Alaina was still on the mat shaking her head. At the event she helped create and pushed for she blew it. Her reign was done. Alaina was still down on the mat when Ambre approached. Alaina accepted the help up, feeling a bit embarrassed at needing the help. Alaina was helped up and shook Ambre's hand keeping hold to raise Ambre's hand high. "Congrats champ, I know you are going to be a good one and represent LAW well." Alaina said as she held Ambre's hand high. "Good luck."

Alaina let go, clapping her hands as she backed away trying her best not to hobble or look hunched over... but failing to do so. She couldn't hide how hurt she was. She exit the ring and walked silently to the back. She was 50. Her kids were getting older. Her reign was done. She had a lot to figure out but the writing was on the wall clear for anyone who wanted to read it:

Alaina's career wasn't done just yet, but the end was coming and while not immediate it was now in sight.

Ambre helped the Amazon up and smiled sheepishly. It was a bit of a strange situation to be called "champ" by one of her idols... It was like the first time she'd been called "madam"! Plus, she had just defeated one of her idols, an incredibly strong, respectful woman, undefeated for a long time, and admired by all... She had just beaten that kind of person, and it seemed surreal.

"I... I'll do my best!... I promise..!"

Ambre let the former champion leave, remaining alone in the ring. She didn't have the time or the energy to think about what to do next. As the cage was being raised, the referee approached the new champion to give her her trophy, the heavyweight championship belt. The Black Pearl had stars in her eyes; her dream had come true...

But she didn't feel ready to wear the belt around her waist. Ambre preferred to raise it with both hands above her head and displayed a broad smile and twinkling eyes for the cameras that immortalized this moment.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for her.
