Punie grunts as she would know when you’re trapped in a submission hold time just slows down. Part of her was thinking on submitting but she felt she was close to winning the round. She needed to tie it up or she’ll lose the whole match.

Nikki kept holding and holding, but that wasn't what she waiting to be doing. She wanted to force Punie's submission. Nikki knew that the clock could run out on her at any moment. It already could have for all that she knew. The only thing that Nikki had to do was keep going until Punie gave up or the ref told her to stop.

The ref's watch hit 1:51. The round was Punie's. Though per the rules of the match, the ref wouldn't interfere until Punie submitting or reached five minutes.

Punie grunts as she felt her legs strained and hurt so she taps out not wanting her finisher weakened.

Nikki finally got her submission on Punie, her figure eight leglock finally making her give up. But she couldn't celebrate yet. She didn't know how long that it had taken. It had taken 2 minutes, Nikki had lost the round. It was tied again. "Dangit!" Nikki groaned upon realizing that she had lost.

Punie smiled seeing she lasted more than enough and we were back in a tie ballgame. Both women then took their rest period so they could strategize.

Welp, it was tied. Nikki just had to deal with that now. Now the question was what hold would she use to try to bring the match back. Nikki pondered this for awhile before finally coming up with the answer that she knew would be able to win her the round. With the break period coming to a close, Nikki would meet Punie in the center of the ring again. "Down on your back," said Nikki. "I have a lead to reclaim."

Punie nods and lies down on her back wondering what Nikki had planned for her this time.

Nikki would make her move once Punie had laid down. She would grab Punie's leg and pull it back as she laid down herself, next to Punie. Nikki would then wrap her legs around Punie's thigh to hold it in place, then began to wrench her knee back in a reverse kneebar. "I won't let you win this round Punie."

Punie grunts as Nikki wrenched her knee. “I can tell!” She said in response to Nikki’s declaration that she wouldn’t let her win another round. They’ve been putting each other through hell.

The way Nikki's submission had her and Punie positioned, they were laying right next to each other. Nikki just had to turn her head to the side and she could see the obvious pain that her opponent was in. This motivated Nikki on to push her further, to make that face break into a cry of submission. "I'm not sure you can, let me make sure!" Nikki said as she bent Punie's knee more.
