The kiss is reluctantly broken, and his head lifts to look down at her. It's crazy how fast this has gone, isn't it? Is he fanboying at finding a sweet-natured female wrestler? Is it possible to fanboy at someone for fangirling? His psychology is all jumbled, and it externalizes in a small grin. In the end, who cares?

"This Sunday," he repeats. He then swallows. "Unless they lynch me for, uh, being... different... I'll be there."

Oh god, did he just word it like that? As though they were racist or something?

"I-I mean for my chromosomes."

Try again.

"For being a dude."

His cheeks tint a faint rosy hue at his verbal stumbling. "Sorry. Kind'a lightheaded, I think." His head cants to her again with the express purpose of touching noses. "Can't imagine why~." His head lifts again, and he clears his throat. "If they won't let me in the backstage area, count on me being in the stadium."

Kaeda was at first a bit confused as the usually confident Domino began to stumble on his words. Being diffrent? Granted some people didn't appericate "foreigners" from America coming into the Japanese wrestling scene, but she was sure it wasn't to the point of lynching! Chromosomes? Oh... being a dude. Kaeda smiled and ran a hand through the raven black hair of Drake; it was fun to see Drake's more bashful side shine through.

"Your best bet would be to try and sneak in after the show, most security and ring crew people are either heading home or helping take stuff down at that time. Most of the girls who get all uptight about cute guys like you in the locker room are gone by that point too," Kaeda said as she continued to look into his eyes, "I'll keep an eye out for you in the crowd,"

Another thought then ran through the mind of the sweet girl, "When's your next show going to be? It might be easier for me to sneak backstage than you," she playfully teased

That confused look on her face, while adorable, had only made him more awkward. Thankfully everything seems squared away now!

So her federation is fairly exclusive. He gets it - they don't want perverts lurking around their lockers. He can respect their position in that, even if it kind've gets in the way of giving her a direct pep-talk before her first match. But if he can sneak in after the show, that'll be almost as good. If she loses her match, she'll just have to keep a stiff upper-lip until he's there for support. If she wins, she'll have to contain her enthusiasm until he's there to celebrate! ..Actually, he won't be upset if she celebrates ahead of time. She'll have earned that.

The question about his next show, however, gets a perky smile. "Couple days." After a beat, the smile fades. "You know. Uh.. mid-week card." ...when there's a smaller crowd and nothing substantial is on the line. "But, uh, they're a lot more lax about people being backstage, as long as there's someone to escort'em around. I can do that for ya. Get security to show you to the stadium for my match, bring ya back after. Sound good?"

Kaeda could tell Domino was a bit upset at being regulated to a mid week card, a "C-Show" as she heard some of her fellow ladies backstage call it, but she figured it was best not to go too deep into it at the moment. This was only their first meeting, that kind of deep discussion could come when they learned about each other more. She was, however, happy to hear Domino offer to get security to show her around the stadium, giving her an opportunity to see Domino before and after his match!

"You bet it does!" Fukuda said with a grin, "I'll be cheering you on in the crowd for sure!"

"And what more could a guy want than a really cute girl going crazy for'em?," he asks. His arms tighten again, gentler than before to give only an affectionate squeeze. They've known each other for literally less than a day, yet here they are. That thought keeps banging around in his head.

"Should I let you up now..?," he asks, glancing to either side. They're still alone. Is it that late? Or are they that lucky? He might err on the latter, given how nicely things have gone insofar.

Kaeda nuzzled her head into Domino's shoulder as he gave her an affectionate squeeze. It was quite remarkable how close they had gotten in just one meeting. Maybe it was a sign of greater things to come, or maybe adrenaline and the underlying sensual nature of wrestling, especially when it was mixed, was just working its magic.

"Depends, any idea of the time?" Kaeda asked. She didn't want this moment to end, but she made a plan before she came to the gym to leave when it began to get dark and head back home for some much needed rest.

"You know I always get in the ring wearing my huge Flava Flav timepiece," jokes Drake. The short answer: no. He has no idea what time it is. But it sounds like they need to disengage and get a handle on their situation. Her nuzzling isn't helping things, though.

A puffy sigh washes against the girl's shoulder. His arms loosen from around her waist, and he pulls himself up to his feet. Hands reach down to her, offering to help her to her feet. "Not saying that I'm in any kind of rush for you to run home, but let's make sure we have each other's number. Don't wanna lose track of ya."

Kaeda giggled at Drake's joke. She wasn't sure what a "Flava Flav" was, but the way he said it combined with how absurd their situation was when one thought about it was funny.

Kaeda then let out a sigh as Drake released his embrace, standing up and offering a hand to pull Kaeda to her feet. She wouldn't have mind being on the mat with Drake for a long, long time, but they both had important stuff to get to.

"Sure thing! I think my phone is in my sport's jacket," Kaeda said as she grabbed on to his hand, pushing back against the ground with her free hand to make pulling her up easier.

Without releasing her hand, Drake guides the girl to the edge of the ring. There, he'll sit astride the middle rope and push the top rope upwards, offering her a gap to more easily get through. It isn't just for a sake of etiquette, but also because, well, she might be a little loopy after their match. He'd hate for her to fall or something.

"This has been, uh... different, Kaeda," he offers before following her out of the ring - assuming she did so! "I didn't come to the gym tonight expecting to meet a girl like you, wrestle a girl like you, and wind up kissing a girl like you. Did you?"

Beat.

"I mean for a guy. Not a girl like me." He blinks owlishly. "Because I'm not a girl." Blink. "Obviously." He internally kicks himself. He feels like he has these moments where he's living up to her expectations of him, those big, starry eyes of hers the very definition of adorably endearing, and then he says something rock-retarded. Oi.

Ultimately, he makes his way to his jacket for his own cellphone!

Kaeda's head was still spinning a little after that flipping piledriver, so having Drake lead her to the edge of the ring and hold the ropes open for her was greatly appreciated!

Kaeda exited the ring, a bit slow due to not wanting to loose her footing in her semi-dazed state, and headed over to her stuff to get her phone, giggling as she heard Drake fumble over his own words a little. She knew he was probably a bit embarrassed, but she thought it was cute.

"I couldn't have imagined a night like this even in my dreams! It was fun, even if I spent half of tonight getting beat up," she said with a genuine smile as she switched on her smart phone, the time displaying on its lock screen.

"Oh wow, 8:15. Time flies..." she said as she looked toward Drake, ready to exchange numbers with the hot model.
