'The Deadly Owl' MeiMei Vs. Karbon Mannering - Flying with clipped wings

It seems as though the higher ups of LAW is viewing Karbon as sort of the "gatekeeper". Now, any new face entering the glorious ring of LAW always seemed to be on the opposite side of the knight as their first opponent. At first, Karbon was kind of grateful for this role, getting to pick at the bones of the rookies who walk through the doors, but now, it just feels like this is all he is good for. Frustration started to build up in his mind as well when he would lose to some of these girls too, "Is this all I'm really good for?" He muttered to himself backstage. His mind was pretty far away from his upcoming match right now, but the stagehand's voice would bring him back to reality as he shouted to him that it was time for his entrance.

Instead of his egotistical attitude he usually had before his matches, all Karbon had now was just a sigh. He lifted himself off of the crates backstage and got onto his feet and looked down at his open hands, "Am I just not cut out for this?" A bit of self doubt was now creeping in. Just as he was making his way towards the curtain though, a spark would ignite in his mind as it shouted at him to wake up! "No... I'm more than just cut out for this... I'm going to bring this whole company to it's knees with my ability!" All of the self doubt and pity would erase itself and be replaced with anger and hatred. He needed to tell someone, anyone about this and he planned to do just that!

Karbon's entrance music hit and the lights would go out, but the knight wasn't going for his normal routine down the ramp way. No, instead, he pretty much stomped his way to the ring and demanded a microphone. When he got it, he would put it up to his lips and say, "Cut my damn music!" Just then, the crowd would go into a quick hush as the lights would go back to normal and his music would slowly fade away, "For far too long, I've been looked down upon in this company. Being treated like a stepping stone for each newcomer that enters through the doors here at LAW. Once again, I'm put into a match against a rookie who doesn't even hold a candle to the raw talent that I possess." The crowd started to murmur about them as this was the first time they've ever seen Karbon this heated, "Sure, I've gotten some matches with veterans here and there, but they were the exception rather than the rule. I deserve to be treated better around here! Hell, I haven't even gotten a title shot yet!" He then climbed upon the turnbuckle, "Now, I have to face this no name girl that has as much ring time as I do shower time in the wrestling business. It's a mockery I tell you! Once I'm done dispatching my opponent, I'm going to let the head of the company know about this crap!" The knight would then slam down the microphone as it bounced off the mat and landed on the outside of the ring.

Once his speech ended and the whole place remained silent for seconds, an owl sound was heard in the scenario and the crowd went crazy as the whole arena turned with the themed aesthetic of an abandoned and forgotten town, with creepy lights and that town as a titantron, among other details, while her entrance song started playing. The ramp started being covered by a curtain smoke and through it, MeiMei appears showing up herself on the top of the ramp, with the face a bit down, but it can't be seen due to a black cape she was wearing, with a hoodie that covered her face and expression.

"From the Abandoned Town of Civilization... She is the Deadly Owl... MEIMEI!!" the announcer said while MeiMei kept walking on the ramp towards the ring. Later she walks over the metal steps and goes to the apron, getting inside over the second rope, still with the face down for few seconds, until she raised it to look at him with her scary red eyes after taking the hoodie off.

As the whole arena was turning back to normal, the music was fading away, while Mumei was walking backwards to her corner and taking her cape off, closing her eyes for few seconds and turns them back into her natural colour, yellow.

As MeiMei's theme and lights played throughout the arena, Karbon didn't look to pleased as he watched her make her way down the ramp. Usually, he liked to see what kind of opponent he was going up against, but this time, he was just not in the mood for it. She made her way down the smoky ramp and to the metal stairs where MeiMei then went through the second rope and looked up at him. To the knight's surprise, her eyes were dark red... Almost like blood. "From what hell did you crawl out from?" He would say over to her. He then watched as she went over towards the opposite corner and took off her cape. When she turned back around, her eyes were now yellow, "Color changing contacts? That's new."

Well, one good thing MeiMei's entrance did for Karbon though was calm him down a bit. "Alright 'Deadly Owl', let's get your beating over with quickly." The knight said as he cracked his knuckles and made his way towards the center of the ring. The referee would meet him there and motion for MeiMei to come over as well. He then began to explain the rules of the match. It was your basic one on one match with no special rules and the referee asked Karbon if he understood, "Yeah yeah... Whatever." He replied back. The referee would then ask MeiMei the same question.

After the referee asked the same to her, MeiMei just nodded in agreement, keeping the same serious expression and walked backwards to her corner before the match starts. She didn't seemed scared by his words, neither by his knuckles being cracked.

"RING THE BELL!" the referee ordered, and the bell sounded, indicating that the match has begun.

MeiMei just walked in circles around him with the same expression, then she would walk closer to look at him, then she made a gesture with her thumb on her throat as an advice for the Knight, something that he might not take seriously.

With them both now being ready, the referee would signal for the bell to ring and Karbon made his way to the center. As he did, MeiMei would follow suit, but instead of locking up, she would just start to circle around him, "Uhhh... what are you doing?" He would ask her a bit confused. The expressions on her face didn't change at all, leading to more confusion. Then, she walked closer to him and made a rude gesture and Karbon would react by saying, "Oh that's cute... Am I supposed to be scared or something?" He laughed a little bit.

Not wanted to drag this on any longer and since MeiMei was so close, Karbon would grapple her and get her in a coller-and-elbow tie up. He looked to see just how strong this girl was and if he had enough strength to man handle her from the get go. If he did have enough strength, the knight would look to work his way inwards so that he could hit a front face lock and send her up and over him to deal the first blow.

MeiMei just heard his questions but didn't answer to them while keeping the same expression without even blinking before the initial test of strength.

Once the rang bell, she would be grabbed by him but also grappling in that collar elbow tie up, in which she seemed to show strength disadvantage between both, and she ended against the corner by her opponent, still struggling and trying to gain some space.

MeiMei knew who was she trying to mess with but didn't cared at all about it, yet somehow she stopped struggling and raised both arms in a visible spot for the ref to see them, then the ref ordered at the Knight to stop, which might cause a little argue between both.

Driving his opponent into the turnbuckle behind her, Karbon was looking to gain the advantage early in the match. Instead of fighting back against him though, he watched as MeiMei would raise her arms upwards, indicating that she is breaking the hold as she was now in the ropes. The referee directed Karbon to break the hold and he said, "What? Taking the coward's way out already?" But, the knight didn't want to get disqualified right off the get go, so he slowly started to raise his arms to break the hold as well.

Karbon then began to slowly back off from MeiMei as he looked at the referee and then back at MeiMei. A smile appeared across his face as he quickly rose his right foot and kicked her right in the gut in a low ball move! The crowd would instantly boo at the unsportsmanlike behavior coming from Karbon and the referee started to push the knight away forcefully. The smile was still plastered on his face as he looked over the referee's shoulder at the deadly owl.

She was getting pushed against the corner, or that's how it looked like. After she raised both arms, she got mocked by Karbon who didn't had idea of who she was.

After he got away, MeiMei got kicked in the gut with that kick, getting forced to cover that spot until the referee separated both of them. The owl girl was seemingly hurt in that corner as the ref argues a bit with Karbon.

Once he would come closer, Mumei grabs him by the neck with both hands and throws him against the corner, then she throws fast strikes at him with both fists closed, and when he would be with the guard off, she throws an uppercut to the jaw, taking him down.

Karbon looked to continue his advantage against her when he suddenly felt her hands grab him by the neck and throw him right into the corner! The tides were now turned as she began to pummel him with fast strikes. The knight tried to cover himself up to lessen the pain of the blows and the referee would begin to both count for MeiMei to let him out of the corner and to open up her closed fists. Just when the referee got to four, the deadly owl would then hit him with a staggering uppercut to the jaw!

This would force Karbon to fly off his feet a little bit before he came crashing down in a seated position against the turnbuckle. He was clearly dazed by the uppercut and had no way to defend himself from MeiMei's next attack.

After the uppercut strike on his jaw, MeiMei would step back but not so much far from Karbon, who was actually dazed.

MeiMei would see him in a sitting position from the middle of the ring, then she would run at him and going for a knee shot to the right side of his face.
