Ashford Sisters vs. Moonyoung Lee - Wild Handicap

Mara managed to take Moonyoung down by tackling at her legs, and she successfully brought her opponent down onto her back. "You should have gotten used to it at this point, you know?" Mara replied to Moonyoung's words cheekily as she would grab onto both her legs, looking to lock them together with her own. Mara would get herself in a seated position as she would slip the boxer's legs between hers before bending one of her opponent's legs, putting her into a figure four leglock.

Mara figured that the figure four leglock would put some pressure on the boxer's legs, allowing her to weaken those legs, putting the Korean in further disadvantage. Of course, the best-case scenario would be that she managed to get Moonyoung to tap, but at this point, she thought that she had to weaken her opponent first before actually thinking about making her tap.

Mara's tackle worked again, which made Lee a bit embarrassed, since she was a solid martial artist and this made her look like a newbie. Ugh, maybe you're right. But it's hard getting used to being taken down to the mat... Lee replied as Mara was already working her magic. Lee's legs found themselves in a number 4 formation and it wasn't just for show. This meant Lee's legs weren't going anywhere while her ankle and her calf/shin areas were taking the heat. UUghnnn... Tschhhh! RRrghh! Lee groaned, gritting her teeth, struggling not to shout in pain. She was subconsciously bridging her body up every time Mara applied pressure on her legs.

Lee was supporting herself on her elbows and forearms, her head would shot back everytime a wave of pain would blast her and force her to grunt in pain. The ideas of how to escape this predicament eluded the boxer's mind for the moment and her instincts were failing her, since her instincts were trained in everything related to striking, not a figure 4 leglock, something that you would rarely, if ever, see in MMA. UUrrghh! Damn it! Moonyoung cursed inbetween her moans. She was having a much easier time when standing up than this, but if she wanted to win this thing, she would have to escape her comfort zone and adapt somehow...

Mara kept Moonyoung locked in the figure four leglock. She knew that even if she couldn't get the Korean boxer to tap out, she would be able to weaken her from the hold, and that would give her a massive advantage over her. Of course, the strain from putting her opponent in the figure four was quite uncomfortable for the older Ashford sister, and she tried to ascertain whether the hold could get her opponent to submit to her or not.

"How about it?" Mara asked, pressing her own palms against the mat as she would keep the pressure going in the submission hold. "You can just submit if you can't take it," she pointed out, smiling at her opponent. Inwardly, she was glad that her younger sister was unconscious, or else she might cause her to feel inferior due to her getting a much better result than her. Her legs were getting shaky from the move, and she planned to relinquish the hold if her opponent refused to submit.

''fuck fuck fuck!'' Were the thoughts running through Lee's mind. If she just managed to stay on her feet, she'd probably be pummeling the last lights out of Mara, but now she was stuck in a painful as fuck hold and couldn't think of a way out. Her ankles felt like they could snap, but she'd be damned if she threw the fight when victory seemed so close. AAAarghh! That's very nice of... You, GHhrr, Mara... But I have other plans for tonight, GHHrrr, god damn it aaa! Lee displayed her defiance. This was hurting her like a motherfucker and even if she's getting out of this one, she's gonna have a hard time standing properly... The boxer would continue bucking her body up and swinging them both left and right, maybe she could even roll them over, but she had no idea whether this would be any better at all even if it worked.

Mara knew that if she could maintain the hold for a while longer, she would be able to get Moonyoung to submit, but she was also feeling the strain from the hold, and Moonyoung's struggling didn't help her case either. And so, she decided to cut her losses and release her opponent from the figure four leglock. She knew that her opponent might be badly affected by the hold, and she let out a sigh of relief after relinquishing the hold, looking to pick herself up in order to capitalize on this situation.

Thinking that her opponent wouldn't be able to pick herself up, Mara would walk around her opponent and get herself behind her, standing right next to her head. She would then grab onto her head and pull her up, planning to wrap her arms around her neck so that she could put her opponent into a standing sleeper hold, in which she would squeeze her neck and choke her from behind.

This figure 4 hold was going on forever and the pain wasn't the only factor in it, despite how evident it was. Stamina was a thing too, even if Lee managed to contain herself from tapping somehow, it was really tiring her out. On the other hand, it seemed like it was doing a number on Mara's stamina as well. Lee fully realized that only after Mara had released her.

As Lee's legs were set free, she immediately crawled backwards a little to make a bit of distance. I won't make it easy for you, dear... Lee commented through grit teeth and while rubbing at her hurting calves and ankles. She then tried to get up, but when she put her weight on her legs, they gave out and she dropped onto her knees. Fuck! Ohgghh! To make matters worse, that made her free for Mara's next move and the girl was already behind the boxer, wrapping her arms around Lee's throat. The only thing that Lee managed to do in time was lower her chin and instead of direct arm-throat contact, she wasn't being choked badly and it gave her an extra second to have both of her arms grab onto Mara's, trying to pull them away, to at least prevent herself from being choked out. In Lee's eyes, Mara really was the better fighter between the two sisters as she was relentlessly going for Lee's weakness, while Toni seemed to lack strategy and even tried to box with Lee a couple of times...

Having her arms wrapped around Moonyoung's neck, Mara tried to squeeze her neck in a sleeper hold, but the Korean boxer managed to mitigate the worst of the hold as she pulled her arms away, preventing her from choking her out. Still, with her opponent firmly in her grasp, Mara decided that she might as well take advantage of this. Straightening herself up, the short-haired Ashford would force Moonyoung to go up with her so that she could start moving backwards, dragging her with her towards the nearest turnbuckle.

"Haa... n-neither will I..." Mara responded to Moonyoung's words as she tried to drag her towards the corner.

If she couldn't weaken her opponent with the sleeper hold, then she would try another approach in which she would try to get closer to the corner where she would then try to whip around and send Moonyoung chest first onto the turnbuckle, hoping that the collision would deal some damage on her. Hopefully, by bringing her opponent to the turnbuckle, Mara would be able to press her advantage and deal more damage on her. At the same time, she would continue think of what to do next, her mind racing to come up with her next move.

Lee managed to prevent herself from being choked out right away. Lee knew that it takes only several second to choke out pretty much anyone if the sleeper hold is properly applied. It didn't take long for Mara to change tactics and start dragging her towards the corner after helping the boxer stand a little. She was keeping Lee on her toes, this one...

Soon, Lee got whipped breast first into the corner. Uuaah! She yelped out from the sudden impact with the sensitive part of the body. But now she had the ropes that helped her stand up till she'd get readjusted to the feeling. And while Mara was ragdolling her, Lee did her best to look for opportunities or recover. She did not really find openings that would quickly turn the tables, but the time given to her helped her recover a decent amount.

Mara did not immediately attack, so Moonyoung would turn around quickly, place her hands on the top ropes on each side to help her stand a little. She would then watch carefully for any attacks from Mara. There was no way Mara could tackle her to the mat from here. She would have to rip Lee away from the ropes first. Tired?

Sending Moonyoung chest first onto the turnbuckle, Mara had her opponent cornered, and she planned to conserve her energy by trying to attack her while she was at the corner. She saw her opponent turning around, leaning against the turnbuckle, and she decided to attack her with strikes. Standing right in front of Moonyoung, Mara would clench her fists before attempting to hit at her opponent's face.

Also, she sought to try hitting Moonyoung's face multiple times, swinging her fists, looking to deliver hooks and jabs in order to deal some damage on her. While Mara wasn't used to fisticuffs, this approach should at least allow her to deal damage on her opponent without having to lift her and throw her onto the mat. Hopefully, her opponent would be weakened after taking all those punches from her.

Maybe this was taking a toll on Mara or whatever the case was, but Lee turned around in time and now she could watch and see Mara's every move. Lee knew she was still in a pretty shitty spot, every boxer would tell you that you don't want to be cornered. But in this case, there were one or two good things about this - there was practically no way Mara could tackle her to the ground like this and the second factor was that both were now on their feet and Lee was facing her opponent, her eyes watching Mara carefully, looking at every single motion, fully focused. There were just Moonyoung and Mara in this world, nothing else existed for the boxer.

Lee may have looked like an easy for Mara, but the girl probably did not know a couple of things about her. For one, she was really fast and skilled. Also her style was focused around dodging, so when Mara started swinging lefts, rights, hooks, uppercuts, all the punches in the book, she might've been a little surprised by the result. That was because despite being cornered, Lee started dodging all of the strikes with perfect head movement, like her idol Muhammad Ali once did.

From the moment Lee started dodging, the crowds started cheering louder and louder for the cornered boxer as the latter continue to dodge the onslaught. From the looks of it, Lee almost made it seem easy, but in reality, it was far from it. Half of the strikes came really close to landing a hit and a part of them glanced through her face from various directions. She made it seem even easier, when Mara backed off to pause a little, Moonyoung taunted her with a little dance, which made the audience go mental. It was a tactic of sorts, Moonyoung wanted to provoke Mara into attacking again so that she could land a counter attack.
