Midnight and the Angel - Karen Meadows vs Megumi Mutoh

Karen really needed to find some way to knock Megumi on her ass and keep her there, the girl had a nack of fighting her way back no matter what Karen hit her with. It was impressive if a bit annoying. Though she was looking to change that soon moving up to her feet she looked at the girl who was noticeably favoring one leg moving in like a madwomen again the next second as she suddenly drove her forearm into her neck.

"Ghhhk!" Karen staggered feeling herself falter a bit before she fired forward and attempted to throw a forearm back though at her face, a sudden fit of anger pushing her through the pain as she suddenly felt Megumi hitting her again and again, but she was doing her best to ignore it for the sake of attacking as well going for the side of her face with her hits.

Megumi took Karen's blow to the face, but she wouldn't stop her assault, smashing her forearm into the side of Karen's neck over and over. And then, she would grab Karen by her wrist before she attempted to send her running towards the corner with an Irish whip.

"Raaaaaaahhhh!!!"

While her foot was still hurting from before, she let out a roar as she would launch herself forward, ignoring the pain on her ankle as she ran over to Karen, looking to land a corner lariat at her, hopefully sending her out of the ring with the sheer force of the attack.

As the two traded blows with each other neither seemed to be willing to back down no matter what happened as Karen attempted to try and force Megumi back with repeated hits, neither girl made ground but it was her opponent who changed things up. Suddenly grabbing her before she knew what was going on Karen was tossed forward and whipped towards the ropes. Running towards them as she found herself bouncing off the ropes and running right into a charging Megumi catch her with a clothesline.

"Gaagh!" Karen screamed as she was knocked over the ropes, though this time she did a full spin and landed mostly on her feet before faltering and hitting the floor. Groaning as she attempted to try and get back up to her feet. Her mind focused on returning the favor 10 fold on her opponent.

Successfully sending Karen out of the ring, Megumi would get herself at the ropes, grabbing the top rope to see her opponent outside the ring. Her leg still hurt from before, but she would not let this hinder her from doing her next move. She would make use of the ropes as a springboard as she would hoist herself up, going for a plancha and leaping up into the air.

Megumi would jump towards Karen outside the ring, doing a single rotation in the air, performing a moonsault plancha! Hopefully, she would be able to hit Karen's body on the floor outside the ring with the move.

Tossed out by the vicious clothesline Karen was knocked to the floor rather unceremoniously. Though it was a rather abrupt drop Karen still didnt feel defeated or ready to give up yet...though exhaustion was taking its toll. Trying to push herself back up she saw Megumi jumping in the air and going for something big diving off and going for a big moonsault that would likely take her head off.

Karen's eyes went wide before her instincts kicked off and she moved out of the way making sure to avoid that impact entirely. Something like that nailing her back or dropping her on it might be the last straw for her aching back before she'd have to call it quits. as the ref started another count Karen was starting to rise waiting for Megumi to do the same as she planned her next move.

One of the many dangers of performing a risky high-flying move such as a moonsault was that one was unable to see the target, and Megumi had to rely pure luck to land the moonsault. So, when she missed the target, she hit the floor instead, and the impact was enough to cause her to feel the pain. "Aaaghhh!!" She landed right on her stomach, and she was left winded from the landing. "Huuuughh... mmmghh..." Gasping, she cradled her belly as she would roll over onto her back, writhing in pain.

With Megumi missing Karen entirely, she was exposed to danger, and Karen would be able to land her attack on her while Megumi was still on the floor. At the same time, the referee had started counting them out.

"TWO!"

Karen was reaching her limit, having taken alot of big moves in such a short amount of time was beginning to show as she lacked the early spring to her step she struggled to breathe through her nose and was sucking in air alot as her body was glistening with sweat. Thankfully Megumi was hardly looking all that much better or she would be in some serious trouble. And now she just needed to show her she was on top now.

Wiping somethin from her face Karen would look at Megumi and move in jumping in the air and attempting to drop her knee down on top of the girl. Taking a second to leave it there she would then try and pull the girl up holding her in place before jumping again and looking to bring her back down with a hurricanrana.

Writhing on the floor, Megumi then took a knee right on top of her, and she gasped out in pain. "Maaarghhh!!" The pain prevented her from stopping Karen's progress in pulling her up, positioning her in a way that allowed the black-haired wrestler to launch her next attack. Mind numbed by pain, she could only look at Karen as she leaped up, bringing her legs around her head and taking her down into the hard floor with a hurricanrana!

"Guooghh!!!"

Hitting the floor head first, Megumi slumped against the floor, panting heavily as she clutched on her head. At the same time, the referee continued counting both of them out.

"FOUR!"

She heard the count ticking up, telling them to get back in the ring or else. She even knew that this was usually the smartest thing to do. But at the moment she was a bit more concerned with making sure to inflict as much pain as possible on Megumi and make sure she stayed down for whatever Karen would try next and the outside seemed the best way to bring about that obedience. So when the count went up still Karen moved in after her opponent and went to stomp down on the girls stomach.

Stepping on her a second time Karen would yank Megumi up once more and pull her in close while lowring herself so her shoulder was at level with her midsection. Attempting to drive her forward and ram her backfirst into the barricade to make sure Megumi would feel like hell trying to get up again.

Megumi was seeing stars at this point, writhing on the floor. This allowed Karen to keep up on attacking her, stomping into her belly, causing the former Wrestle Angel to gasp out in pain. "Mooghh!!" And then, Karen pulled her up before she was thrown back first into the barricade, and she screamed out in agony. "Uaaaaaaghhh!!!"

Megumi had taken a lot of damages at this point, and she ended up slumping onto the floor again, moaning in pain. Her back throbbed painfully from being driven into the barricade, and she could only reach to her back, trying to soothe the pain. At the same time, the count continued, and both wrestlers, Megumi especially, were running out of time.

"FIVE!"
