Speranza thought she had it. It was so close. She was going to win. It now dashes. That was very close to a win. She was upset by that. He let out a big huff.
She has to get up, though. Keria is probably about to do something. She doubts that she would be doing something right now. She did give her a beating.
Just then she felt it. A grab. For her head. Keria grabs her and locks her into a dragon sleeper hold. Speranza was mad at herself for beginning late to react. She underestimates her.

"Gotcha!"
Ignoring the pain in her shoulders and back, Keira wrenched down, doing her best to cinch in the hold. She was tiring quickly; those powerbombs had taken a toll on her body. But she wasn't about to just let go, either.
"You can tap any time, you know," she taunted. "Or would you rather I throw you back to the wolves? I'm sure a certain chick in a hoodie would *love to finish you for me."
That would be rather poetic indeed, but if Keira could handle it here and now on her own, she was damn well going to try!

Speranza sees that she really likes that lady. Well, why wouldn't you? She has been helping a lot. She hopes she will stop doing that, but that's not going to happen.
She is fighting back against giving up. She doesn't want to tap too. A submission like this. She's going to fight back. She hopes it works out.
Speranza starts to go and try to elbow Keria. She may be battered, but she still has her fighting spirit. If she wants to give her that hug, it's her fault.

Slowly but surely, Keira's hold was weakening. Her teasing grin was slipping, and the realization that Speranza was not going to submit began to sink in. Still, Keira wasn't going to just let her go, not without a backup plan...
...or some other incentive. Which, in this case, Speranza was able to provide in the form of her elbow, repeatedly crashing into her. "Struck a nerve, did I?" Keira knew from the first blow that she was going to have to stop, but pride made her endure another couple of hits before finally releasing the hold, making sure to create some space between them so as to not fall victim to retaliation.
"So, I guess you're going to make me ask... You clearly don't like her." She jerked a thumb over her shoulder, in the direction of the chick in the hoodie. "Who is she to you? Speak up and maybe I'll finish you myself rather than throwing you over the ropes to let her play with you instead."

Speranza went to slowly get up from the fall. Well, fully get up from the move. She went to look at her. "It's her way of saying hello. That's about it." She is not telling her. It's none of her business. It actually is, but she is not going to tell her. She can ask the source if she really wants to know. It's a private thing to Speranza, really.
"Go ask her yourself if you're curious. Not now, though. She won't tell you." Speranza responded. Maybe that will make her stop asking. She hopes so. It would be embarrassing if it was publicity. She hopes the fans will settle down with that question as well. She is wearing a hoodie, so she is being kind about it that way...unless she has to.
Speranza goes for a roundhouse kick; however, she misses on purpose. Only to follow up with a roundhouse again with the same foot, but she does a leaping motion to try and kick Keria in the face. She hopes this caught her off guard. If it does, great; if not, it's not going to be good.

At the response given to her question, Keira raised an eyebrow. She hadn't really expected Speranza to give a direct answer, but she was rather surprised at the suggestion to go ask herself. She shrugged in reply.
"Maybe I will, then."
Of course, not now, though; she still had a match to win, and Speranza made it clear she wasn't going to speak up. Nothing for it now but to re-focus.
Keira saw an attack coming from a mile away. That was the point of creating space between them; it made incoming attacks obvious. Almost too obvious... but that was kind of by design. Regardless, Keira ducked underneath the kick effortlessly. As she straightened her body, Keira made to lunge with her own counter-attack - but Speranza didn't stop spinning. Her momentum carried her quickly around again, and this time Keira wasn't prepared for the follow-up. A foot landed squarely on her cheek, sending a shooting pain into her skull where her jaw cracked from the impact.
The blow also had the effect of knocking Keira off balance. Her body twisted around, legs getting tangled with each other as she went flying sideways. She handed hard on the mat, her arm taking the brunt of that impact and cushioning her fall somewhat, at the cost of leaving a stinging pain there, too. But even so, it was nothing compared to the pain in her cheek, which her hand had come up to massage and soothe it away.
But though she was not out, she was very much down, and quite vulnerable.

Speranza messed up Keroa pretty good. She wants to end this before she gets any ideas and so she can rub it in THE mysterious lady's face. Ya that she she gonna do. Gonna go for the pinfall. She goes to go for the pinfall.

Why did she come into the match? She knows how she gets, but really? Maybe management has something to do about it. She was getting a lot of money after all. Maybe she gave them a nice payday. That's probably it.

The heavy kick to the face sent Keira reeling. Her mind was jumbled, brain scrambled from the blow, her only reactions being involuntary, including the hand tending to the sting in her cheek.
But the moment her position was shifted, something came back into focus. Not clarity, but enough of the fog lifted to recognize that she was in danger. That wrestler's "sixth sense", perhaps. And that was the referee's hand slapping the mat beside her, if not the pressure of Speranza's weight pushing her down.

Keira remained motionless. Not because she was frozen, but because every brief second of recovery time was as valuable as gold. With that said, she had little of it. She blinked, trying to focus her head, breathing deeply to center herself.
2!
Shit. That went by real fast. Keira took another deep breath - as deep as she could while also being hasty about it - and jolted her body upwards, shooting her arm into the air to break the count. It didn't help get her moving, but at least she was still in the fight.

Speranza got up. She went to hold her head with her hands a bit. She doubted Keria would be able to get up all of a sudden. "Damn it." She spoke softly. Speranza went to go get up fully. It was so close. Just so close. She backs up...she's going to nail her again.
Speranza would turn around and look at Keria. She would bend her knees and stare at her. She has a plan to knock her back down hard. She's going to give her the superkick pin combo to finish her off. She seems weak too. How can she fight back?
She could get lucky, but Speranza isn't convinced. She thinks she has her dazed and confused. She doesn't have the strength nor dexterity to fight back. She's seen plenty of L.A.W. acts like she does and lose. Surely this is the end for her, she thought.

Despite the sudden beating and pin attempt, Keira was still in the fight. Speranza backed off after the failed pin - Keira was more than happy to let her go for the time being, just for the extra time to regain her bearings. Whether she was planning a follow-up attack, though, was something she'd have to deal with when and if that happened.
And when she attempted to sit herself up, that attack came. Speranza charged at her, foot flying through the air with some kind of kick. Whether it was subconscious instinct or a knee-jerk reaction, Keira's response was to fall backwards onto her back again in the hopes of being fast enough to duck underneath the kick and roll her way to safety before standing up again, where she could begin considering her own counter-attack.
But that was all dependent on whether or not she'd recovered enough, and was quick enough to avoid the incoming foot or not.
