L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Gloria was just as shocked as Danny was at this point. In truth Gloria found herself barely able to move a muscle, it felt as if she done everything, she could've possibly done and yet it still wasn't enough. Every inch of her body was an aching mess, her shoulders were stiff feeling like weights holding her neck down, her arms and legs were sore having bruises marked all over, and her back felt as if it was on fire from constantly being slammed as her sides felt deflated from the air that was sucked out of her. Truthfully in that moment Gloria laid there thinking this was the end, she worked for years to improve but still came up short in the end as she heard the referee begin to count her out for a pinfall. "No....Not....Yet...." Gloria muttered in exhausted pants of air as this was her last chance to kick out or else she'll lose! Using everything, she had Gloria went to thrust her leg out for a kick out and it worked!!! Everyone gasped as Gloria's leg finally came down hard on the canvas as she panted out of exhaustion.

Gloria just barely escaped defeat but wasn't out of the woods just yet. As Gloria continued to lay down trying to gather up enough strength, she felt something pulling at her arm and instantly she knew what it meant as she opened her eyes, there was Danny tugging at her. "Get off!!!!" Gloria yelled out exhaustedly trying to flail her arm around to shake Daniel off of it but to no avail as she let out winces and grunts of pain as she stood up bent forward at Daniel's will. "I just.... need... the right... opening..." Gloria muttered letting out deep pants of air as the sweating superhero kept her eyes open trying so desperately for find the opening, she needed to turn the tables one last time as her eyes shot up with an idea. "If I elbow Daniel, I could stun him to try and do a slam, it may not be much but it's all- AAAAAAAAHH!!!" Right before Gloria could finish her train of thought her body was yanked back by Daniel before being shot forward like a rocket to the other side of the ring for a set up lariat!!!! Gloria tried to slow herself down trying to plant her feet against the canvas but to no avail as her body collied with the ropes rebounding her off to go straight towards cousin. As Gloria turned back around and saw Daniel, her perception of the world began slow down as if she were frozen in time. "This is not how it ends! I've trained my life for this big day! If I lose now, everything I've gone through would've been for nothing!!!" Gloria noted to herself dreadfully fearing that everything she did was for nothing as she continue to make her way to her cousin. "Wait a second...." Gloria exclaimed as she looked down and noticed something. "Daniel has his lower body wide open, If I can spear him, perhaps.... it will be enough to stun him..." Gloria noted as she kept her eyes dead focused on her cousin's lower body finding an opening. "If this doesn't work, then it's over, so I have to do succeed no matter what!!!" Gloria exclaimed as now she had a way to counter Daniel even if it was a long shot given the fragile state her body was currently in, but a plan like this was better than not having a plan at all. The superhero took a deep long breath before time started to move back normally for her; she gritted her teeth as she tried to press her heel on the mat to propel herself forward with a spear straight to Daniel's stomach as a last-ditch attack!

Danny wasn't expecting a counter attack at all. He ran in going for broke when Gloria sprang into action. His eyes widened in horror as he knew what was happening but didn't have the time to stop it. Her spear smashed into him and she took the big man down hard to the mat. He crashed painfully to the canvas and gasped for breath having the wind knocked right out of him. He was down. He looked like he was out. He shook his head in shock and a bit of despair as he seemed to know his final gamble to get ahead in this match utterly failed him.

Gloria was on her last legs at this point, her body was running on fumes, every part of it was covered in sweat leaving her only able to fight back in short bursts of strength. It reached it's boiling point when Danny went in a last-ditch lariat, it was due or die time for the breathless superhero as if she didn't counter it would all be over for her. She had to act quickly but had to wait for just the right moment or else Danny may counter her attack but when the stars aligned just right, it was time for Gloria to make her last gamble... "ARAAAAAAAAH!!!!!" She bellowed out a battle cry as she charged at her cousin jumping off the back of her heels to plunge herself forward at him taking him down with a spear landing right on top of him!

BOOM!
The thud was heard as Gloria had her head laying down on Danny's chest trying to catch her breath as she pulled her head up slightly to see what became of her dear cousin. "Thank.... you...." She muttered having to pause between words as her body was heaving in and out faster with each pant. By all accounts Gloria could pin Danny here and now and probably win. but that was just it... probably. Danny proved to Gloria that despite being a regular old trainer, he has the skills to accomplish what she and their aunt have accomplished in the ring and build a legacy for his own without having to rely on the Sanders or Haines name to get by. "You put up one hell of a fight.... but... I have to end this...." She added on pausing between her words to take a breathe as she sluggishly pressed her hands on Daniel's chest trying to push herself up as she would follow by reaching down to pull Daniel up with her. "Lets try this... AGAIN!!!" She forced a loud shout from her throat trying to excite the crowd one last time as she began to set up for her finisher. Even with her arms slack and drained of almost all of their strength, Gloria had to use whatever she had left even if it was only seconds of it for this move. The blonde began to wrap her arms around Danny's stomach aiming to pull him off the ground gritting her teeth and exerting whatever she had left of her arms to a point some parts of her outfit began to tear up on it's own as she placed Danny ontop of her shoulders.

The crowd was in awe of the superheroes strength but really what she was showing was all she had left, after this she would be out so she had to make this count. Taking in a deep breath Gloria shot her eyes up into the sky and began to shout one final phrase. "STAR CRASH..... TO THE EARTH!!!!!!!!!!" Gloria belted out from her vocal chords as she went to drop Daniel down to the mat in one last feat of strength for her ultimate finisher!

Danny was down and unable to defend himself at this point. The surprise spear smashed into him, driving the air out of him. He was dead weight and lift up by Gloria before crashing down hard to the mat.

Danny's body was limp and motionless after the impact with him barely conscious enough to realize that he had blown his biggest match in LAW.
