The Raven had bested the Turtle, the older generation still proving that the new talents on the rise still had a couple of things to learn, but this new generation shouldn't be counted out. Akari had been beaten, yes, but-...she still took an experienced pro to her limit, nearly winning a couple of times in the process. However, the Raven Knight displayed a greater hunger for victory, leaving her younger opponent laid out in defeat, unable to process anything going on. As she was damn near close to being unconscious, Akari could hardly register the loud ringing of the bell that signaled Chika's victory. Then, just as she was about to drift off into a deep haze, she heard a voice calling out to her. She looked up with weak, exhausted eyes and found Chika there, asking if she was okay. She couldn't speak due to exhaustion and aching pains, so she simply nodded in response.

Chika smiled at her rival, grabbing her hand to drag her back up to her feet...

...pulling her right into a warm hug!

"Good job. Keep at it!", she would tell her as the crowd cheered and applauded the two women, Chika turning to the audience as she raised Akari's hand up into the air in respect and as a message of endorsement of the next generation. Chika was not mean or vindictive about her "spot" in wrestling. She would get old and tired at some point...and new people will come and replace her. But for now, she was going to do her best to prove herself the best!

Akari was pulled into the hug, and-...she returned it happily. She was proud to have gone the distance, to go toe-to-toe with such an inspiring veteran...a true legend in her own right. She didn't feel defeated, however...in fact, she felt empowered. This was just the start of her career, there would be plenty more downs, but she'd ensure that there would be far more ups. Akari was making her own legend, and this was a mere pit stop. She raises Chika's hand into the air, cheering her on and thanking her for such an incredible fight that pushed her to her limits, hoping that one day, she'd be able to fight her again when she gets better.

Winner by Pinfall: Chika Igarashi
