Japan, but was this a cosplay match? Mary asked for a microphone before heading up the steps and going through the ropes.

As always, you fans are quite the rarity I love about the sport. I promise not to disappoint tonight,” Mary then turned to Isabella as she looked her up and down a bit puzzled. “I’m confused…who let a teenager in this ring? Does this promotion just sign anyone that looks like an athlete?

No matter how much Isabella tried to shut the fans up, they kept on laughing harder and harder. In fact, if anything, she was only making things worse. When the self-proclaimed Deadliest Woman Alive looked like she was no older than 14 and could be knocked over by a stiff breeze, no amount of grandstanding would make her look any less ridiculous. She hissed through her teeth, her face growing redder as she fumed with rage. In fact, she didn't even realize the match was about to begin until the music started playing - and the crowd began to chant, welcoming the Countess's opponent to the ring!

Dante swung back around to face her, and right away, she noticed how Mary was getting far more cheers, despite looking more like an out-of-shape college professor than anyone who could pose a serious threat. That was enough to annoy her in and of itself, that the fans would choose this waste of space over a gold belt (which she made up herself; after all, she could destroy any black belt with ease) master like herself. It frustrated her even more that this was who they'd picked as her first opponent - she was here to take on the best fighters in the world, not the dregs at the bottom of the barrel; this was an insult to what she was really capable of! But when not even Mary seemed to accept her as a serious threat...that was the last straw.

She jumped up onto the apron, jabbing a finger in Mary's direction. "You IMBECILE!! I'M 22! You'll SURELY find that no teenager could EVER manage the mental and physical discipline needed to even APPROACH the mastery of DIM MAK!" Then, after a pause, she realized she was still looking to find trainees, and she was undercutting her bottom line. "...Of course, if they wanted to learn I'd still teach them!"

Mary would be a little taken back by the insult at her and thought this was a pretty troubled person. Throwing around insults like that wouldn’t stand with her and it certainly wouldn’t go unpunished in this encounter. Mary narrowed her glare and brought the mic back up to her face and turned into a more stern teacher.

I’ve had my fair share of troublemakers, but you are starting to tow the line, young miss! I think you need to be taught a very valuable lesson in respect and it looks like I’m gonna have to deliver that lesson! Class is in session then!” Mary exclaimed as she passed the mic off to the referee and discarded her white lab coat.

The crowd cheered on Mary as she struck a confident grin and the referee kept both women separated from each other. Mary cracked her knuckles and waited for the bell to ring as she was going to get back at Isabella for her immature insults all because she wants to play a ninja or whatever.

Oh, this was really getting on her nerves now. When Isabella heard Mary brush her off, acting as though she was nothing more than a child throwing a temper tantrum, she knew for sure that the woman in front of her didn't take a single word she said seriously. And this was when Isabella could easily kill her with a single blow, with her hands tied behind her back, if she wanted to! Her eyes narrowed into a glare as she stood a little straighter, and her fists clenched tightly at her sides. She blew a gout of hot air from her nostrils, like a bull prepared to charge. As much as the Countess wanted to lash out at Mary here and now, she knew it wouldn't be the right time. The match was about to begin, after all - she would soon have the chance to show her all that she was capable of. And if that didn't shut Mary up, she wasn't sure what would.

"So you've chosen the path of a doubter, hmm?" she muttered, slipping under the ropes and into the ring. "Fool...you won't know what you're truly dealing with until it strikes you in the face!"

*DING DING DING*

There was no doubt that Dante was going to open this match. It was her pride that was being tested, and she had something to prove! As soon as the bell rang, she suddenly sank into a stance, bending at the knees and waving her hands in front of her to settle into place. Then, as she belted out a battle cry, she would strike as hard and as fast as she could, whipping one arm around to throw a chop at Mary's face, with the other following close behind! If Mary didn't interrupt anything, she would follow that with a swift upward shot with a kick to the jaw! Isabella wanted to blind her with the sheer speed, power, and ferocity she was capable of, and she didn't want to so much as give her a second to breathe in between blows!

Mary hadn’t expected to be in such a predicament from the get go as the bell rang for the match to start. Mary hoped for a traditional lock up and push down on her foe, but Isabella had other plans running up to chop her face! Mary spit out stumbling before another chop grazed her cheek making her stumble into the ropes! A kick made its way into her jaw almost vaulting Mary over the top rope. The crowd was a bit taken back by all of this as Mary hung on for dear life and the referee helped her settle back in the ring. Mary breathed and groaned holding her cheeks as she stared down the Countess.

This might be a bit harder than at first anticipated. Mary was trained in professional wrestling, not martial arts. Even then, younger rookies easily outclassed her at first and now, some of it was returning to the seems. Isabella had managed a clear advantage over her and speed was outmatching her. Mary had to come back stronger! However, blind violence wouldn’t work against a martial artist as they were keen on throws and counters with the arms-at least she learned that from the old action movies she watched with her husband. She needed to focus on the legs and if she grounded Isabella, she could go into her submissions.

Mary had to break Isabella’s concentration for the moment and get her on the canvas. She mirrored a martial artist stance to Isabella’s and ran in feinting a chop to Isabella’s face expecting her to try and grab her arm to reverse, but Mary ducked down with her other hand balling up to punch Isabella in her stomach! If that worked, Mary would grab the Countess by her legs tripping her on her back and looking to lock the legs in a Texas Cloverleaf hold flipping the ninja on her stomach!

Some wrestlers would have started things out slowly and carefully, meeting their opponent on even ground and going head to head in a carefully matched lockup...but Isabella Caramelita Dante was not most wrestlers. She didn't believe in being sportsmanlike; that wouldn't serve anyone in a real battle! No, Isabella was a fighter, and she went into every match with the intention of dominating. When it came time for the match to begin, she had struck with a quick volley of strikes, giving Mary no time to prepare or to defend herself!

As Isabella's last kick landed across the teacher's jaw, Mary was practically bowled over the ropes. The crowd gasped, seeing someone as small as she was perform such a devastating blow. At first, even the Countess herself couldn't help but be shocked, and her eyes went wide at the sight - though she soon reminded herself that something like that was only to be expected from a martial artist of her caliber, going up against a nobody, and she settled back into a stance with a proud grin on her face. "You WITNESS the might of the Black Dragon Fighting Society!" she boasted, puffing out her chest.

Isabella took a step backward, giving herself some space to react as Mary got off the ropes. Seeing her run forward with her arm drawn back for a chop, the Countess raised her hands, already preparing her counter. She wasn't worried - she already knew how to deflect moves like this and to take control, and she grinned a cocky grin as she swept her arm up to block Mary's chop. Little did she know, that was exactly what Mary wanted - and she ducked lower to hurl her fist into the Countess's gut!

With Mary's punch burying itself in her midsection, Isabella let out a wheeze. She doubled over forward, and her eyes went wide in shock. It was inconceivable that someone like Mary could catch a grandmaster like her off-guard like that! But Mary didn't stop there - while Isabella's balance was already tested, she knocked her over on her back, sending her sprawling with her legs in the air. And she proceeded to grab hold of those legs, turning her over and twisting them into place with a Texas Cloverleaf!

Now feeling all the force erupt over her spine, Isabella threw back her head, howling in pain. She twisted her body from side to side, making her best efforts to struggle free, but each time she moved she was only putting down more force on her own back. But even then, she could find it in her to brag. "I-Impossible..!! I can't possibly be controlled s-so easily..!"

Mary had done it! She managed to trip the grandmaster on her back and place her in a devastating submission hold. The ninja gal didn’t do herself any favors mindlessly struggling and the crowd cheered on Mary as she kept a firm grip on the knot of legs she made. Mary heard Isabella bragging and moved back to the middle of the ring making it harder for the Countess to counter this move or even grab the ropes for safety.

Your parents clearly didn’t teach you modesty. Good thing I’m here. Anyway, since you are stuck for the meantime, how about testing your academics with a pop quiz?” Mary asked with her own confident smirk. “What is the process of evaporation and give me an example to show me you know how it works?

It was bad enough that Isabella had found herself helpless and at the mercy of her opponent, in a match that she knew should well have been a demonstration in how effortlessly she could demolish her. That was an indignity of its own - she had no intention to be left struggling helplessly and wincing in pain as Mary put more pressure against her legs and back, dragging her to the center of the ring to prevent her from even getting a rope break...not that she would ever need a rope break, anyway, when she had been up against opponents far more frightening than Mary could ever hope to be! But this was ridiculous. It seemed as though the teacher had such little faith in the Countess's abilities that she was going to taunt her! She was not about to play these games!

Isabella hissed through clenched teeth, shooting a hateful glare back up at Mary out of the corner of her eye. "You...you must SURELY be an insolent FOOL if you think that such meaningless trivia is even worth the time of the Deadliest Woman to Ever Live!" she snapped, dodging the question - she could probably answer it if she wanted to, but to do so would be to admit she was led astray by Mary's idiotic diversion, which was even worse than being stumped! "You only delay your inevitable destruction!!"

Without much else to rely on for her escape, Isabella planted her palms against the canvas, attempting to brace herself enough to push herself up from the mat. She clawed desperately at the mat, as though holding onto it for dear life. She just wanted something, anything, to give her a little bit more of an edge on Mary. But she was considerably smaller, and she had to fight through the painful contortions she was being put through - it was a struggle just to take back any ground for herself, and she wouldn't get far before her arms began to tremble from the strain!

Mary had a firm grip on Dante as the science teacher wrenched harder on the legs and even when Isabella spat back at the educator, it wasn’t like she could go anywhere. Mary released Isabella from the hold not wanting to take out the ninja that easily as she sent three stomps on the Countess’s back to keep her down. Mary then sent three elbows into the back of the Countess before locking the ninja in a front facelock before looking up at the crowd.

Should she be punished further, class?!” Mary called out as the audience shouted “YES!” and Mary grinned.

Mary then held up Dante by her head and then tried sending ten consecutive elbows to her face as the crowd counted with each one!
