L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

The Thundergirls looked all but done. But The SWAT Cats had every reason to believe that if they covered Alaina and Tina now, one or both of these amazons would somehow find it within themselves to kick out! The champions were running on empty as well. Aurora was visibly sweating and panting heavily. Katherine was sporting a few sore spots and bruises. The next move had to end it, or else the world might see these women exhaust themselves into a no contest!

"Alright...that makes two!" Kat would nod to Aurora!

The entire time that Aurora was fighting to slam Alaina just one more time, Kat had been setting up the tables at the top of the entrance ramp. She set them up side by side. The two wooden fixtures were positioned very intentionally. Kat would walk over to Aurora and help her stand up straight. The two whispered briefly and then nodded to each other. They were in the endgame now, and they wanted to end this contest decisively with something big!

"I'll apologize for this later, Tina..." Kat would comment as she looked to haul Tina up off the metal beneath her. She'd deadlift The Tigress by getting a grip on her waist and hugging it to haul Armstrong up off the ground!

"I'd apologize to you, too, Alaina, but something tells me you'll be too upset with me after the match to care..." Aurora followed suit in her own way. She hooked both arms underneath Alaina's shoulders and squat down to try and forcibly haul the heavyweight Amazon up off the ramp! Aurora managed to drag Alaina a short distance toward the table, but ultimately, Kat had to come along and help haul Sanders up off the ground so that they could both settle her on the table.

The audience and the commentators speculated. Everyone asked what the tag team champions were up to! Kat and Aurora would both point skyward. All at once, cheers would break out as people began to piece together what the two luchadoras were going for!

Slowly, the two of them would make their way towards the scaffolding by the entrance ramp. There were towers of interconnected metal pipes going high up toward the rafters! Kat would climb the one on the left. Aurora would climb the scaffolding on the right. Slowly the pair of battered, determined champions made their way up! They made it as high as the middle of the massive titantron monitor above the entrance tunnel!

Katherine would turn around and grip the metal rods for support. Aurora would look back over her shoulder multiple times before looking across the monitor towards Kat. Without saying a word to each other and without taking a moment longer to prepare, the two SWAT Cats would leap at the very same time!

With the massive distance and height between themselves and their opponents on the tables, they couldn't afford to miss. They had to end the match here! The two luchadoras took advantage of the vast airspace! Kat would flip backwards in the hopes of hitting a massive Shooting Star Press on Tina! Aurora would flip without turning around to face Alaina first! Estrella would hit an amped-up version of one of her own finishers! A Double Moonsault that she called The Drops of Jupiter!

Together, The Super Kitty and The Galaxy Cat would risk it all! But if they pulled it off, if they managed to put Tina Armstrong and Alaina Sanders through these tables, they'd pass out with their tired, sweaty frames draped over the challengers, allowing the referee to count the pin!

Tina was out and Alaina was nearly there as her back throbbed, her bleeding was still going and the blood caked amazon still in a total fuzzy double-vision haze. Alaina knew she wanted to move but her body just wasn't responding. Soon it didn't matter at all though as the crowd roared and the impact caused the tabled to splinter and the bodies of the Thundergirls to get absolutely crushed! Alaina and Tina collapsed lifelessly to the ground as the tables broke under them. Neither showed any signs of life after the impact or even during the pin count making this likely one of the most sure fire pins that would not fail the champions that they have had during any title match.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

It wouldn't be until moments later when Alaina came around first, then Tina did a few seconds later. Alaina kicked the ground and cradled her head in her arms rolling to her side as Tina did much the same. Both women were showing obvious signs of concussions, and they figured that the celebrations of the champions were still going on. Both of them simply wanted to disappear. They came in and didn't just lose they got flat-out beaten unconscious and left broken down in defeat. Alaina struggled and groaned, working her way up slowly as did Tina. Alaina stumbled and fell to her knees and Tina fell flat on her stomach as the two tried to stand. Alaina and Tina both crawled a short distance before staggering up again, leaning on one another before trying to disappear backstage in their hobbled, struggling walk.

Once backstage the two would be semi-forcefully told by medical that they needed to be checked out.

The champions hit their marks! The sight of them soaring over a dozen feet through the air to put Tina and Alaina through some table would cap off a night if amazing matches in this stacked PPV card!

The crowd was on their feet cheering and counting along with the referee as the match was called and decided! Even though they couldn't get up to their feet for a while, Katherine and Aurora raised their arms high from their supine positions on the floor in the wreckage of the tables.

"Your winners....AND STILL! LAW World Tag Team Champions.... THE SSSSWWAAAAAAT CAAAAATS!"

The announcer did her thing and the applause fell from the audience like rain. It took a couple of minutes for both teams to find their way up. Some of the staff would help. When they saw Alaina and Tina hobbling towards the back, Kat would reach out to try and touch Alaina's shoulders.

"Allie...Tina...you guys...you gave us our toughest match yet. Those cheers, they're every bit as much for you guys as they are for us." Kat would say earnestly. If Alaina let her, The Super Kitty would grab hold of The Amazon's hand with both of her own. Aurora would reach for Tina's hand. The champions would raise the arms of the challengers high. Everyone was proud of what both accomplished today!

A few minutes later, The Cats would join the Thundergirls in their trip to the medbay backstage. All four of them would definitely need a few weeks off to recover from the bruises and the injuries sustained today.

As The Thundergirls hobbled Alaina heard what she thought was Kats voice. Everything sounded like it was underwater and Alaina's vision was super blurry now. Much the same applied to Tina. Both were conscious but they weren't really there upstairs. The two stopped and let their arms get raised although Alaina dropped to her knees and swayed while Tina slumped to one knee and used her hands to steady herself.

Tina let herself just get outright knocked out when mere seconds prior she had control and Alaina was rolling when Aurora slammed her senseless reigniting the head injury she initially got on the steels steps from Kats offense, and making her aching torso downright explode in agony. They would be a bit humbled and embarrassed later though, as right now they barely had the wherewithal to make it backstage. Once again The Thundergirls fell short against the SWAT Kats, and on the biggest stage yet.
