Korra knew she had to act fast, so despite the pain, she pushed herself to strike back with a mule kick a moment or two after she got face planted and imprinted into the floor.
Korra tried to roll forward, but she got held up by her leg and was pulled in instead.
"No! Aahg! Oah! Aahg! Ghrrn!" The Avatar felt dread a moment before she got the 'puny god' treatment.
However, instead of leaving Korra to reconsider her life's decisions, Mikasa spun her around viciously several times before sending her flying into the ring.
"Aaaaaaaa!"
CRASH!!!
Korra smashed her way into the inside of the ring with such force that the entire thing completely collapsed on the tan woman.
Korra laid trapped under the rubble, trying to regain her breath and cope with the punishment she had just received. But it was difficult in her current circumstances. At this point, Korra was even questioning her ability to keep going.
Her will was wavering and even the glow in her eyes disappeared.
Was this over? Was Korra really just gonna let this annoying, albeit good looking, athletic woman walk all over her, humiliate the Avatar like this and just walk away? Well, Korra's pride has definitely been damaged and her will to fight almost extinguished.
Almost.
Suddenly, Korra's eyes lit up again.
The scene switches to outside the ring, which a moment later practically shatters into pieces outwards in an explosion, for the lack of a better term.
Korra would emerge with a mighty roar with her arms held up as if she had just swatted the ring away, basically like vegeta blasting out from under a bunch of rocks.
"Going somewhere?!"

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
One could wonder how the other Ackerman actually fought or Mikasa just knew how to improvise with just tremendous strength. Tossing Korra with pinpoint accuracy, not a single corner of this building was free from their carnage. Time started to pass and Mikasa couldn't hear any physical. After making repeated indents with the scenery and trapping her opponent in a canvas, the soldier thought this was finally the kicker. She overcame the Avatar's limits and avenge what was previously wounded, even if it left her with wounded muscles and bones.
Thus Mikasa turned away from the ring and about to prepare her leave. Until a shattering noise battered those eardrums. Her head whipping around to witness the arena practically turning into dust.
Apparently they were still going and Korra apparently looked even more pissed off. Preceded by a huff, Mikasa advanced towards her opponent for a simple full-force approach. With a stomp, she soared through the air towards her foe, aiming to take them down with a lariat!

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra was pissed, she was about to lose to this woman who just buried her and was about to walk away. Korra hated losing.
Korra started walking towards her opponent and soon it turned into a sprint. She wound back her fist, but before she could throw it, her eyes widened in shock as her body acted on its own.
Korra dropped onto her knees and bent her body backwards. She watched Mikasa's arm whiz by just above her face as she slid underneath the blow.
When Korra came to a stop, she swung around with a leg sweep from her kneeling position.
If that failed to provide results, she would follow up with a turning jump kick in Mikasa's direction.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Putting everything on speed and power, she prepared to plough Korra through whatever surface was somehow still stable. Assuming that her opposition couldn't swat this aerial collision, Mikasa would be left baffled by how Korra moved like a puppet, said movements allowed her to dodge the lariat. As the soldier soared past, her foot automatically dropped down to halt any further momentum, however these instincts could only assist her so far.
"Ahhhhhhhhh..." While the legsweep didn't fully break through, her bones already felt stiff from such a sharp blow allowing the next attack to give Korra more desirable results. "AHHHHHHHHH!" The next kick connecting to her back resulted in a louder scream, forcing to Mikasa hurdle towards another wall with arms stretched out. Upon collision the entire building apparently shook for less than a second.
The recent crash caused Mikasa's hands to slightly become embedded in the wall. Rather than simply pull them out, she slid her closed fists sideways until they clapped together, carving up the walls further.
Spinning so she would be facing her enemy once more, Mikasa charged into battle again in a crouched stance. Hoping to keep Korra on edge by swinging a left and right hook succession. Regardless if this pair of blows hit, she twirled around for a roundhouse kick to the neck!

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
After Korra's kick landed, she went after her foe right. She swooped in like a boxer, guarding her chin with her just her eyes being over her fists, watching for a counterattack as the two met in close once again.
And just as Korra predicted, Mikasa was quick to strike with a low left hook as the slayer's entire stance was relatively low. So, Korra turned her body more towards her left while moving her body roughly 60 degrees to Mikasa's further left, just outside the trajectory of the blow.
Korra then followed up with a left straight to Mikasa's face.
However, the latter was quicker with her own followup - in a single motion, Mikasa ducked her head a bit while a wide arc turning hook was already on its way, smacking Korra in the stomach. "Ghuh!" Korra let out and hunched forwards a little with a pained grimace on her face, but her abs withstood the blow for the most part.
However, korra was only barely able to raise her right arm in time to block the incoming kick that sent her skidding across the floor.
If Mikasa was not immediately upon her, then korra would dash back into the fray, throwing a right kick at Mikasa's side and if possible, perform the same kind of kick with the same leg, but higher, to the face.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
While Mikasa's first strike wasn't as fruitful thanks to her foe's agility, her current ability to multitask proved wonders as she landed the follow-up strike while evading further harm from a potential straight. This paved for the young soldier to almost ignite the air through a tremendous roundhouse kick.
Despite easily settling herself back to two feet, she didn't immediately pursue the bender and instead allowed her opponent to initiate the next clash. Anticipating an attack from her left, Mikasa's own reflexes came into play to hopefully catch that leg before it connected to her side. Provided she could hold that limb and by extent Korra within her zone, the slayer's arm suddenly swung in another arc once again, as if knowing the ideal angle to connect with the lower ribs for a nasty liver shot!

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra went in again, starting off with a kick, but before she could follow up with another kick, her leg did not comply, as it was held tightly in the titan killer's arm.
Before Korra could dropkick Mikasa with the other leg, Mikasa's fist shot into Korra's liver like a bullet. "Aaaagh!!" Korra let out a short, loud gasp. The avatar hunched forward slightly and grit her teeth.
If Mikasa was not wailing on her in the next moment, then korra would push through the pain and continue where she left off - dropkicking Mikasa with the free leg in order to pull out her trapped leg. If it worked, Korra would use the reflecting force of the kick to turn this into a backflip and land on her feet, quickly assuming a boxing stance.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Catching Korra's leg more than tipped the scales, especially when dealing tremendous damage to the bender's inside by driving a fist in deeper.
Despite the immense force, she still managed to maintain a grip on that gripped leg, thus forcing herself to glare at the hotheaded opposition. Instinctively sensing more retaliation, before she could throw a dropkick, a fist flew at blinding speed into Korra's ribs in another bid to make her numb. If this immobilised her enemy at all, the soldier would proceed to wail on the Avatar by throwing calculated jabs at the ribs and chest area, fixing Korra in one position through that held leg.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra was feisty, but another failed attempt at pushing Mikasa away with a dropkick sapped away the avatar's fighting spirit. No more immediate attempts to counter came when the opponent continued to hold Korra steadily in place and pound away at her body. Each blow created a forcewave out the other side of Korra's body which was made visible by the sweat being blasted off her back.
"Aaaagh! Aackh! Ghagh!" Korra cried out loud with every blow.
All Korra could do was put her arms up in front of her body and chest in order to absorb or lessen the blows. Her face was mostly tucked down into her fists to cover it as best she could. The pounding made the glow in Korra's eyes flicker before it vanished entirely.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Like a hulking goliath breaking through a worn stronghold, every single blow created enough resounding force to spread her hair slightly. Despite her opponent putting a defensive stance, Mikasa wouldn't show any relent and only manoeuvred slightly to punish the bender's body repeatedly. Even the risk of her own knuckles snapping wouldn't force the soldier to relent. As matter of fact, Mikasa was rewarded as she managed to outlast Korra's ascension and thus had apparent full control finally. Whipping the weakened woman's leg down, she would close in on the disoriented fighter to throw repeated side hooks towards the bender's jaw. No matter how much the bender swayed, she used these blows to carry Korra across the room.
