Fifth Match - First Annual Queens of the Beach: Astrid Ostberg vs Kaia Ambrosia

Though Astrid tried to roll over and bring Kaia down, it still wasn't any good, with the Greek woman holding on firmly. Astrid had to strain with all her strength now, her hands gripping Kaia's ankles with a white-knuckled pressure as the muscles in her arms were stretched to their limit, trying to overtake the pressure. But the words Kaia shouted to her never reached her ears, as she was focused only on freeing herself - everything else was a blur.

"I...I can do it!" Astrid shouted in defiance as she gave one hard pull to try and yank Kaia's legs off her head. She was going to prove her wrong, if nothing else!

Kaia would just continue to slowly add more pressure to her opponent's head as she squeezed it between her thighs. Still the blond was not going to give up any time soon as she would feel Astrid attempt to pull hard on her thighs , and attempt to yank her legs off her head.This caused her to grunt as she would try , and struggle to match the strength the blond was using as she hoped to keep her trapped in the headscissors as she tried to get in Astrid head by saying ''no you can't''

Kaia tried to get in Astrid's head, but the blonde refused to let her. She bit down on her lip just to distract herself and make sure Kaia's words wouldn't reach her, enough to draw a bit of blood.

Still, Astrid's efforts were beginning to bear fruit, as Kaia's hold on her head was starting to grow weaker. That was encouraging! Kaia's hold wasn't quite as iron and unbreakable as Astrid might have thought, and there was hope for her to free herself. She just had to keep trying. As sweat beaded on her brow, her face going red, Astrid pushed harder still to try and force the brunette's legs off her head. Now she would start to rock back and forth as well, taking advantage of the newfound freedom of movement offered by Kaia's looser hold. If it worked to her plan, Astrid thought, she might be able to get Kaia's hold to slip.

Kaia had hoped she was getting inside her opponent's head.As once an wrestler or just an person would begin to doubt him or herself they would be weaker as she believed this to be the case when the blond did not respond back. Only to find that it was taking more effort to keep the other wrestler trapped , and since she had just tried to add more pressure this meant that Astrid was about to break free.

''Hey I told you escape was impossible''cried the brunette as she would try to fight back with what she had to keep her trapped.Only to end up failing as Astrid would break free as she slipped free from her grip.As this left the Greek wrestler with no other choice , but to get to her feet as she had to come up with another idea.

"Nothing's impossible if you try hard enough!" came Astrid's response. Her face was red and her hair in disarray as she panted hard and fast, trying to fill her lungs back with air. She had to admit, she wasn't so sure if she'd be able to free herself easily herself - Kaia's hold had done a good deal to wind her, and her head was still sore from the pressure on her temples. Astrid wasn't sure if even she was going to be able to get out - but she did. She grinned wide at her accomplishment, knowing that she had done what all had thought was impossible. Her perseverance and strength had conquered all in the end!

But Kaia was quick to get up, and Astrid wasn't stupid. She knew that she was doubtlessly planning her next move, and it couldn't possibly be much good for the blonde. Astrid wouldn't let her get that far if she could help it, and her next move would be to throw an elbow into Kaia's direction, hoping the blow would stun her for long enough for Astrid to regain her strength and pull off a move of her own.

It seemed her plan to get into her opponent's head , and make her doubt herself had failed.As from the way Astrid was replying it only filled her with more confidence as she would try to keep the blond trapped in the headscissors.Only to fail as the other wrestler would escape , and both would get to their feet as it was back to the drawing board as she tried to think of an plan to put her opponent down long enough to force her to submit.

So the plan right now was for the brunette to circle around while looking for an opening..However the blond had an different idea as she would get in close , and lash out with an elbow that would connect with her side.As this caused Kaia to groan as she would back up while holding her side as she tried to sooth the pain leaving her exposed.

Astrid smirked at the sight of Kaia backing away, knowing that her attempt at interrupting the brunette's momentum had been successful. She saw that Kaia was open now, and it was her time to shine - she knew well enough that leaving Kaia with a window to react could only mean bad things for her. She wasn't going to let Kaia get one over on her.

The blonde weighed her options as she stood, shaking out her arms in preparation. She had considered going for her trademark bear hug, which she had made a name for herself using to finish off her opponents, but she knew that Kaia was larger than she was, and would be difficult to lift, not to mention Astrid herself was growing winded and wouldn't be at full strength. In such a state, it was no use for her to try and attempt a risky hold that Kaia could simply power out of. Astrid would have to try something else instead. She saw that Kaia had left one side unguarded as she stood nursing her arm, and that gave Astrid an idea. As quickly as she could manage, Astrid went to circle around to get behind Kaia's back, and from there, she would grab for the Greek woman's arm and try to wrench it back in a hammerlock.

With Kaia backing up while she attempted to sooth the pain she was feeling she was wide open.Which was something that any good wrestler would be able to notice , and sadly the blond was an great wrestler who had noticed this.As the other wrestler would go straight towards her as she believed at first that Astrid would go for another bearhug.Which was something she could easily escape from as she did not worry to much about how painful it would be because of that.

Only to be proven wrong as rather then wrap her arms around her waist she would feel Astrid grab onto her arm.Which was soon wrenched back by her opponent as it would end up leaving the Greek wrestler trapped in an hammerlock as she tried to fight back.As she hoped to break free as she tried to hit the blond with an kick as she would kick backwards blindly to accomplish this.

Getting her hold in just as she had hoped, Astrid gripped tightly to Kaia's wrist, pulling it as far as it would go as she tried to bend it over her back. Biting her lip and trying to focus, Astrid tried to push it even further, using every inch of force she could get.

But Kaia shot out with a kick, and she managed to nail Astrid in the side, causing her to stumble on her footing. Her grip on Kaia's arm began to slip. While she didn't let go of her wrist entirely, it would still be loosened quite a bit, and Kaia could easily pull away if she wanted to take the opportunity as the Norwegian was backing off.

After she had bin grabbed by her opponent , and ended up trapped in an hold by the other wrestler the brunette wanted to quickly escape.So to accomplish this she would kick backwards as she manage to hit the blond in the side causing the both of them to stumble until the Greek wrestler would feel Astrid's grip on her wrist begin to slip.

As she would try to pull her arm free , and then turn around as she would run towards the blond to tackle her down while she was still stumbling to regain her footing.
