Why spend millions of dollars on building new spaceships if you can just take a lightweight and use the most powerful finisher of the Golden Dragon against them? This was the question many viewers were asking at the moment when the champion first threw her opponent into the air, and then raised her knees as a landing place for GASTER's back. Viewers with strong imagination managed to predict how this fall would end for Clara, but the reality turned out to be even more colorful than even the wildest imagination.
The British woman's body literally bounced off Astrid's knees. Clara was back in the air, which caused some viewers to cover their faces with their hands as they could not imagine how painful it had become for the contender's spine. It seemed like the entire arena was silent for a split second, and then GASTER fell right into the open coffin. A heart-rending roar filled the entire arena, because even the most picky critic could not deny the beauty of this unusual moment.
"Pha... Phaa... phaaaa..."
If the Golden Dragon had anything left in her reserves, she gave it away for this move. As soon as Clara bumped into her knees, the blonde's legs fell down. She continued to lie on the concrete floor and gasp for air. Looking at her wounded body, many wondered if she had really won. Fair. Why? Because even though Clara ended up in a coffin and was almost certainly unconscious, even Astrid herself did not think that the match was over. The match will be over only when she slams the lid of the coffin and not a second earlier.
"By the Gods..." she muttered, barely moving her lips, after turning her head to the side and making sure that the contender really landed in the coffin.
The adrenaline had finally left her veins and now the Golden Dragon felt like she'd been run over by a fucking truck. Feeling pain in every cell of her body, she didn't want to move at all. At that moment, she just wanted to lie on that concrete floor for a minute or two. Perhaps many people in her place would not deny themselves such a simple desire. Astrid was not going to give in to this temptation. Knowing what Clara was capable of, she had no right to waste even a second on rest. She will have the opportunity to rest after the bell rings. But she still had to earn this opportunity.
Gritting her teeth to hold back painful groans, the champion rolled over on her stomach and put her palms near her head. When she strained her arms, they shook violently, which led some to believe that she did not have the strength left to take an upright position at all. This match was indeed very exhausting for her, but perhaps that was the reason why she couldn't stop now that victory was so close. With an effort, Astrid got up first on all fours and then on one knee.
Pushing back her blood-covered golden hair, the Golden Dragon allowed herself to take a deep breath. Even though she was exhausted, she felt an incredible warmth in her chest. Glancing at Clara, she also allowed herself to smile because this woman really turned out to be a worthy rival.
The descendant of the great Vikings was not going to pretend that she sympathized with her rival. They both came here for the same purpose. And although Astrid sincerely believed that her opponent's skills and willpower deserved the highest praise, she still believed that GASTER had no place among the champions. Speaking of which...
Before heading towards the coffin, the blonde stretched her hand somewhere to the side. This caused a certain wave of misunderstanding among the audience, because now there was not a situation to waste time. Yes, it was true. But Astrid still considered herself a person of her word. And so she picked up her rival's mask from the floor. Looking down at the essential attribute of GASTER, the Norwegian woman could seem saddened to someone for just a moment. What was in her soul at that moment? She wasn't going to give an answer to that question. Instead, she shook her head slightly, and then got to her feet.
She staggered straight towards Clara. With each step she took, the noise in the arena grew louder and louder. The wounds on the champion's body, bloodstains, multiple bruises and a torn suit served as a reminder of what the contender had put her through in this match. Therefore, when Astrid stopped in front of the coffin, she knelt down and looked at the brunette with a heavy but respectful gaze.
"Clara deserves to go to Valhalla..." she said softly, then placed the mask on the British woman's chest. "But GASTER and her sins must go back to the shadows..."
With these words, the Golden Dragon intended to put her hand on the coffin lid and then slam it shut, thereby fulfilling the promise she had made to her rival. In this match, she made sure that Clara is a great fighter with the true potential to be on top of LAW. However, GASTER and the darkness in her heart were dragging the British woman to the bottom like a stone. That is why Astrid intended to close in the coffin not Clara herself, but only her alter ego. It was an attempt by the Golden Dragon to let the contender understand who she really needs to be in order to make her dreams and desires come true. But whether Clara will understand and accept it depends only on her.
