L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Hey there all! Name's Cosmos, and I've been a fan of wrestling for as long as I could walk and talk. I've been lurking here and there and decided to finally throw myself into the ring! This is a new venture for me, but I'm looking forward to creating some fun matches and roleplays with you all!

I have a couple of initial character concepts I want to check that the reference images aren't being used so far. If someone could confirm for me, that would be much appreciated!

This looks to be a Japanese artist's OC. uujiteki-33 to be specific I'd suggest asking them beforehand unless you are said artist.

Ah... So you have to get permission for each reference pic? I see you have a lot of characters yourself, so you had to get each one approved or you're the artist for them all? That's kind of a downer admittedly if that's the case, but I get it if so.

Not necessarily. You can use them without permission, but its recommended to at least reference the creator of said OC. Now if they come back and ask that their OC not be used in the forums then you have to take them off at their request as they have a right to ask for their character back if they see fit.

I have Yumi who's an OC that belongs to someone on DA. I asked to use their OC and reference them at the bottom, but nobody said it wasn't allowed, just be sure to cover your tracks as both your chars are from their art gallery.

The girl is basically an expy of Erika from Pokemon who hasn't been taken. She is fine.

I thought she looked familiar but yeah she's not in use so you should be good to use her.

You don't have to ask permission to use their references, just bare in mind that if they ask you to stop using them (or on the off chance join LAW itself to use their own characters) you'll have no grounds to keep them.

My point exactly. I just threw the suggestion in there to cover all points in case. Once you make your first character just make sure to wait for approval from one of the mods and you'll be solid to start RPing!
