A lean but toned physique makes him capable of outmaneuvering those who are caught unawares or underestimate him, and he has a heightened endurance level that allows him to think shockingly quick on the fly.

Strategy and Style – Lie Ren has researched every wrestling guidebook he could get his hands on and that, combined with his martial arts proficiency, makes him a serious threat once he starts performing his technical arsenal of exasperating submissions. Suplexes, sleeperholds, and takedowns ensures he will get you on the canvas eventually, and he’s known to target someone’s arm relentlessly to ready them up for his tortuous submission finisher. If all else fails he can be particularly proficient when it comes to his strikes, but he considers them the last resort of an educated man.

1) Academic Obedience - Ren's lean physique and trained endurance level is put to the test in this agonizing submission, but luckily the strain is amplified tenfold on his woeful adversary trapped within. The learned fighter first snags his foe into an upside-down position reminiscent of a tombstone, except than lowers himself by bending his legs to support his foe's weight. Ren then crosses his foes ankles and cranks them downward and placing immense strain on their spine until they tap out from being outsmarted, and outfought.

1)Yālì diǎn dǎjí - Ren exercises his extensive martial arts background and studied knowledge of the human body's musculature to unleash a striking combination with unfettered swiftness and accuracy. Targeting specific nerves on the the human body and in the proper sequential order, Ren uses his index and middle finger in a flurry of strikes on his adversary's upper torso before hitting one final pressure point on the opponent's forehead. Resulting in either immediate but brief parallelization or loss of consciousness, although only feasible against opponent's who are already staggered given the precision necessary and time Ren needs to ready himself.

1) Intellectual Property – If Ren must debase himself by acting on his own carnal inclinations, than he dedicates himself to succeeding just as spectacularly in this avenue than whatever else he sets genius level intellect at. A downed adversary will barely have time to react before being beset upon by Ren's tightening legs bearing down on them with taut intensity. A predicament they may be less or more inclined to escape from considering they will be forced to service him all throughout in a demeaning spectacle. Losing the match and and enduring this humiliation may still be a small price to have taste of his brilliance...

Past/History: One could say that Ren was raised within a house of learning and born with a silver writing quill in his hand. His father was a renowned college history professor who made sure that Ren’s first toy within his crib was an abacus, and his mother was an ill-tempered librarian known for having an absurdly accurate hearing level. Prioritizing the phrase knowledge is power as a key facet of their parenting philosophy, his parents made sure he grew up to appreciate the finer things in life so long as those things could be found in a textbook, novel, or short story. Stellar grades were the first obvious result of this type of rearing, but Ren’s level of bookworm made for a prime bullying target back in the day.
By his mid-teens Ren had learned the hard way that book smarts could really only take one so far before having that book and most of his belongings thrown into the river by the school bullies. Therefore he opted early on to partake in physical fitness, self-defense, Bajiquan, and as it turns out, wrestling classes to better defend himself against such loutish thugs. He’d soon become somewhat of a prodigy at this as well after applying the same level of dedication at grappling as to his studies, although it was around this time that he’d begin brandishing somewhat of an inflated ego that may have actually warranted some bullies to prey on him, only now they couldn’t thanks to his muscled physique and knowledge of how to use it.
As could be expected, Lie Ren graduated at the top of his class from the college where his father taught. He skated by throughout his first four years and decided to stay enrolled to pursue a higher education in computer programming and applied thermodynamics. Although he had a scholarship, Ren did find himself needing some manner of job to start building some capital and help pay the bills. Pursuing the highest levels of academia was fulfilling and all, but the thrill of grappling with others still lit a fire within him like no other. In particular tussling with ladies, who were a unique treat to educate within the ring since he’d already done his share of doing the same against men. And where else but within certain wrestling federations could there be a grander stage and bevy of competitor’s capable of challenging him in mat-based mechanics.
