A Valiant Debut: Belinda Northman vs Makie Akamatsu (D)

Pain throbbed through Makie's back after Belinda had almost casually smacked her against the mat like a wet shirt against a tree. She lay sprawled on her back, staring up at the arena lights, moaning as she willed her body to move. Every attempt at movement, though, was greeted by a fresh stab of pain in her spine.

"Unnngh..come..onnnnn...." she moaned, conscious that she was a sitting duck for whatever Belinda had planned next. As if in answer, she felt her boot being grabbed, and she was unceremoniously flipped over onto her front. Somewhat relieved, Makie began to push herself back up to her hands and knees...

...and looked up, just in time to see Belinda plummeting down at her, elbow first.

GAAAAAAAAHHH!" she screamed as Belinda's elbow crashed down against her sensitive back. She went flopping onto her side, one arm clutching her hurting back, tears welling in her eyed from the pain.

Damn it, she couldn't lose her debut... not like this...

[Devastated]

Soaring through the air for but a moment, Belinda came down hard upon the debuting young wrestler, her elbow driving down square into the lower back of Makie Akamatsu! The impact earned her a loud scream from the Japanese girl, and the crowd released a loud pop, cheers and shouts echoing through the arena as Belinda's diving elbow drop finisher hit dead center!

The blonde pushed up to a seat as she looked out at the crowd, she raised the arm which had crashed into Makie's back and pat her elbow with her other hand, showing off for a second or two to the crowd. Then leaning down she would try to shove Makie onto her back and lay herself across that chest of her foe, pinning her down as she went for a cross press pin.

The referee would move in to check on Makie's shoulders to make sure that they were pinned down, then she slapped the canvas and called out loudly. " ONE!"

Makie's back burned with agony as she went rolling over, her eyes clenched shut as she tried to fight off tears of pain. Her back felt numb, and her body felt slow to react. That diving elbow drop from Belinda, she realized, had taken a lot out of her. Her odds of winning this match kept getting lower and lower.

She felt herself being shoved onto her back, and then Belinda was lying across her for a pinfall. She groaned, hearing the ref count down in the background. That countdown reached two before before Makie gave a cry of exertion and twisted her body, narrowly getting a shoulder up in time!

Makie was hurting right now, but she wasn't out of the fight yet.

Pressing herself down against the young Japanese wrestler's body, pinning her down with that crossbody pin, Belinda felt pretty certain that this would be the end of the match. If she hadn't been, then she hadn't done that little boast for the crowd. Though she was proven to be wrong about that, as Makie managed to twist her body and raise her shoulder, with a cry she broke the pin! Belinda was forced up a bit, pushing up to her knees as she would release a huff.

"Okay then..." Belinda said, a bit surprised. She was of two emotions now, impressed at Makie's tenacity and a bit frustrated that Makie had kicked out after her finisher. " Let's try this then." If Makie didn't want to be pinned, Belinda had a different plan in mind. She would move up to her feet, grab onto Makie's legs and try to roll her over onto her front.

Belinda would then position herself with her back facing Makie's head, as she stood by her legs, her boots placed on either side of Makie's body. She'd reach down, grabbing each foot by the ankles and crossing those legs as she would start to lock in a cross legged elevated boston crab style hold, bending Makie's back! She was putting Makie through the first step / a less intense version of her submission finisher. Orion's Cross....she didn't want to go all the way just yet, Makie's back must be in a world of hurt already, and she didn't want to go too far and hurt the newcomer too badly so she chose to not bridge just yet.

The crowd was roaring now, both in disbelief and in approval, and Makie narrowly got a shoulder up. The newcomer was getting absolutely pummeled by the more veteran Belinda, and it was absolutely clear that she was outclassed in this match...but she was still giving it her all, no matter how battered she got and how much pain Belinda put her through.

That, at least, was how it seemed, though a lot of regular LAW viewers knew that Belinda had even more in store.

Makie was still moaning from the brutal impact of her foe's elbow drop when she felt her legs being grabbed. Blinking in surprise, she felt herself being rolled over onto her front at that point, so that her chest was now smushed against the mat. Breathing hard, she felt her boots being crossed, and then the pain in her back seared up again as Belinda leaned back, bending her already hurting body in a submission hold.

"Aahh....AAAAAAH!" she cried, screwing her eyes shut. She flailed in the hold, her arms lashing out left and right as she sought to get a hold on the mat. Tears were welling in the corner of her eyes: in this position, she could not fight back effectively: the most she could do was try to crawl towards the ropes.

And so she started to do that. Whimpering softly as the pain in her back increased, she nonetheless dug her elbows into the mat and began to try to carry herself and Belinda towards the ropes. The pain in her back was getting unbearable, but she could hear the crowd starting to clap in unison.

She was not going to lose today. Not in her debut. Not in front of all these people...

It was becoming more clear to the crowd that the match was nearing its end, especially as Belinda began to lock in the first stage of the Orion's Cross finisher of hers, she heard the cries of pain come from Makie as she locked it in, feeling pretty confident that after the elbow to her back, Makie would soon tap out! Though looking over her shoulder she saw how Makie was flailing with her arm as if trying to reach out towards the ropes, then she felt how the newcomer started to try to crawl!

"Tch...stubborn one, ain't you?" Belinda spoke out, clicking her tongue a bit. Here she went a bit easy on Makie with this hold, but she felt a bit insulted that Makie wasn't tapping out to this after that elbow drop to her spine! "Alright then. You asked for it!" Belinda called out as she would try and jerk Makie back to try and render the crawling Makie had done futile. Then, she'd proceed to lean backwards, trying to increase the bend and torque of the hold as she tried to lock in the full bridging cross-legged Boston crab!

She didn't really want to cause any injury or hurt the newcomer too much, but she had her pride as a wrestler to think about, and if Makie wasn't going to give in despite her being a bit lenient on her, then she was going to give Makie the full brunt of her submission finisher - The Orion’s Cross!

Makie's back was burning with pain now: taking an elbow from the top rope had been bad enough, but Belinda now stretching her back with that finisher of hers made it even worse. She did her best to ignore the gnawing pain in her spine now and focused entirely on escape. She clenched her teeth shut, a few whimpers of pain escaping as she suppressed the urge to scream. She dug one elbow into the mat, then another, her vision growing blurry past tears of pain.

I won't lose, she thought, hearing the crowd clapping and urging her on. This is my debut. I will NOT lose...

And then Belinda leaned backwards, torquing the hold further and causing the throbbing pain in Makie's back to explode into white hot, searing agony.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" she screamed, burying her face into the mat as the pain started to become unbearable. She felt her forehead and hair starting to become damp with sweat as her legs and lower back were stretched and bent almost to the breaking point. It was impossible to resist the pain now, and she felt herself starting to become light headed as it threatened to overwhelm her.

"I...won't...lose...to...you..." she whimpered, trying to continue her crawl to the ropes. With Belinda having her legs locked as tightly as they were, though, Makie's efforts were in vain: she was trapped in the center of the ring, unable to escape. Around them, the crowd was practically screaming along with her as they were on the edge of their seat, waiting to see if Makie would tap...

Since Makie was refusing to tap out, it became somewhat of a pride being at risk of being damaged situation, she had eased up the hold in the beginning but now she was putting the full crank...bridging back and locking in her submission finisher fully! She heard the pained screams of Makie but she didn't let up, it seemed as if the young Japanese fighter was very strong willed, but if she refused to give in, then Belinda would have to find a way to force her.

Bending backwards, she pulled on those legs and tried to put even harsher of a bend on Makie's back! She heard the whimpers of Makie as she tried to crawl, but Belinda had her locked in place now. Through gritted teeth, Belinda would respond to those whimpers. " Y-you did will! But it's time to tap!" Belinda said as she kept her bridge firm and tight! The crowds cheered loudly as they waited...to see if Makie could break free or if the match was reaching the end!

Inch by inch, Makie tried to pull them closer to the ropes. With each crawl, the pain in her spine simply grew: her spine felt like it was buckling under the pressure, her knees felt like they were going to dislocate, her hip muscles felt like they were going to tear...and with Belinda weighing down on her back like that, she was not moving very fast at all.

"RRRRRRRGGH!" she bit back a cry of pain, feeling hot tears welling in her eyes. The agony was unbelievable, and her entire body felt like it was going numb in response. Her arms felt leaden, and her back felt like it was going to snap like a matchstick any minute now.

I won't lose my debut...I won't lose...I won't lose...

She heard Belinda both complimenting her and at the same time urging her to tap out.

I won't lose...I won't lose...I won't lose....

She tried to crawl some more. The movement caused even more pain to surge through her spine. What was worse, she felt too weak, to drained, to pull forward any further. She was stuck here, trapped in Belinda's submission hold, unable to escape.

"AAAAAAAAAAGH!" she screamed against the mat, sweat stinging her eyes and beading on her hair. She was starting to feel lightheaded now, like she was on the verge of passing out. She was vaguely aware of the fans around her, some chanting her name, many others chanting Belinda's. Her arms could barely move.

Clamping her eyes shut to hold back the tears of pain, Makie slapped at the mat, signaling her surrender.

Belinda continued to wrench on that submission finisher of hers, she heard Makie cry louder in pain, screaming as she did her best to withstand the hold! It was pretty rough to remain in this bridged position for this long...but Belinda tightened and flexed her core as she remained up and arched, keeping her hold locked in firmly!

After a few more second of this...Makie finally tapped out! The referee quickly grabbed at Belinda's shoulder to signal to her that the match was over as she then raised her arms up and called for the bell! Belinda didn't waste any time. She released Makie's legs and relaxed, her back dropping down softly on top of Makie's, she panted out a couple of deep breath.

"Phew..." The blonde huffed out as she would roll off of Makie and push up to her feet, she'd raise her right arm as the referee came in and grabbed it to hold it high in the air, declaring her the winner. After the little fanfare she would lean down, hands on her knees as she bent forward and looked at Makie. "Hey, you okay? You did good kid. Tough as nails. Though a bit too stubborn for your own good." Belinda joked, as she would reach forward with her right hand, offering to help Makie up. "You good to walk?"
