After tapping out, Wyvern just let herself sink down against the canvas, her exhaustion and pain winning out over any desire to keep herself in a more dignified position. She didn't even have the energy to wince as her battered leg dropped against the canvas after Alizeh let go of the Emerald Twilight, as the sharp pain of the impact intermingled with the relief from no longer having the limb hyperextended in the painfully effective hold. She felt rather than saw Alizeh drop to the canvas next to her, gasping to refill her lungs, and took a small degree of satisfaction from knowing that she had pushed her first opponent to the absolute limits, even if she hadn't managed to pull out a win.

Damn. I guess this really is the big leagues. For a moment Wyvern's thoughts were wistful, even disappointed, but the match had been everything she'd wanted and more out of her competitors. This was what she had been missing back home. She turned her head down, pressing her forehead against the canvas to hide the small, genuine smile creeping over her face. This is going to be so much fun. As Alizeh stood up for the referee to formally recognize her win, Wyvern composed herself and began painfully rolling away towards the ropes. She wasn't the type of person to intrude on another's spotlight if she could avoid it, and she didn't begrudge Alizeh the desire to celebrate her win. She'd certainly earned it.

Thus, when Alizeh returns to her fallen opponent, she finds that Wyvern has already flipped herself onto her back, and is in the middle of winding up for another rotation when her eyes meet Alizeh's. There's a brief flash of confusion across her face, but she quickly recovers herself and stares at the offered hand for a few moments. Rather than taking it immediately, Wyvern sits up. "Tssssss..." With a hiss of pain, Wyvern manages to get her good leg under her and force herself up to her feet, avoid putting any pressure on the leg Alizeh had previously brutalized. Still eyeing the offered hand somewhat hesitantly, the debuting wrestler ultimately takes it, giving a single, firm handshake, but not immediately letting go. "Don't think this is over." Between her blank tone and severe resting bitch face, the words might seem like a threat. Behind her eyes, though, there's a complete lack of malice. Respect, satisfaction...and maybe a hint of anticipation.
Mostly unable to post. Hoping to return fully by the end of the year.

The match had been exhausting and damaging for both women, but Alizeh had made it through and ended it. Taking her opponent down and managing to win with a submission no less. Alizeh hadn't honestly expected Wyvern to do so, especially after managing to kick out of her high flying finisher, but it was a welcome result that Alizeh would take. After all a win by submission was about as definitive as it can get. Now that it was all over however... Alizeh wanted to see what Wyvern would do when Alizeh held her hand out to the girl once again. First time she did so Wyvern slapped her hand away, but now they had fought, hurt each other, slammed one another, and Alizeh could tell, there was at least an inkling of respect between them now.

So holding her hand out to the woman Alizeh waited to see how she would react. It was quite possible Wyvern would slap her hand away, and Alizeh wouldn't have necessarily blamed her. But Alizeh did hope she would take the hand. Speaking of... ' Damn she managed to sit up all on her own. Not bad.' Alizeh thought to herself as she looked down at the girl, waiting to see what she would do. For a moment, a brief moment it appeared as if the girl wasn't going to take Alizeh's hand. Rather than do so to get up the dark haired girl forced herself up into a standing position, staring into Alizeh's eyes with intent the whole time as she did so.

'...Ok then.' Alizeh thought, about to put her hand down when suddenly, Wyvern reached out and took her hand, giving a single but firm shake. Smiling slightly as Wyvern accepted the offer of respect Alizeh would nod appreciatively to the woman. Even when she said her piece, which could have sounded like a threat to anyone else, it just came across as the truth to Alizeh. "Not for a second." Alizeh said, pulling Wyvern in closer by the hand so their head would press against one another. "Anytime, anywhere, I'm ready when you are." She said before turning and raising Wyvern's arm along with her own to a big pop from the fans at the two being seemingly ok with each other after such a brutal and hard fought contest!

Winner via Submission: Alizeh Midori
