Oria took the phone back while looking into Oscar’s eyes. Her crush on him was palpable.
”We’re still going to fight you… and your friends! Your kindness changes nothing,” she yelled out as Oscar was walking away.
When he was gone, Jade put a hand on her sister’s shoulder.
”We need to prepare for the next battle.”
Her phone buzzed again. A text.
Unknown Number: ”I’ve hired others to join us.”
