Jasmine hummed and purred, as Edith squeezed her shoulder and patted her head. The Hidden Gem gave REALLY good head pats. "No problem Eddie! Consider your initiation officially over! Among other things, I sometimes use smothering to show my affection too. So that's why I sat on you so much before." Jasmine explained. "But I can show affection in other ways! I can give ya my own headpats, or peck your cheek, or give ya noogies, or slug ya in the arm!" But rather than "playfully" hit Edith, Jasmine punched the air in front of her. This created an audible 'whoosh' sound that emphasized how hard she could strike. "But no more rough displays of affection today eh?" Jasmine giggled, choosing to return Edith's gentle headpats instead. The tough tomboy showing a bit more restraint, not just in her smothering, but in her generally rough disposition.

Edith then stood up and offered Jasmine a hand, suggesting that they share the real cake Jasmine had made for her. "Sure thing!" Jasmine chirped. "I just knew you couldn't eat that whole thing by yourself. Hehe."~ The two middleweights enjoyed the cake and hung out some more, before Jasmine returned to her kingdom. Jasmine would of course keep her promise, smothering her friend in moderation from now on. And when she did smother her, she showed more restraint. Not aiming to do it way too long or knock Edith out, unless they were having a match or spar or something like that. Edith's smothery friendship initiation, ended up making the pair closer after all. As a deeper level of understanding and trust sparked between them at the end of it.
