L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Rosie Knuckles' body heaved as she tried to push herself up, arms shaking as she struggled to get the energy and power in her to do it. She hated this. She absolutely loathed having to feel like this, where her body wouldn't cooperate with what she wanted, which was to just get up and beat the hell out of Aphrodite now. Instead, she could barely even push herself off the mat.

But Aphrodite was about to do just that, peeling her off the mat. Rosie cringed as her body rebelled against that feeling, taking deep breaths. She needed to contain her energy now. She had to do something when she could. And she needed to do it the right way. The Pink-Haired Pugilist wasn't ready to lose to a smug brat like this. And when she was picked up onto Aphrodite's shoulders, she knew she had to act.

"Aaaaah...!" shouted Rosie as she threw her entire body away from Aphrodite, breaking her opponent's grip as she fell off her shoulders and onto her hands and knees. Sucking a deep breath, she took only that moment before she knew she had to keep acting. Just move. Just do it. Deal with the pain and anything else after. Get into it.

Knuckles rushed forward, grabbing Aphrodite by the waist and running forward as she got to her feet. With her good shoulder, she gave a mighty shove to Aphrodite, shooting her off to the ropes, which were closer after she closed the gap. Planting her feet for one moment, she decided to go for her Hail Mary. Anticipating Aphrodite rebounding off the ropes, she spun already, trying to get into motion before her blonde opponent even saw what she was up to. And she threw her bad arm, forward, fist clenched tight as she went to nail Aphrodite in the face with the Mean Right Hook! It wouldn't be as strong as it normally was, but it would for damn sure be strong enough. Rosie made sure of it.

"This will be your end..." Aphrodite proclaimed as she heaved Rosie, preparing to perform her move on her, a finisher that would take Knuckles out once and for all with no contest. This would be it, she'd secure a win that was rightfully her own and finally break her spell of loses that she was having. Even then, with all that confidence that she was to win, she was having a hard time doing so, Rosie making it difficult with her weight and partially struggling. To make it worse for Aphrodite she was already having a hard time holding considering how spent she was, body sweaty and feeling the effects of a prolonged match.

Eventually it would be too much before she was forced to essentially let go, stumbling back against the rope as Rosie fell on to her knees as the two separated. In an instant, suddenly the goddess of love was no longer on top, the momentum now lost, "No..." she spoke, attempting to head over to Rosie before being knocked away.

"Gyah!"

Knocked back into the ropes and back towards Rosie. Aphrodite was caught completely off guard as before she knew it, a fist slammed into the side of her face, flattening the cheek cutting the lip as a small burst of spittle and blood from a cut lip comes forth as her head went over to the side. The Mean Right Hook was definitely mean as she fell backwards, stumbling back as fell up against the ropes, head slumped to the side as she was essentially knocked out for a period of time. In only a few moments the match had turned.

With a spin, Rosie Knuckles sent the Mean Right Hook colliding with Aphrodite's face with a loud crack that sounded out through the arena. Immediately, Rosie went wide-eyed, stumbling back a few steps after impact, holding her right shoulder and grit her teeth, looking like she was in agony. "FUCK!" screamed the Pink-Haired Pugilist, no doubt getting the broadcast censored as she held her arm, throwing her head back as she groaned loudly. She had hit her Mean Right Hook flush to Aphrodite, but it had taken the rest of whatever she had left in her arm to do it right now. It was numb. She could only feel pain and a tingle searing through it.

She saw the blonde laying against the ropes as she was effectively knocked out. Rosie was almost there. She just needed to pin this chick's stupid ass and the match was over. Shuffling back over to Aphrodite, she grabbed hold of the girl's leg with her good arm, tucking it underneath it as she gave a mighty yank, taking Aphrodite away from the ropes. "Ahhh!" she yelled in exertion, then she practically collapsed over into the cover, throwing her back on top of Aphrodite as she resumed holding her wounded shoulder again. The referee dropped down.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

The bell sounded and Rosie dropped her head back, letting out a deep sigh of relief. She had ended this freaking match, finally. Rolling towards her good side, Knuckles rolled to her knees before directing the referee to hold up her good arm. She did so, face scrunched up in pain as she allowed herself to celebrate briefly. She walked to the ropes and bent over, holding onto the top one with her good one before she would scowl over at Aphrodite, holding up a middle finger at her as she stepped through the ropes and made her way to the back, victorious in this Apex Qualifer!
