Wham! Wham! Wham! Each elbow from Enrieta felt like a hammer striking a metal gong, and each blow made it feel like Karen's brain was rattling in her skull. It was taking a lot of effort for Karen to remain standing; it was taking even more effort for her to maintain the hold, relentlessly stretching Enrieta's scarred body across her shoulders. Just a little more, Karen thought to herself. Come on, damn it, tap already! This same hold had left many of Karen's past opponents screaming out a submission and tapping; the fact that Enrieta still fought on was both amazing, impressive and frustrating.

Then, one final hit from Enrieta caused colours to burst behind Karen's vision. With a dazed groan, Karen tumbled down to her knees, releasing Enrieta in the process and letting her tumble to the dirt. Holding her hurting head, Karen was forced to take several vital seconds to get her bearings straight after all those repeated blows to the head...

Enrieta wanted to enjoy the triumph of managing to get herself free from Karen's hold, but she really couldn't. The torture she had been put into still produced a freshly burning pain in her back as she lay on her side in the sand, with a hand on her lower back

It did help somewhat, though, to see that Karen hadn't taken well to having her head repeatedly rattled by stiff elbow strikes. Enough that the Romanian was able to pull herself together just enough while her foe remained kneeling. She rotated herself in the sand behind her kneeling enemy, propping herself up on her hands and legs much like a sprinter does before preparing to take off.

If Karen didn't move in time, Enrieta would spring forward toward her foe. Only one thought went through the Viper's mind: If bitch thought elbows to the head hurt, how'd she like to deal with a knee to the back of her skull!
