Strategy: Though she may seem like a creampuff, Laura actually has a fairly solid background in combat sports, having practiced various forms of martial arts throughout her childhood following in her big sister’s footsteps. She's not afraid to get catty in fights and often uses illegal attacks, hiding behind a mask of innocent ditzyness to cover herself, though smart opponents would eventually catch on to her actions. Throws, suplexes, and takedowns are a big part of Barbara’s fighting style. She is quite strong for her size and isn’t afraid to use it against her opponents. Her strength allows her to bully some smaller fighters, and stand reasonably toe-to-toe against bigger fighters.

Barbara does not use aerial attacks. The best she can do is jump up and do a butt drop on an opponent’s face. Does that even count?

Barbara is quite good at counters in technical grappling fights, but against other types of moves she usually has to block, dodge, or tough her way through the hit.

Can be executed either against a standing opponent, where Barbara takes off at a run at them before smashing into them butt first, or against a downed opponent where Barbara performs a butt drop right into their face!
Sparkling Idol’s Loving Embrace: Barbara’s preferred submission finisher, an octopus hold that is executed against a standing opponent. A variation can also be performed on an opponent on the ground.
Sparkling Idol’s Leg Spread!: After trapping her opponent in a grapevine, Barbara will spread her legs until both her and her opponent are doing the splits! To Barbara, this is not a problem as she is quite flexible from lots of dance training. But can her opponent take this kind of punishment for a long time?
Sparking Idol’s Humiliation Smother!: Barbara lifts her opponent in a Romero Special ceiling hold, then drops them down and traps their face in between her boobs, holding them in place until she smothers them out!
Personality:
Barbara’s idol persona comes off as the sweetest person most of the time, all smiles and complement, flattering her opponents and maintaining every courtesy. Energetic and effervescent, she loves to meet new people and make new friends, particularly with girls that she finds cute. To most, she comes off as the sweetest, cutest person around.
This doesn’t exactly stop when she comes into the ring, as she keeps that same demeanor. The only difference is that her attitude becomes a stark contrast to her actions, as she takes sadistic glee in picking apart her opponents, giggling while they scream, ignoring their pleas, ripping pleasure from their bodies. She treats her opponents like toys for her amusement, and doesn’t seem to have any real consideration for how she leaves them after the match - it’s all about her pleasure, her desires, her fun, and if her foes don’t have the strength to keep her from getting what she wants, well, that’s their fault, isn’t it?

Background
As the second daughter, Laura grew up in the shadow of her big sister. Her older sister was quite the capable girl, smart, athletic, popular and beloved. While they had a good relationship as they grew up, Laura just couldn’t help but feel like she was constantly being compared and coming up short. Her parents were big into athletics and got the both of them involved, but as Laura was smaller and of a more timid nature, she could not excel in the same way her sister did.Things only got more awkward when her parents separated from one another. Her sister went with her mom, and she with her dad. Though they still lived in the same neighborhood, went to the same schools, and saw each other quite often, there was a gulf of awkwardness that only widened over time.
Laura’s father was a religious man, and after he got custody of Laura, he began getting her more and more involved with the Church. As part of the choir, Laura discovered she had quite a talent for singing. But she had no passion for church songs, preferring instead to enjoy K-pop and J-pop music, stuff her father really did not like. That strained her relationship with her father, making her home life more and more clouded. Though she still put on a strong face and kept on being bright and happy, she could feel a darkness clouding the joy she once felt in her life
Once she reached the age of majority, she decided to take a trip away from everything. Her father believed she was going on a missionary trip to Japan, but that was far from the case. Instead, Laura left to completely re-invent herself. She had been speaking online with some talent scouts from an entertainment company, who convinced her to try out to become an idol. Laura wasn’t confident she had what it took, but they knew what they were looking for. With her innocent demeanor, a beautiful voice, good looks and athleticism Laura seemed perfect. And she was, making it through her tryouts with little trouble. With the idol agency, Laura recreated herself as the Sparking Idol Barbara.
This re-invention was just the beginning of her journey though, as Barbara found that with her newfound celebrity she had people fawning over her every move, willing to throw themselves down to meet her every demand. But there were also significant demands from her management regarding behavior, not only severely limiting her freedom of expression, but also dialing up her own feelings of inadequacy. All of this created quite a messy mental state within Barbara's head. The longer she stayed an idol, the more manipulative, impatient, and neurotic she became. Finally there was a breaking point where she got into a nasty fight with one of her fellow idols, resulting in her being forced to "graduate" from the group.
After that Laura felt lost, as she had screwed up her chance to live her dream. With no income and her visa expiring, there was a good chance she would be forced to leave Japan to go back to the home she had grown to despise. But when one door closes, a second one opens. She was approached by a LAW promoter, who offered her an opportunity to continue to be an idol, but one that fought in the LAW rings. With few other options, Laura agreed, becoming the idol Barbara again. This time though, she was freed from her management and most of the idol expectations. With a bit of a chip on her shoulder, Barbara joined LAW, eager to work through all her problems by being dominant in the ring!
