Her body was literally burning because of all the pain it was filled with. And her every move only made the situation worse. Astrid felt that her reserves were empty. Her body was working on credit. The Golden Dragon didn't know how much longer she could hold out. But before the light in her eyes would fade, she intended to make sure that her rival would regret treating her with such disdain.
Driven by pain, the descendant of the great Vikings put so much force into her signature move that for one brief moment Alison literally turned upside down. The air around them was filled with splashes of sweat from the body of the American-Korean woman. And then there was such a loud bang in the arena that some of the spectators grimaced. It was the brunette who collapsed on the mat and remained lying there without any movements.
But she wasn't the only one who fell. Despite the fact that with this lariat Astrid gave her opponent all the momentum she gained, she could not stand on her feet. Her sense of balance left her and she fell on all fours after her opponent. She was surrounded by the screams of the audience, who really enjoyed such a tense match. But she barely heard them. At that moment, there were only white spots in front of her eyes, and there was an annoying squeak in her ears, signaling that she had reached her limit.
"Phaaaa... phaaaa... phaaaa..." her heavy breathing sounded.
Fuck. She wasn't expecting this. Yes, she knew that in LAW she would have to face much stronger opponents than those with whom she had fought before. But even though Alison didn't cause her anything but hatred, Astrid still couldn't believe that even her first opponent was so strong. If even her first match is so difficult, then what awaits her next? Most people in Astrid's place would have shuddered at the thought. But instead, she felt only anticipation. Why? Because that's exactly what she wanted.
But before she would step into tomorrow, she intended to make sure that her today would be ended properly. And so the Golden Dragon gritted her teeth. Perhaps many people did not notice this, but after her signature move, she did not let go of Alison's hand. Her fingers were still tightly gripping the brunette's wrist.
Exhausted, the descendant of the great Vikings pushed off from the mat, first rising to one knee, and then rising to her feet. The sweat and blood on her body mixed into an unnaturally thick mass, making even her hair look like she had just gotten out of the slaughterhouse. But even though every cell of her body was filled with agony, her determination was as strong as ever.
She intended to pull her opponent up once more. This time, she wasn't going to force Alison to get fully on her feet. This time it would be enough for her to simply force the brunette to take a more or less vertical position. Why? Because that would be more than enough for Astrid to be able to lean forward, pressing her shoulders against the front side of her opponent, while wrapping her arm around Alison's leg at the hip area.
It seemed that her next actions were obvious. But just for a moment Astrid hesitated. Fatigue began to overcome her. And she wasn't sure she could lift Alison on her shoulders. Her legs trembled and along with it Astrid let out a growl filled with despair.
But then she heard something that was like a spear going through her head. Name. The audience chanted her name. Louder and louder. The blonde's heart began to beat faster. It was the first time she felt what their support was. And here, in the LAW ring, it became the source of her strength. The Golden Dragon's muscles tensed. Her eyes widened. She took a deep breath.
"GRAAAAA!!!!!" She let out a roar accompanied by chants from the audience.
Straightening up to her full height, she intended to lift Alison onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry position. At such a moment, no one would blame her for wanting to enjoy a little more of the support she received. But she just didn't have the strength to stand still with Alison on her shoulders.
And therefore, if the brunette had not resisted, the Golden Dragon was going to show the audience how she used to solve any problems. Radically. Astrid intended to throw Alison's legs back, while putting her last strength into her own legs in order to make a jump up. No one should forget this moment. Throwing both legs forward, Astrid was going to grab the head of the American-Korean woman with both hands. Gravity would do most of the rest of the work. But the fact remained. The Golden Dragon was going to fall on her back and thereby smash Alison's head in the mat with an attempt to win this grueling match. Yes, that's right. It was her finisher! And she called it the the Jormungandr's mouth!
