Cage Match: Kat vs. Alaina

Alaina missed and hit the mat hard, but that was nothing compared to the shooting pain she felt in her ankle! "AHHHHHHHHH!" She shouted as she flailed about, hearing Kat call for her to submit. "No way.... NO!" Alaina screamed back in response, trying to coil her free leg into her body, and bring her held leg closer by using her leg strength to pull Kat in just a bit. Alaina looked back in agony but had a plan. Kat was now close enough for her free leg to connect and she used all the power she had in her to spring her leg out and draw Kat in as she attempted to smash her jaw with a kick!

If successful Alaina would free herself and leave Kat on the mat in a daze, giving her a chance to go for a move she felt could keep Kat down! If unsuccessful she would be painfully caught in the hold, having to think of another way out!

Alaina's protests were to be expected. Katherine had reservations about going all out with twisting the old veteran's ankle out of its socket, but when Sanders said no, she began to pour on all the pressure she could muster! The luchadora purposely gave Alaina few options for escape. Any hold from Katherine could end matches with most of her competition, and that threat was being made abundantly clear in this situation as it had been against many others. As Alaina pulled her own leg closer, and by proxy pulled Kat, The Super Kitty continued relentlessly attacking that Achilles. But Sanders wasn't going to suffer the hold uncontested.

"Ooof!" Katherine sputtered and found herself in a slight daze as the sole of The Amazon's boot crashed against her jaw.

The kick threw her for a loop. She began to ease up for a second. But just as quickly as she had let up, Hart reapplied her hold and kept at it! If more kicks came, on the second or third, Katherine would find herself laid out and staring at the stadium lights. But for now, for as long as she could muster, the luchadora would maintain her hold and do all the damage she could in the hopes of earning a submission or forcing Alaina to fight on one foot!

Alaina was crying out in agony now and even with Kat laid out, she still held onto the amazons ankle! Alaina let out a howl as she tried pulling both legs in, attempting to roll to her side and reach up, using her desperation to add to her tremendous power and pry herself free of Kats hold! the depleted Alaina rolled away, gasping for breath and using the ropes to try to stand up. the hobbled Alaina was clearly hurting as she was barely able to put any pressure on that ankle.

As a result all she could do was hold herself up with the help of the ropes and recover instead of mounting any kind of offense against Kat. She had to try to pull off a counter coming up otherwise a hobbled Alaina would again be at Kats mercy in this match!

Katherine was able to really put the pressure on that ankle! Despite not usually being so stubborn, the luchadora could double down when she needed to. The commitment certainly paid off! Moments after escaping, it was evident to the audience that Alaina came out of the exchange far from unscathed. Like a racehorse that was past it's prime, she wasn't able to put much weight at all on that ankle! She was in prime position for Kat to pounce on her, only sadly, she couldn't.

The masked woman still laid on the canvas disoriented. Despite the payoff, that commitment did indeed come with risks. Taking a couple unblocked kicks to the mouth took it's tool, but Katherine wasn't done. She'd roll over and slowly work her way up. But by this time, Alaina was already assessing her own damage. Katherine would try to get to her feet and approach her heavyweight foe. If left uninterrupted, rather than go for the hurt ankle, she'd instead aim a Toe Kick at Alaina's abs! If the blow connected, the masked blonde would attempt to hook an arm around Sander's head for a Front Facelock! She'd try to pull the Amazon towards the center of the ring to set her up for a Snap Suplex!

Alaina saw Kat coming and had her arms up at the ready. The toe kick came in but Alaina was ready this time. She was hurting and hobbled, but she was able to catch the kick in her hands less than two inches from her abdomen! "Nice try Kat.... but this old lady still has it!" Alaina said as she let out a war cry, pulling Kat towards her and stepping forward with a big clothesline aimed at Kats jaw! She knew if she could stay up and send Kat crashing back down the impact would be felt doubly.

Alaina had an idea to end the match, knowing that Kat had never experienced an amabuster..... If Alaina could just daze her enough she knew she could win this with the completion of an amabuster. However, she had a bit of softening up to do to keep Kat down long enough to pull off such a move!

Katherine moved in to make her move. Her kick nearly struck true, but just mere inches from Alaina's abdomen, her boot was caught by her fellow veteran wrestler!

"Then show me!" Kat was quick to retort when Sanders alleged that was wasn't too old to throw down with the best of em. The luchadora would try to pull her leg back and ready herself, but before her foot could return to the ground, Alaina came at her with a stiff Clothesline! Kat had already been shaken up by the repeated kicks to the face. That Clothesline took her down convincingly, leaving theSuper Kitty sprawled out in the center of the caged ring.

Alaina had already been making plans to close things out, and rightfully so. She currently had command of this grueling match up. But despite looking worse for wear, Katherine wasn't done. She breathed heavily and looked up at the stadium lights in a daze. But even in this state, her eyes flashed with life. The Super Kitty wouldn't be defeated so easily!

Alaina still had work to do and she let out a war cry as she bent down, pulling Kat up by the hair and grabbing her around the waist, trying to rush her agains that corner, crushing her against the turnbuckle! Alaina would keep up her scream as she tried to pummel Kat into a daze using punches, elbows, kicks and knees against Kats torso as well as her face to try to punish Kat into a daze! Alaina was trying to overwhelm Kat with her raw power, strikes and ferocity as she attempted to get her ready for one hell of a finish!

Alaina wanted to daze Kat enough to position her for an amabuster, with the second brain buster part coming from the top rope! It would be tough to pull off as Alaina had never tried this before but she had a point to prove against Kat, a point she was desperate to prove!

Alaina's clothesline took some wind out of Kat's sails, but she wasn't fully spent. Despite being leveled, the luchadora raised her arms to try and contest when the Amazon pulled her from the ground. Alaina had unloaded with every strike she could muster! Katherine was doing well to block many of them, but they just kept coming, and each one forced her further and further back!

With grit teeth and a strained facial expression, Katherine would find herself doubled over and gasping in the corner of the ring. She was in prime position for Alaina to capitalize, and capitalize she did! Sanders began hoising Kat onto the top turnbuckle. This caused many on the announce team and production crew to raise their eyebrows. Alaina wasn't known to be one to go to the top rope. Within moments though, it became clear what she was going for. Kat seemed to figure it out before anyone else. She began kicking and flailing to try and jostle herself free and break Alaina's grip. But this was an unfortunate scenario in which The Super Kitty couldn't find the appropriate counter in time!

The crowd gasped as Alaina hit an avalanche version of her finisher: The Amabuster! Despite the ring being caged, it still shook! Katherine went down wordlessly in a heap! Her limbs were sprawled out! Her eyes shut! It seemed like this could really be it! An end to this heated, high profile, back and forth!

The muscle buster hurt enough on its own, but kept vertical to a big brain buster? that is what made the amabuster deadly.... adding in turnbuckle height to such a move? That was Alaina's desperation to prove herself to a tough opponent whom had her number the first couple times they bumped into each other upon Alaina's return to LAW. As the move landed Alaina crawled over and paid across Kats chest, hooking a leg as the referee slid into place!

"ONE!"

Alaina nodded with the count as the crowd echoed it, she kept hold of Kat, doing all she could to keep her pinned down to the mat!

"TWO!"

Alaina again nodded as the crowd echoed a second time. She just had to keep Kat down for one more second. Kat had put Alaina through he ringer in a short amount of time in this cage but Alaina knew she worked in some shots too, one of them being her finisher. No one had ever kicked out of this one and she just had to wait one more second to see if that streak would continue....

After hitting the Avalanche finish, Alaina didn't miss a beat. Neither did the referee. As Alaina crawled on top of the luchadora and hooked her leg, the official slid into place to begin the count!

With counts down, expectations were at an all-time high! Katherine didn't seem to show many signs of life! Her hand came up slowly! The audience just yelled out "TWO!" a fraction of a second after the ref! The luchadora seemed like she might hang on!

"THREE!" But that fraction of a second, the difference between hanging on and losing was all it took to seal the deal. The count wasn't too fast or two slow. Kat barely had her wits about her. A second after the three count was called, even with the sound of the bell going off, The Super Kitty rolled to her side out of instinct. She held her forehead with her head and began to slowly process things. Alaina would likely be celebrating a well-earned win. Kat was riding her momentum from finishing strong in the KO tournament and from having a formidable overall record. But tonight's match would show that LAW had another premiere heavyweight, another rising star destined for greatness, and her name was Alaina Sanders.

Without protesting outright, the luchadora would try to sit up. Alaina would likely be engaging in victory celebrations, and rightfully so. She earned it. Kat would look up at her and offer a slight smile. Losing sucked, but she didn't hate losing as much as she knew Alaina did. Hart saw it as a learning experience. She'd raise her hands to gesture to Alaina to help her up. If Sanders accepted, Kat would exhale deeply before hoisting Alaina's hand up high to both acknowledge her win and celebrate the match with her. The audience would roar with approval. And through their cheers, Kat would converse with her friend/rival.

"You got, girl! You haven't lost your luster! Not one bit." She said with a smile. She'd then resume her more competitive demeanor and try to arrange a rematch on the spot!

"But I'll tell you what, I'll watch Anna and Carl for a weekend, and you hook me up with a rematch. I lost, so I should be the one to do you a favor in exchange for another go-round. Whaddya say?"
