Current and Future Events - LAW Events that myself and/or mods are committed to delivering. Events users post in Event Ideas and Event Requests are moved here when a user's event is approved and taken up by a mod
Event Requests - This is freeform. Post/write whatever it is you want to see. Discuss in each thread to show you're interested in a particular. If user demand is sufficient, I'll try to work with you to see if we can make it happen
Event Ideas - For more fleshed-out event ideas that you'd like to either coordinate or coordinate with help from myself or another mod. Here I'm expecting full details on what your event is and how you want it to work. There's no hard template, but if you have a fully-formed idea for a LAW Event that you'd like to see made reality, explain it in full here. In this section, every user that wants to be included in this possible event must comment on your initial post.
Tell me about the structure of the event (tourney/supercard/battle royale/whatever else).
Tell me about the scope of the event
- How many users/characters will be participating?
- How long do you expect the whole event to take in irl time?
Finally, tell me about your contingencies for trying to make the event an overall success.
- Does your whole event fall flat and come to a halt if just one person stops posting? What do you do if that happens?
- How do you make sure can continue if you hit a snag?
This will be my formal process for event creation. In the past, people have often messaged me directly or thrown ideas back and forth in the discord server. By doing things this way, I can have a clear idea of what users want and so that I can encourage people to take the who want to take the reigns to try. Even if you're not confident, if I approve your event, please rest assured that I will support you where I can.
