Patrice Juillet was hyped. Rarely was there a more exciting, or outright exhilarating moment for an actress and a performer as entering a new stage for the first time! And tonight, that stage was the LAW arena. A huge stage packed with people from all over Japan, and the world, with global broadcasting with millions of viewers... What more could a performer ask for?

Well, a solid opposite, or when wrestling, an opponent of course. But that was always out of Trice's control! The director was always going to hire whoever they were going to hire, and the management was going to book whoever the management was going to book... And Trice just had to take it from there. That was part of the job! And of course, as a seasoned actress, that was rarely, if ever, going to be any kind of problem. But what was in her control was the first impression that she was going to give... And Patrice wasn't planning to fail on that.

Of course, music was always going to be an important part of any kind of show, and Stromae's Alors On Dance was one to never fail. Even if one did not know a single word of French, the tunes always got people going... And also this time, the crowds were already getting hyped up to see the newcomer just by hearing her entrance theme! Trice let them wait in anticipation for a while, before finally emerging from the backstage and sprinting her way down cheerfully and energetically down the ramp. Jumping up onto the apron, Trice then proceeded to climb up the nearest corner to greet the crowds, before jumping down and proceeding to the opposite one to repeat her greetings there.

Finally settling down in the middle of the ring, the French Actress was given a microphone. "こんばんは、東京!" Greeting the crowds appropriately in nearly perfectly-pronounced Japanese, the newcomer earned a good bit of goodwill and applause from them by having learnt a few words to say. Smiling widely, the blonde then proceeded to introduce herself. "Thank you, thank you, merci beaucoup. I am Patrice, Patrice Juillet, and I come from Lyons, France. It is great to be here!" she continued, before wanting to appeal even more to the audience's emotions. "I really enjoy being in Japan, being here in the LAW arena... And you crowds are so amazing! I really, really want to give you a good show tonight, right on my first match! Look, I even put on my best wrestling attire for tonight!" she then concluded, before twirling around like a ballerina, showing off her attire to the crowds in a way that also caused her skirt to get lifted almost a little bit too high... "Now, if you'll be nice to me, as you've already been, I'm going to promise you a great show tonight while defeating my opponent!" Trice then cheerfully declared, before proceeding to settle down in her corner amidst all the applause, now becoming already rather curious about who the management had set up to face her in her debut.

Knowing wrestling promotions, it could have been literally anyone...

Waiting in the wings is none other than the Punk Princess, Katsumi Oshiro. Management had a bit of a chuckle on setting this one up, they did. Pair the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed would-be sweetheart with someone who's historically run wrestlers into the ground - before even the sound of the bell. They just knew Katsumi would light into this girl. She wouldn't be able to help herself. Someone pretty, upbeat, full of positivity for the crowd, a rookie with something to prove...

In fairness, they were right. Katsumi's never laid eyes on Patrice. She doesn't know the first thing about her. But she's listening to her music, lips pursing in a small moue. And just when she takes the first step forward, she hears the girl's voice; she's decided to promo. So Katsumi withdraws her boot with a hard stare at the curtain. The punkette begins bobbing on her feet, weight shifting from left to right, right to left, fingers flexing. The new wardrobe still feels a little stiff on her, but it feels way more properly pizazzy than what she used to rock. And now, her entrance attire feels so much more in tune with her attitude. And yet, all it is is a leather jacket and pair of shades.

Button nose crinkles at the end. God, this Patrice girl is so wholesome! She's sure she's some blue-haired four-foot-tall dork in a singlet. And a beret. Because of course she'd wear a beret. She mentioned France or something, right? Ugh. Suddenly, her left hand reaches aside. "Microphone."

MEANWHILE!

In the arena, the house lights go down drawing a hush from the crowd. And then, the first licks of a heavy electric guitar kick on. Emerald and amethyst laser lights flash and flare, swirl and swing throughout the stadium. The titantron displays a dark night sky. A pair of vivid green eyes appear. The name 'KATSUMI OSHIRO' shine into being around them in perfect purple frame.

Yes, she has an actual intro video.

"And her opponent! From Osaka, Japan! Weighing in at 124 lbs.! The Punk Princess! KATSUMI! OOOOSHIIIIROOOO!"

When the main tune begins and the sizzle reel of Patrice's imminent opponent starts, the girl in question charges out into view. She half on heel at the top of the ramp, arms thrown high, and withdraws in a wide, theatric spin, putting her slender body on display. The girl is met with a mixed reaction - cheers from those particularly bloodthirsty, cruel, or edgelordy, while most boo her, remembering past behavior and incidents. She lowers one arm and points with the other down the arena to the girl she can kind of make out in the ring up ahead. Sunglasses in a dark coliseum? Stylish, but not great for vision. A wicked, predatorially fangy smirk tugs at the corner of her lips, and she shakes her head slowly.

And then, the veritable sashay down the aisle. Hips sway, the gold studs in her belt and bralet glittering under the lights. She flicks an equally theatric 'uncaring' point of acknowledgment to the right with one hand, then to the left with the microphone with the other, repeating the process until she reaches the ring apron. She strolls up the metal steps, maneuvers to the center of the ring apron, and faces out at the crowd. Left fist raises. Right fist joins... and begins cranking, slowly producing a middle finger. Followed by a kissy face out at the audience. More boos. More cheers.

Suddenly, Katsumi's back arches over the top rope to cleanly rotate herself into the ring, gold-accented boots alighting on the mat gracefully. Microphone transfers to her right hand, and the girl pivots to finally put her sunglasses'd gaze on her opponent.

Oh shit, she's really pretty. Like movies-level pretty. And she's not all tiny, or looking like a chump. She's just... incredibly pretty. Did she mention she's pretty?

Thankfully, the shades are probably keeping the look from going noticed! Hopefully! Get it together!

The microphone quickly raises. "Ooh-la-fuck-ing-la!," she begins. Best foot forward and all that. "This bitch came all the way from France just to get her narrow ass kicked tonight for your entertainment! Ain't that just the sweetest thing!"

She pauses to let the audience get their boos in, uptilting her chin in a deliberately smug manner.

"What?," she asks, turning to face the audience. "Is that not nice? I thought I was payin' her a compliment! That's definitely what she came out here to do, isn't it?" Her head turns with a sly, but menacing smile to Patrice. "Isn't it?"

She approaches the blonde, casually shoving aside the referee who began to intervene. "I mean, you didn't come out here to my house thinking you're gonna beat the Punk Princess, did you?" Without missing a beat, she retracts a little in feigned shock and sympathy. "Oh God, that is what you thought! You poor, poor thing!"

Instantly, the sympathy vanishes. "Well, with stupid shit like that, at least we can say one thing about you... that blonde hair is all natural." Her left hand lifts to gently palm-bob one of the girl's cute side-ponytails.

To Patrice, this probably was the most important part of the night. Not only was she still in the middle of the crucial part of giving the first impression to the crowds, but also to her opponent as well. And frankly, maybe even more importantly, her opponent was going to give the first impression of herself to her... And that always determined a lot already. What was going to be her role tonight? Was she going to be a confident sweetheart, teaching a jobber a lesson in her debut? Or was she going to be a babyface rookie, getting paired up against one of the league's toughest? Either way, or for anything in between, Trice felt pumped up and ready...

And she didn't have to wait and wonder for long. And oh God, she even had an entrance video... Half-amused, half-curious, Patrice watched as the big screens showed her apparent opponent marching confidently and making some neat moves in the ring. But what was even more telling was what she heard... The rock music clearly implied that her opponent was going to be no sweetheart - and neither did her nickname, "The Punk Princess". But what did suggest that she could be a local sweetheart for the audience were her name and origin... And by now, Trice knew that being against a local favorite heel was in all likelihood not going to mean an easy match for a rookie.

But there was something that surprised her a bit, and gave more than a glimmer of hope and confidence for the French Actress. While she did get a good amount of cheers, the boos were still overwhelming on top of them! Clearly this girl wasn't in good terms with the local crowds, whatever she had done... And while that idea could have been a bit unsettling by itself, to Patrice, it also meant that there still was a good chance that all her amicability with the crowds could have still paid off and made her the fan favorite tonight! That always provided a good premise for putting on a great show...

"Oh, she's there..." Trice suddenly realized, moving her sight away from the screens as Katsumi was making her way down the ramp. And she for sure wasn't lacking any swaying, glitter or theatrics either... If anything, she did appear to know how to put on an show as well, even if many weren't that pleased to see her. In fact, that appeared to be only a bonus to her.

Trice was actually so mesmerized by her new foe's actions, that she forgot to evaluate her body during all the theatrics. Only when the sunglassed punk started approaching her, did the French blonde remember to do a quick, evaluating scan from her head to her toes. The good new were that she sure wasn't a heavyweight... In fact, it appeared that the duo of the night were of very similar builds. But Trice couldn't still help noticing how toned Katsumi's body still appeared, hints of muscle evident in her thighs and legs as she was taking steps towards her, and the blonde was certain that she should not fall into the trap of underestimating her opponent.

And she really, truly was a heel. If there had been any doubt of that, it had all vanished the second the girl opened her mouth. But to Trice, it was exciting. It was invigorating. It was lighting her up even more than she already was, if that was even possible. This setup was perfect! The roles were clear. Her opponent was the mean local heel, and she got to be the rookie babyface sweetheart. And what was best - there wasn't an obvious conclusion in sight. This wasn't a script that you could tell right fromt he start. Both of them were going to bring a lot of emotion to the fight, and based on their rather similar sizes, Trice was sure that both of them had a good chance to win.

Katsumi didn't think so though, that was for sure. She was smug. She was sly. She was condescending. She was everything that a true heel was expected to be in her position.

For now, Patrice was just listening. She was letting Katsumi had her little speech, her little show. It only served well for the buildup...
Until the girl was right in front of her. Touching her hair, and... Deciding to make the most obvious attempt at an insult as possible to imagine.

Almost disappointing.

But hey, it for sure wasn't going to leave Trice speechless. And there was one thing that still irritated her, one thing that was still preventing the French Actress to see into Katsumi's soul... And she wasn't going to let that go unnoticed.

"Oh, you know, it isn't just me who thinks that... I'm pretty sure I heard most others here think like that too..." the blonde finally began responding to the heel to her mic. She then lifted her other hand up to touch Katsumi's hair, mimicking what she had just done to the blonde. "And I think it's a real shame that your hair must be natural as well... Since it doesn't sound like these people would like you to be a local." The blonde's own insults were gaining at least some subtle support from the crowds. That only encouraged her more, starting to whisper into Katsumi's ear, while "accidentally" also directing the mic close by her mouth as well. "But I think you should take those sunglasses off... You look quite silly!" she concluded letting out a subtle giggle in the end.

Katsumi rather enjoyed tying it all together with a blonde joke! It was fun for her, at any rate! Though she'd admit to herself that she's disappointed the blonde doesn't seem more effected by the tirade. That's the most fun part - making the other person squirm. Getting a rise out of them.

Eyebrows loft as her silky blueblack mane is palmed. Couple'a girls, bobbing each other's hair. Nothing odd about that, right?

"That's what's fun about bein' me. Not giving half'a shit what anyone thinks, while consistently breaking the mould." She completes the thought with a haughty whisk of her free hand through her hair, tossing the luxurious tresses over her shoulder. Turning away from Patrice at that point, she strides a few steps to the side. "I'm guessin' she has something against hitting a girl with glasses," she offers to the crowd, pointing with her free hand to the shades. "I suppose that's nice of her. So I'll be nice back. That okay, everyone? We good with that?"

The crowd responds with boos. They know nothing she's about to say or do is going to be nice.

As Katsumi's narrow shoulders shimmy and she slides the jacket off her slender frame, she continues. "I won't make her tap out!," she promises. The jacket is tossed outside the ring, and a quiet, severe-faced attendant catches it. She pinches the edge of the shades and tugs them down just enough to shoot Patrice a clear-eyed, teasing look from those vivid emeralds. "'Cuz making a French person submit is so cliche."

She has no idea what level of patriotism Patrice might have, but she's in a hurry to not linger in a vulnerable position. Theatrics and banter being absolutely fun for her, but playing into it has certainly left her opponent with an opening right at her back. So the shades are plucked off hurriedly, and tossed to the same severe-faced man, followed by dropping the microphone over the ring's edge.

Should she be left along, she'll finally move into her corner though; with an eager smile, gaze locked to Patrice's.

If Katsumi was disappointed for not getting much of a reaction to her tirade from the French Actress, the same could have been said for Patrice and her witty comebacks towards the obvious heel. Based on her experience, heel wrestles often loved to talk trash, lots of trash, but when someone would remark them back, their sense of humor would suddenly run out. Which usually was hilarious by itself... But the local heel seemed completely unaffected by all that, proceeding to steal the attention of the crowds once again with her own microphone. Well, Trice was probably dealing with a rather worthy opposite here... And that was good. It was always better when it wasn't just a one-girl-show.

But the boos were still very encouraging to the blonde... If not ominous as well, but whatever was going to happen, at least the crowds were going to be siding with her! Which only meant that Trice was in a great position to put on a great show for them, regardless of whether the night was ultimately going to hold triumph or peril for the babyface rookie.

The Punk Princess had gotten her chance for some banter for a while now, and Trice had already raised the mic back on her lips again. This was going to be easy to counter, yet again... "Oh, you for sure aren't going to make me tap out...", maybe? "Yeah, so cliché, that no one is ever capable of doing it any longer", instead? Or maybe... "I guess I'm a too bright star for you, if you still need shades for those eyes..."

Those eyes.

Damn. Those eyes...

Now that Patrice could finally see them, she was instantly charmed by them. Locking her gaze into Katsumi's, the actress forgot all that she had planned to say.

It was fascinating. The whole way Trice saw her opponent had just changed. The whole way she heard all of her words had just changed. What had just looked generic and silly had turned into stylish and shiny. What had just sounded smug and dumb, had now turned into witty and sexy.

This was puzzling, reeally puzzling for Patrice. Rarely had this happened to her before... But deep inside, this was just making her even more excited of tonight.

For a moment, Trice got a chance to gather her thoughts once again as she got to observe Katsumi discarding her microhone and sunglasses, providing the blonde an opportunity to finally state her final words. But instead of taunting, this time they were now expecting... If not outright challenging. "Well, show us what you've got... And we'll see if it'll be enough." Locking the gaze to Katsumi's once again, Trice proceeded to drop off her mic outside the ropes as well.

Briefly settling even deeper into her corner, the French Actress did not present a smile as wide as Katsumi did, but her expression was still at least as eager and excited as her foe's. The tension was just buliding up stronger and stronger, and the French blonde could feel her body yearning more and more for a proper, physical battle by the second. And she wasn't going to miss the chance of giving out a brave impression herself! Thus, the blonde started slowly making her way towards the center of the ring in anticipation of the official bell, all the while keeping her sights set on Katsumi's eyes and body.

No sudden attack. No opportunistic strikes. This French girl is either unflappable or really that much of a girlscout! That's good! And fun! Not as fun as getting a rise out of her would be, but conquering a goody-two-shoes type in front of the crowd always got a reaction. Does she notice the way Patrice is looking at her now? It's dimly there in the back of her mind, but she can't distinguish it from just eagerness to get the match underway, however. Not yet, at least. She just leans forward in her corner, hands propped to her knees, rear swaying side to side behind her not unlike a feline waiting to pounce...

The referee-girl looks between them, then cuts an arm through the air. *DING!*

And we're off!

Katsumi springs from her corner with alacrity, instantly seeking to lock up with the blonde in the center if she'll meet her! It's a tactically sound way to feel out her opponent, show off some of that better grappling training she's gotten, and finally make contact with the beautiful blonde rival. ..err, forget that last part!

Or don't. She can appreciate Patrice is a painfully pretty girl with a veritable purr of an accent, big beautiful eyes, slender but honed physique! It's rare she gets an opponent who ticks all those boxes! Not that she's been looking, or it's a priority! But she's had to come to terms with a few personal facets about herself lately. And looking forward to locking up with Patrice is just feeding into that...

It wasn't as if Katsumi appeared incredibly big or amazingly strong, or that she would have entered the ring looking like a full-blown dominatrix. It wasn't as if all her words would have given a geniously clever or shakingly scary impression of her either. But now that Patrice could finally see her eyes, she was really, really looking forward to face her. The Punk Princess had somehow turned into a confident predator with an enviable body, and surely a moveset that would fulfill the expectations for a mean heel - if the crowds' reaction was anything to judge upon.

The feeling for Trice was one that she had felt only a few times before - at times when she had reached a nearly-perfect chemistry with another actor. A complete mutual understanding of how the events were about to unfold. And even if that was something that was impossible to reach for a wrestling match, the French Actress could clearly tell that both of the fighters tonight knew exactly what their roles were, and both were adamant on putting on a great show.

The bell woke Trice up from her thoughts, her focus getting directed on what Katsumi was doing - and that wasn't a second too early as the Punk Princess sprang hungrily towards her. Trice had the option to yield, but she didn't. Instead, she tried to strengthen her footing, and as was evident by the Japanese girl's raised arms, accept the lock-up she was inviting her in!

The brave rookie clashed with her opponent, locking their hands with each other, and immediately having to take a couple of steps back due to Katsumi's momentum. But then Trice's efforts at pushing back began paying dividends, and the progress ground to a halt... Biting her lips, Trice was looking right into Katsumi's eyes, trying to resist with all her strength... But the blonde soon found out that it was rather consuming, and if they kept on doing this for a moment longer, it would probably become apparent that the relative veteran was holding the upper hand over the rookie to some degree in the strength department...

Katsumi could tell wheels were turning when her gaze met with Patrice's. But she just couldn't tell what. Much less why. But it's exciting. That look in the girl's sparkling blue eyes, the way she studied her - it was inviting, but not in a warm, huggy, let your guard down kind of way. It was like looking back at another predator species; a tarantula and scorpion running into each other. But even that seemed ill-fitting. She has no reason to think Patrice is malicious. Heck, she doesn't think of herself as malicious either. So it's fascinating. It puts every nerve in Katsumi's body on edge, craving that initial collision, to feel what the girl is bringing to the table, to see where her heart is.

The collision happens, and hands slap to skin with as much ferocity as she could've hoped. It's electric, feeling her warm skin under palms and fingers, her body tense and rigid in the struggle against her. She didn't intend to hold back on her - where's the fun in that? Patrice didn't buckle under the initial banter, but Katsumi can be patient and needle someone. Sometimes the payoff is sweeter when the target is desperate and despairing, creating a fantastic snowball effective.

Arms tremble as strength is plied against strength, Katsumi's svelte form flexing. Those vivid emerald eyes can't break away from Patrice's beautiful sapphires, but for the mild twinging from the contest. She feels Patrice surrender a step.. then another.. and suddenly, Katsumi attempts to pivot with the hold, to change things up while she maintains the upper hand! A sidestep, raising her arms and maneuvering in behind Patrice before bringing the arms down again, keeping their hands linked. In the end, Patrice may find herself waist waistlocked with the Punk Princess, her arms squeezing tight against the blonde's stomach while holding her hands securely, her hips pressed against the girl's rear, her breasts mashed unabashedly behind her back. Every heated breath beats against the nape of her neck.

"Bad luck, gettin' me for your debut~," she whispers to the blonde. "I've got somethin' to prove to all these people, and I'm gonna do it all over your skinny," she cinches up tighter around her belly, "broken body!"

Patrice was all about putting on a show - but this lock-up was everything but just a show. This was dead serious. This was the moment, the way that the duo of combatants of the night got the first taste of each other, and how that first taste was going to pan out was likely to mean a lot. In a sense, it was all about giving out the physical first impression of each other, and neither one of the women in the ring wanted to let themselves, or the crowds down.

Trice was pushing as hard as she could, but Katsumi certainly wasn't a weak girl. In fact, despite her best efforts, the blonde began losing ground... But not as much that she couldn't still have seen a glimmer of hope! If she just got her next footing even stronger in place...

Maybe it was Katsumi reading her thoughts from Patrice's eyes, maybe it was a sheer coincidence - or maybe an outright malicious plan, but just as Trice was ramping up her efforts one more time, the Punk Princess decided to take a sidestep. Pivoting around when her opponent was not expecting it, the tables were suddenly turned, and the French blonde found herself, and her arms, tightly in the Japanese punk's grip! "H-hey! You gave up alrea-..."

Trice's question, or rather complaint, was suddenly cut short by whispers into her ear. Whispers, that not only answered her unfinished question, but also many of the things that the lock-up was even supposed to reveal in the first place. Fine, the Japanese girl was probably a bit stronger than Trice, that had become clear... But her whispers also undeniably evidenced, that she wasn't here just for a good fight. She was here to put on a show, and was determined to use the beautiful rookie as her tool for just that.

If Trice had been a normal fighter, she probably would have protested the words whispered to her ear. But for the French Actress, they were ones that deep inside, she needed to hear. They were the key to unlocking the answer to her role tonight, and to the script that was now writing itself inside her head.

As Katsumi's grip around her waist tightened, Trice's body began bending further and further forward. She was squirming, wriggling and jolting her body in an effort to demonstrate resistance, but the French blonde knew that she was stuck - and that the more she would get to spend time in this hold and position, the more strength she was going to drain now already in these early stages of this match.

The grip around Patrice's midsection is academic on a number of fronts. The most obvious, of course, is the squeezing effect. Wearing out the core is one of the Punk Princess's preferred strategies. Without the core, everything else breaks down. Hard to support breathing, hard to muster upper-body strength, even kicking out requires abdominal flexing! So the gut - that's Katsumi's target of choice. And starting out with a waistlock and squeezing on Patrice's midsection is the way to go!

Second, it gives her a little insight into what the blonde can do. How calm she can remain, how focused she can be, what her composure is like, what countermeasures she may employ. It's a relatively safe position to feel out her opponent. But not only in the mental sense, but in the physical. Squeezing on the blonde's abdominal region gives a clear indication of what kind of abdominal region she's working with, gauging her fitness level, her durability. Soft and squishy? Easy to tear apart. Hard and chiseled? Not so easy... but terribly fun to work over.

Lastly- wait, no. There is no lastly. It's only the first two points! There is no other reason Katsumi might indulge in a position like this, hugging the extremely pretty girl from behind, her fingers pressing into the smooth skin of her stomach, her hips docked tight against her rear the more she bends forward, breasts pressed behind her shoulders tight enough that the thump of her heart could surely be felt in the other girl. The thrill is purely driven by the effort to subdue her foe in front of a crowd, nothing more!

Okay, maybe a little more. You don't understand, Patrice is so pretty. And she happens to like the aforementioned skinny body. Preferably not broken. She intends to win, but not by injuring the girl. The audience doesn't need to know that. Patrice definitely doesn't need to know that.

As the girl bucks in her grip, Katsumi squeezes harder, her forearms biting into her waist. "Nnh..!" Abruptly, she pulls on the captive stomach to heft her high into the air, pushing off with her boots to perform a quick hop with her and ultimately attempt to drive the girl's head into the mat behind her in a jumping German suplex. No bridging involved here! As soon as the slam connects, she intends to release her!
