Sanae Saitou vs. Toshimi Minami - Submisson Match

Sanae had been riding high on her momentum. Throughout the whole match, she had held hope in her heart that, just maybe, she would be able to defy the odds and overcome Minami, fighting through whatever punishing submissions she had in store for her in pursuit of her goal - to prove she could conquer any challenge, and to cement herself as a worthy contender for the Openweight Championship. When she found herself holding her own against her foe, managing to push through unbelievable offense and maintain an even footing against the veteran, it only made Sanae feel all the more like she had a chance. She was doing it - and if it was possible for her to keep up with Minami, it also made it possible she could defeat her!

But for the first time in this match...when Minami locked her in the Venus di Milo, Sanae froze. A chill ran down her spine, and her eyes went wide in shock as her muscles grew rigid. This was it - Minami's finishing move. She was one of the top submission experts in the world, and out of all her holds, this was the one she was most versed in, and the one that had won her more matches than any other. And now, it was locked on her! It hurt, for sure. When Minami pulled back on her arms, twisting her back and stretching out her spine, Sanae could feel a burning sensation rippling through her, causing her to let out a shrill scream. But the pain wasn't the worst part - what was worst was how this move, more than any other, made her feel hopeless. For the first time...Sanae felt she might not make it.

When Minami planted her foot against the back of Sanae's head, she fell forward, planting her face into the mat and muffling her groans. But all the while, Sanae's heart was pounding, and she bit at her lip to try and still her nerves. She didn't want to tap - she knew that to do so would be to confirm all of Minami's suspicions. It would mean she really didn't have a chance of beating her after all. That this defeat was inevitable. It would mean all her progress was for naught. And yet, when the pressure on the idol's spine was growing worse by the minute, Sanae thought to herself that she might not have a choice...

But then, she remembered something. Throughout this match, Minami's technical expertise had helped her on the defense just as much as on the offense - she knew enough about the holds Sanae put her in to escape and turn them around. But Sanae could boast the same. She might not have been nearly as good as Minami, or even as Alizeh, but she too had studied the Venus di Milo in the leadup to this match, and she had used it to finish off Hikari! If she knew how to use it...she knew how to counter it. And never was that more relevant than it was right now!

It would be hard...but she knew she could do it, and she had to try! Sucking in a breath, Sanae bent lower against the ground, planting her knees and her forehead against the mat to brace herself. If she could secure that position, she would buck up hard with her back, trying to unseat Minami's balance on her. If she did that, she could take back just a little bit more of her self-control, without Minami weighing her down. And if she could bring herself to move, she would try and kick off the ground, to throw herself over in an arc - and hopefully knock Minami off in the process!

This match was all but over now. Everyone knew it. Minami knew it, the crowd knew it, those in the back knew it, and most importantly Sanae knew it. The moment she had locked in the Venus Di Milo it was like a death knell being rung throughout the arena and now everyone was just waiting on the inevitable that would be Sanae's eventual submissions, though Minami considered whether or not she should even bother releasing the hold... Once Sanae tapped. After all she did promise to end Sanae's career..

However Minami's musings would come to an end rather abruptly when she felt something going wrong. Sanae wasn't staying on her side, some thrashing was to be expected, but not to the level of what was happening right now. 'What is she...' Minami thought to herself as Sanae braced herself along the mat before suddenly a massive buck of Sanae's back came, not just shocking Minami but unseating her all together, forcing her off of the girl's back all together, even her grips on the girl's hands coming undone from the sudden and forceful pull from her place on the girl's body!

Left on her side not far from the newly freed Sanae the Venus of Submissions had an expression that could only be read as total and complete shock at what had just transpired and most of all.. "How?" Minami breathed out, disbelief carrying the word as she looked at Sanae, trying to find some plausible explanation. In moments however that look of shock would instead turn to fury, fury at Sanae for daring to enter this profession, fury at herself for not being able to keep the girl down, and most of all fury for this very moment that should have ended in Minami's victory.

"Why! Won't! You! Stay! Down!" Minami demanded, punctuating each word with a wild punch at the back of Sanae's head, the normally cool and composed Wrestle Angel veteran finally losing her patience and starting to get frustrated before grabbing Sanae and trying to lift her up to her feet, no doubt trying to prepare some other move to soften Sanae up for the Venus Di Milo again!

The match should have been over now. There was no way it could have gone any other way. There was no hope for Sanae. She was facing a renowned master of submission wrestling, and that master had locked her into quite possibly the most powerful and well-practiced hold in her arsenal - the best of the best. Sanae might have shown an admirable amount of fight in her, she might have been holding her own against Minami for far longer than anyone could have rightfully expected, but the moment Minami had her locked in the Venus di Milo, the crowd had gone silent. This was a foregone conclusion now. The only question that remained was how long Sanae was going to last before she was inevitably forced to tap...

...Except she didn't.

No matter what happened, no matter how impossible the odds might have been, Sanae simply wasn't going to take no for an answer! She was going to fight with everything she had, even when all seemed lost! And then, at last, it happened. Sanae bucked up into the air, rolling herself over - and knocking Minami off of her in the process!

As she rolled back onto her knees, Sanae needed to take a few short, shallow gasps for breath. Both from the exertion - the burning sensation in her arms and back from where Minami had wrenched at her joints wasn't about to die down any time soon - but also because, in this moment, she was just as surprised as Minami was. She didn't want to go down easily, but not even Sanae herself was convinced she could make it out of this predicament. This had been her last saving grace. And as it turned out..it was all she needed. As she caught her breath, the green-haired girl glanced down at her hands in bewilderment, looking this way and that. She had to convince herself that she really had done the impossible; that this wasn't all just a dream. Even the fans were silent for a few moments more...but when it dawned on them that Sanae had just done what they thought she'd done, they burst out into cheers!

However, Minami too realized what situation she had ended up in...and she wasn't happy! She quickly closed in on her foe, and before Sanae had the chance to adjust to what was happening, Minami swung a fist into the back of her head, knocking her face-first into the mat! She landed with a gasp and a thud, just before finding herself swept up in Minami's grasp, yanking her into the air! Suddenly finding herself hoisted higher, Sanae barely had any time to attend to the throbbing pain in the back of her head. Just then, she looked back at her opponent. Her eyes went wide, her face paled...and she knew, almost instinctively, what she needed to do. Minami was on the warpath. She was, no doubt, already getting geared up to return fire. The thought of it caused Sanae to suck in a gulp...but she also knew she had this moment to fight back. And then that thought came to her, it steeled her nerves, her eyes narrowing in defiance. If she had anything to say about it, she wouldn't let Minami claim the advantage here!

Snorting under her breath, Sanae suddenly lunged closer, trying to close the distance into short range! At the same time, she drew back her arm, prepared to fire off a chop across her opponent's chest! She couldn't lose sight of the goal now!

That was it. That should have been the end. Minami knew it. The ref knew it. The crowd knew it. Everyone in the back knew it. Hell even Sanae knew it judging by the look on her face when Minami had locked it in. Despite this though Minami found Sanae not tapping. That was fine at first for the woman, after all, a little bit of struggle would only add to the satisfaction that would come when the submission came. Only it never did. Despite holding the submission as long as possible and trying her damndest, Sanae wouldn't quit!

In fact she started fighting back! Thrashing and jerking around under Minami and refusing to give the woman even a moment of rest as the woman struggled on top, trying to hold Sanae down, all while asking one question internally. 'Where? Where is she drawing this resolve from?' Minam thought to herself in shock, unable to process this and struggling to grasp Sanae's control in this scenario, and it was driving her crazy.

Unfortunately for Minami it would only get worse from here when Sanae gave one titanic buck that finally dislodged Minami from the girl and sent her off her, leaving Minami to sit up with a look of shock on her face. One that was mirrored by even Sanae herself. Naturally after all given the girl's relative inexperience to Minami, but... but Minami was just in shock. Shockt that would turn into rage as the woman got, up glaring at Sanae, wanting nothing more than to put this upstar brat down once and for all.

Which would start a furious beatdown of punches to the back of Sanae's head! Partially to vent her frustration, but also to weaken Sanae so Minami could grab the girl and haul her to her feet, preparing a move to hopefully fully stun the girl. However before she could do anything Sanae suddenly darted in closer, firing a chop off into Minami's chest!

SMACK!!!!

Echoing throughout the arena Minami's eyes would widen and, under her leotard her chest would immediately turn red and vibrate in agony from the force of the chop! "Aghhh!" Minami yelled out in pain, turning from Sanae and wincing, trying to collect herself before turning and swinging her arm around to try and land a desperate blow on Sanae to force her back!

Sanae was drawing this resolve from somewhere. It was from the cheers of the fans, who celebrated every daring move she made and every time she reversed the momentum to bring herself back from the brink, knowing she was facing unbelievable odds but was committed all the same to pushing past them. She had always dreamed of one day becoming a star. Her wrestling career had propelled her from obscurity to the heights of her popularity, with her matches proving instant hits and her infectious energy endearing her to many a viewer. But never had Sanae felt more like a star than she did right now, listening to every voice in the crowd rise to a fever pitch at the sight of her standing up to the most fearsome foe she'd ever had to face! When Sanae heard how much the fans believed in her, she was all the more motivated to do right by them. She needed to give them the underdog victory they all held out hope they would see.

But more than that, Sanae wanted to do right by herself. She knew she was facing an uphill battle. She knew that Minami had engineered this situation specifically to put her in danger, and that she was facing off against an opponent that by all means she never should have been able to defeat. But she couldn't back down now, no matter how nervous she might have been. To give in now would be to confirm she never had it in her - that she was always hopeless. It would be letting Minami win, and it would be letting everyone down. As long as Sanae still had even an ounce of willpower in her, she had to fight on with everything she had!

Even then, though, the fact that she had managed to escape from Minami's finishing move sent a shock through Sanae's system - a shock that she needed a moment to adjust to, to remind herself that this was really happening. And that was time that Minami wasn't going to afford her! Before Sanae had the chance to catch her bearings, she was already back on her feet, with the back of her head throbbing from the repeated bludgeoning she'd taken. She winced, teetering groggily on her feet as Minami dragged her back up. But just as quickly, the adrenaline took hold of her. Sanae understood the consequences of failure. There was no time to think - only time to act. She could feel sore later! Shaking herself out, she swung a chop across the veteran's chest, and as she went reeling, she knew she'd bought herself some time. But she could do better than that.

Sanae stood taller, her body stiffening with focus and determination. She might have been sore, she might have still been dizzied...but now, she had to press the advantage further! Minami was already coming back at her, and she had to be ready! Belting out a battle cry, she swerved to the side, dodging Minami's blow with seconds to spare! The fans cheered on her comeback - and they cheered even harder as Sanae grabbed Minami by the head and kicked her legs out with another lunge, looking to take her down with a DDT!

Minami was gasping and groaning in pain from Sanae's chop, and she hated it. The fact that Sanae had the strength to hit Minami with such a sharp blow, and that it had such an effect on her, it made her feel humiliated all together. She needed to hit back, she had to show Sanae that she wasn't better than her, that she would never be better than her. Swinging back her arm wildly Minami aimed a desperate forearm strike at Sanae, determined to at least stun the girl in retaliation! But a desperate strike was just that, desperate and often easy to read. Something Sanae showed as she managed to dodge the strike, much to Minami's chagrin, but it would only get worse for her as she got pulled down to the mat with a ddt from Sanae! "Ugh!" Minami yelled in pain, immediately clutching her her skull in pain and kicking her legs on the mat, cringing and hissing in pain, stunned from the blow!

Sanae didn't even have to stop to think about what she needed to do. She was in the zone - every thought and impulse was fully devoted to furthering her momentum, and it came to her as naturally as breathing! She deftly moved out of the way of Minami's blow, her heart pounding faster and faster with every step she took to close in on the veteran. She could hear the crowd roaring in celebration of her efforts, and she knew that if she kept this up, she just might stand a chance of taking Toshimi Minami - the woman who never thought she would amount to anything; who was the very reason she was this committed to achieving success, and who had pushed her to shape herself into a contender for the Openweight Championship - down once and for all. When she had that opportunity in her sights, she couldn't let it go!

Sanae threw her arm around Minami's head, kicking off the ground with all the momentum of her lunge - and the Venus of Submissions was bowled off her feet by the force of her charge, sending her sprawling to the mat below! The crowd cheered even louder to see Sanae pulling off such a feat, but the green-haired girl didn't stop to take in their applause - she couldn't take her attention off Minami for a moment. The fact that she'd taken her down proved she could land a blow against her. And where that came from, Sanae could accomplish so much more.

Rolling back over on her knees, Sanae looked over at her foe, and immediately she knew what she had to do. When she had Minami in the banana split before, the humiliation she faced at having herself forced into such a compromising position had slowed her down - and it forced her to reveal more vulnerability than Sanae ever thought she would see from her. If she was going to take Minami down, it stood to reason that that was the way to do it! Her face grew serious and stern as she crawled closer. She knew her purpose, and she knew just how to realize it!

Minami would soon find that when she'd been in the banana split...she hadn't seen anything yet! Sanae would fall to her back, wrapping her arms around Minami's own to keep them in place - while her legs shot up in the air, wrenching Minami's out to the sides to spread them wide in the infamous shame hold!

Minami gasped and panted, cradling her head gingerly as she tried to curl up and wince in pain for a moment, blinking the stars out of her eyes after getting spiked on the mat with that ddt. Minami would groan softly as she tried to turn over, knowing that she was on the back foot against Sanae the veteran wrestler would try and push herself up, hair falling over her face, hiding the frustration and anger bubbling across her face from the trouble she had right now.

However that trouble would only grow as Sanae moved to further her advantage with a move that Minami had wanted to use on Sanae, that the green haired girl now knew would affect Minami much more. Feeling herself grabbed and pull down onto her head and shoulders Minami's eyes would wide, realizing too late what Sanae was doing, but having no chance at all to fight back as the girl's legs came up and hooked over her own, pulling them apart and locking her in the shame hold!

"Aghhhhhh no! no! no! NO! Let go!" Minami yelled out as an intense blush came over her face while her legs were stretched further and further apart, exposing her private area for all to see. Unable to hide her face with her arms while Sanae held them Minami would squint her eyes shut, shaking her head when asked if she wanted to submit, but otherwise she was trapped, forced to endure the shame and pain of the hold, any shaking she did only making things worse for her as all she could do was hope it ended sooner rather than later, totally at the mercy of Sanae.

With Minami's legs pried apart for the world to see, a cavalcade of cheers and wolf-whistles rained down from the stands, and a few camera flashes went off to try and capture the veteran in her most ignoble moment. A part of Sanae felt guilty putting Minami through such humiliation. This felt like the sort of thing her more merciless opponents would be trying to pull on her. But Sanae grit her teeth, shaking that thought out of her head. She wasn't going to stop now. If this was what it would take to win, she'd do it. She had sworn to show her full potential when it came to standing up to Minami, and she had promised she wouldn't hold back. Minami had picked this fight with her; she had dared her to show her what she was made of - and now, Sanae was delivering on that promise!

Hissing through her teeth, Sanae yanked harder at Minami's legs, stretching her tendons even further - and no doubt causing her groin to press even more firmly against the fabric of her leotard. But as much as Sanae's plan was working, it had never been her plan to finish Minami with this move. No, she had plenty more up her sleeve! All she wanted was to soften Minami up enough with the shame hold so that she would have no way of resisting her real finisher. And it was that finisher that Sanae was ready to spring right now!

Just then, Sanae bucked her hips up and kicked with her legs, going to shove Minami off of her. If she could do that, she wouldn't waste a moment before she scrambled back to her feet. Even when she had fought her way through a long and grueling match, it wasn't any trouble at all for her to spring back upright, as though she'd been taken by a second wind. When she had already brought Minami to the brink, her veins were coursing with adrenaline. It gave her hope that she just might be able to take Minami down after all, and that gave her the push to close in on the victory she saw on the horizon!

Signaling her intentions to bring this match to a close, Sanae threw one arm up in the air, letting out a cheer. Then, she reached down to take Minami's legs, hoping the veteran was still too dazed from the shame hold to resist. She would haul Minami over to the center of the ring, where she would step through her legs and wrap them around her own, bending at the knee. With that, she would turn to roll Minami onto her face, kneeling down to put even more force on her legs and back! It was unmistakable as the setup to the Sharpshooter. But more to the point, it was also the move Lyra Heartfield - who Sanae had just recently started dating - had perfected as the Orion Lock!

Minami was totally and utterly humiliated at Sanae's hands, unable to stop the shame hold the girl had locked her in, or the reaction of the fans and camera flashes that were going off as a result of her legs being spread open for all to see. She hated it, every single second, even her own attempts at struggling to escape only made the situation more erotic and caused things to exacerbate. Worse yet Sanae wasn't content with merely having the hold locked in against Minami, she was making it truly unbearable by stretching her legs out as far as possible, making the hold all but unbearable to deal with as the tendons in her legs were stretched to their limits!

Thankfully the submission would come to an end, with Minami being released from Sanae's clutches to fall onto the mat, her first instinct being to close her legs together and curl up in order to hide the area that had been so prominently displayed before. However Sanae wasn't done just yet. Far too distracted with the embarrassment and pain on her mind Minami would offer no resistance to Sanae as the girl immediately grabbed her legs and began wrapping them around her own, turning the veteran over onto her stomach for an all too familiar submission. One that made Minami's eyes widen immediately upon the pain surging through her system. "Aghhhhhh!!!" Minami bellowed out in agony, her legs twisted and torqued painfully as Minami grabbed her own hair in pain and flailed about, trying to find some recourse, her mind too frazzled and body too aching to think of a way out like she normally would when in such a hold.

"Nghhh! Agh!" Wailing in pain Minami would try the only course of action that she was physically capable of at the moment as she began to make the slow, agonizing crawl towards the ropes. 'So humiliating... to be... forced to this... but its... my only hope!' Minami thought to herself, face flushed and contorted in agony as she tried to stretch her arm out to hopefully grab onto the bottom rope and force a release from Sanae!
