Re: [Standard Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs Ember Days - Lightning is always followed by thunder

It definitely didn't feel like her debut. After many years of traveling around the world, Charlotte decided to stay in Tokyo in order to open a martial arts school. She never planned to start a career in the professional ring. But pro wrestling won her heart. When she fully felt what it was, she realized that it was here that she could do what she had always dreamed of.
But already in the first match she was disappointed. Charlotte saw every match as an opportunity to become the better version of herself. But this is possible only with a worthy and strong opponent. The first woman the Frenchwoman met couldn't give her a good match. Victory is victory. Only those for whom numbers are important think so. But Charlotte did not enjoy that victory.
It was different with Ember. This woman looked like a phoenix. Charlotte did not hold back, but even being on the verge of defeat, her opponent found the strength not only to continue the match, but also to respond to the Frenchwoman with no less, and possibly more serious series of attacks. The skills and willpower of the German-American woman earned the deepest respect of the Sand Lizard. Ember was a worthy opponent. And that's why this match was the first time Charlotte got the opportunity to get better. Get stronger than yesterday.
So she just couldn't give up. She couldn't back down. She was in pain. But if the pain alone is enough to stop her, then how can she even call herself a fighter? No, it wasn't enough. Having met a strong opponent in the ring for the first time, Charlotte intended to fight to the last.
Breathing heavily, she tried to gather at least some strength. She could hear the audience screaming. She could hear Ember muttering something in a tired voice. Yes, the Sand Lizard broke the pin. But that was only half of it. Now she had a much more difficult task ahead of her. Trying to restrain painful groans, the Frenchwoman turned on her stomach and put her palms on the mat. It was disastrously difficult to move, Ember's last attack literally knocked the wind out of her. And so it was not surprising that the red-haired woman was on her feet faster than Charlotte even had time to try to do it.
"Gggshhh..." Came out of her mouth the moment Ember grabbed her by the hair.
Damn. This was definitely the part of wrestling that Charlotte didn't like. Why did every second fighter see the need to grab the opponent's hair? However, that wasn't her biggest problem right now. The Frenchwoman's body was still wadded and so Ember did most of the work on lifting the pink-haired woman to her feet.
She perfectly heard her rival's demand. And despite her unfocused vision, she saw that Ember had clenched her fist. The Sand Lizard was barely standing at this moment. The red-haired woman's fist smashed into her cheek and her head jerked to the side. Blood mixed with saliva flew out of the Frenchwoman's mouth. Her legs gave way and she fell to one knee.
Yes, she was able to break the pin. But it didn't look like she had the strength left to continue the match. Charlotte was exhausted. She probably would have put her head down if Ember hadn't held her hair so tightly. Pain was the only thing she felt at that moment. But even so, the same words kept repeating in her head.
"Give me what you got left. Give me what you got left. Give me what you got left. Give me what you got left."
Did she really break the pin just to delay her defeat? Does only Ember really have the strength left to finish it? Was it really the end?
When she trained at the Chinese monastery, she learned one thing that became one of the main principles of her life. Even if you're going to lose, it doesn't mean you shouldn't try to win. When she discovered this truth for herself, she swore that in every fight she would try to go to the end, no matter what it cost her. The Sand Lizard clenched her right fist.
"SHANNAROOOOO!!!!" Charlotte let out her deafening battle cry.
Ember demanded to give her what she got left. That's exactly what the pink-haired woman was going to do. Through the pain and exhaustion, she channeled strength into her legs in order to straighten up to her full height. She was not a super-strong woman and perhaps she was losing to most in pure physical strength. But she knew how to use her body to strengthen each of the attacks available to her.
Charlotte was going to turn on her toes to the left side in order to add the force of torque to her movement. And it was at this moment that she intended to throw her right fist up. She didn't go through all this to stumble now. She went through all this in order to show what she is capable of. That's what she put into the devastating European uppercut that she aimed at her opponent's chin!
