L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Ashley held her opponent firmly. The Raid was locked in a piledriver position, too battered to fight back. Truth be told, both girls were running on fumes. Were the roles reversed, the Brit wasn't sure if she could have done anything differently to save herself. But Ashley didn't have time for wild guesses. The only thing that mattered was reality, and right now, Ashley was mere moments away from applying a completely new finisher for the first time.

Lisa had survived her "Crimson Fall" before, and the redhead couldn't afford to waste this chance to bring the match to an end. There was no room for error anymore. The Brit jumped in place with her opponent in tow, cupping Lisa's head tightly between her legs, and brought The Raid's figure down onto the ring mat hard. Making sure the top of Lisa's head received the impact in full. It was a devastating and cruel maneuver, which Ashley named: "The Hell's Spike".

The entire ring shook as both wrestlers fell violently, with Ashley gritting her teeth and channeling all her remaining energy into the move. The impact was intense, causing those nearby in the crowd to wince at the force. Ashley felt Lisa's entire body tense for a split second before releasing her, letting Lisa fall flat on her back. The redhead, in turn, landed on her side, drawing short breaths, barely being able to keep herself from ending face down on the mat. Fighting through her pain, fatigue, and exhaustion, the Brit crawled closer to her downed opponent, finally letting herself fall face down when near enough, not without placing on tired hand on the Raid's chest. Prompting the referee to initiate the count.

With her cheek pressed against the ground, Ashley could only watch, hoping that this was enough to keep Lisa down for good.

"ONE!"

The Hell's Spike

”1…!”

Lisa jolted awake with a start, and for an instant, she didn’t even know where she was or how she’d gotten there. Her senses overloaded, flooded with stimuli. A roaring crowd, the smell of sweat in the air, the vibrations on a rumbling canvas, and a strong, muscular body pressing against her. A familiar body.

Ashley.

The match, the pain, the struggle, all of it came back to her, like a computer rebooting. She’d been held upside-down, in the classic piledriving position, and then…well, it was obvious what came next, but Lisa couldn't recall any of it. A flash knockout, it seemed. And now she was here, pinned to the floor, and-

”2…!”

Her body twitched, squirmed, but no more than that. The strength had left her body. There was no serious damage, she could tell that much, but she also knew she was in no fit shape to do much. Certainly not enough to stop what was coming.

”3…!”

”Damn it.” She relaxed in the pin, slumped back, and groaned, accepting the uncomfortable reality.

The moment the referee's hand hit the canvas for the third time, Ashley let out a long breath; it was finally over. She rolled onto her back and sprawled on the mat. She was bloodied and covered in sweat, her entire body aching from perhaps one of Ashley's toughest matches of her LAW career to date. But as her music played again over the arena's speakers, she knew all the effort had been worth it.

Another W for her record, and another example of her true might as a wrestler, she would stand against anyone who dared to face her. And she would not stop until every opponent had been put down for the count.

Her chest was going up and down rapidly, drawing short breaths. She needed to lie down for a while, for she lacked the energy to stand back up right away. Ashley rolled her head to the side and saw The Raids' dormant figure, not moving. A stark contrast with the fierce adversary she had been during the match, the redhead smirked:

"That's how you fucking do it!" she uttered to herself.
