Red vs Green for the Holidays: Makie Akamatsu vs Peggy McIntyre

Makie had crashed into the fans after being flung over the barricade by Peggy. Groaning, she felt the audience members propping her up-- though thankfully, they were keeping their hands away from where they shouldn't have...before she was set down on the floor as the audience members hurriedly backed away. She felt something warm and sticky on her forehead from where her had been rammed head-first into the barrier again and again. Had Peggy opened a cut?

Groaning, Makie forced her eyes open...just in time to see Peggy coming down at her with leg drop. She willed her hurting body to move, and rolled, hopefully avoiding getting nailed by Peggy's big hit...

Peggy vaulted over, people often forgot that she could leap and fly when she had to! However Makie seemed to have realized this and to Peggy's horror she was flying landing with out-stretched legs down on the concrete! "AAAARRRRGHHHHHH!" Peggy howled as her legs and tailbone were jolted by an agonizing landing! Peggy screamed and rolled, flopping down to her side as she grabbed at her backside flailing her legs about as she laid there at the feel of the fans! She was in a lot of pain now and Makie had a golden window to act!

Makie huffed as she staggered up to her feet, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in her own back. At the moment, though, it looked like Peggy had just taken a lot worse. This gave her a perfect opportunity to strike back against the Irish girl. She blinked, and rubbed her forehead. She was definitely bleeding from where Peggy had rammed her face-first into the barricade. She gritted her teeth, feeling angry despite the dizziness.

Staggering over towards Peggy, she grabbed two handfuls of the Irish girl's hair to hoist her to her feet. Grimacing, she would try to prop Peggy back-first against the barricade, before taking several steps back. With a wordless yell, she would launch herself at Peggy, trying to slam a knee up into her face to knock her over the barricade back out into ringside!

Peggy groaned as she was yanked up to her feet and propped up. She shook her head and stepped forward... right into the knee! Her head snapped back and she limply flopped over the barricade like a sack of bricks. Peggy landed seemingly lifelessly at the feet of some fans, moaning in pain as she cradled her head in her arms meekly kicking the ground as she shook her head on the wrong end of Makie out-brawling her outside the ring, a spot Peggy didn't ever see herself in against this opponent.

Makie was conscious of two things: first, how much her body was starting to ache and hurt as a result of this brutal match. And second, the fact that the ref was still counting them both down. They had to get back in the ring, and fast.

Crawling over the barricade, Makie staggered over towards Peggy. Breathing hard, she grabbed a hold of Peggy's hair and yanked her to her feet before trying to drag her over towards the side of the ring, aiming to ram Peggy face-first into the turnbuckle before rolling her back into the ring!

Peggy felt herself grabbed and knew she had to fight back. She shook her head and slammed Makie in the abdomen with elbow strikes as hard as she could before yanking Makie's hair! Peggy howled as she looked to bring Makie's head down into the upswinging knee of Peggy as she wanted to just leave this woman in a total daze!

Even as Makie took to handfuls of Peggy's hair, the Irish girl fought back, driving one elbow into her abdomen, and then another. "OOOPH!" Makie gasped, forced to release Peggy's hair as she doubled over.

Then she felt her own hair being yanked, and a second later Peggy's knee exploded into her forehead. She cried out as her head snapper back, and she dropped to her knees in a daze. She felt blood trickling further down her face as Peggy's knee widened the cut on her forehead!

Peggy yanked Makie up by the hair oblivious to the fact that the referee in the ring was counting! Peggy was swinging forearms at the chest of Makie before trying to grab her by the hair again to throw her against the barricade oblivious to being on the verge of a double count out! Peggy was focused on trying to brawl with Makie getting tunnel vision on hammering the Japanese grappler into the ground before getting back into the ring again!

Makie grimaced as she felt her hair being grabbed again. While she was conscious of the countdown in the background, she was also conscious of how much pain she was in at that moment. Damn it all, Peggy had hurt her, and she wanted to return the favour.

As Peggy flung her towards the barricade, Makie leapt up, landing with a crouch on the edge, before springing off. If all went according to plan, she would come splashing down into Peggy, slamming her back-first against the arena floor!

Peggy thought she hammered Makie into a daze but she was horribly mistaken. As Makie was sent running Peggy lumbered after her but she was walking right into Makie's trap! Peggy saw Makie jump up and on the barricade before leaping at her. Peggy could only shake her head in shock as Makie came crashing into her sending Peggy down to the mat in a heap! She groaned and kicked in pain down on her back once more!
