Ami had just barely managed to escape defeat by countout, her chest heaving up and down after rolling herself back inside by a hair's breadth, narrowly making it through by the absolute slimmest of margins. She huffed and puffed, trying her best to collect herself and recover, but a focused Lauren was already prepared to descend upon her yet again, eager to cut straight to the chase and put the young rookie away for good instead of breaking her down further. It didn't feel much like a mercy finish, rather just Lauren being pragmatic and straightforward. The crowd booed at the blonde as she brought her brunette foe up into the air and squashed her down with a Backbreaker, eliciting a pained yelp from the rookie's lips as she shook and twitched, wailing aloud in pain. However, Lauren wasn't finished with her yet, deciding to toss her across the ring with a Fallaway Slam, throwing Ami like a sack of potatoes and sending her crashing into the canvas, out of breath and wasted as she slumped down in a puddle of sweat, left wheezing and groaning beneath Lauren as the blonde attempted to cover her for the win
"1...!!!"
"2...!!!"
"3...!!!"

The bell rang and Lauren won, she almost couldn't believe it. She staggered up and held her hands high as she began walking around the ring. All too often lately Lauren had put in the work to get better, to be more than her opponents expected only to fall short time and time again. This? This was something she hoped to get used to, standing tall after the final bell. She did a small lap around the ring as the fans cheered, clearly a bit surprised at the outcome. Lauren took it all in, she didn't care that the cheers weren't super loud and were somewhat in shock. She was just happy that they were for her.

Ami lay there, crushed and defeated, feeling humiliated beyond belief as she couldn't match Lauren's power. In a fight that many believed to be a surefire win for the young up-and-coming starlet, Lauren proved to be too much for the Prima Donna to handle. Meanwhile, her opponent was getting showered with a few cheers here and there, but there were some boos from those in the crowd who felt Lauren went too rough on the rookie, decimating her with some really powerful slams and then taking a victory lap as Ami struggled to pick herself back up...feeling dejected and aimless, the world still spinning around her in a blur as her body ached all over.

Lauren was standing tall and celebrating when she saw Ami. Lauren had been laid out at the end of matches enough to know that feeling and knew the look on Ami's face. Lauren made her way over to Ami and offered to help her up. "Listen, I know how it feels to be the one not he mat when that bell rings. You are young. You can bounce back from this. They will put you in matches and you can show them how much you got better. You have the look they like and youth. You will get plenty more chances." Lauren said as she hoped Ami would let her help her up.

Ami felt incredibly sore, but what felt even worse was her heart...a loss that came as a direct result of her arrogance, a single naive rookie mistake leading to her suffering an easily avoidable defeat. She felt embarrassed, not because she lost to Lauren, but because she got in her own way. After being helped up by the woman, she brushed herself off and bowed respectfully, feeling a little dejected at first before pulling herself together, trying to focus on Lauren's words of encouragement.
"I...appreciate it. Next time, I'll do even better!" She said, thanking Lauren for the words and the match, vowing to herself that if they ever faced off again, she wouldn't repeat the same mistake as before. With that, she left Lauren in the ring to soak up the cheers from the crowd while making her way backstage, trying hard not to let this loss get to her...but it was proving far more challenging than she expected.
Still, the brunette had to carry on. This is the life she wanted for herself, and with it, she'd have to accept all that came with it. The highs...and the lows, even the crushing ones.
Winner via Pinfall: Lauren Fredericks

Dear Diary~...
Well...things didn't turn out how I wanted them to tonight.
I can't believe I screwed up so badly-...I can't believe I did something so STUPID. I'm not even mad at Lauren, I'm just...mad at myself, you know? I shouldn't make these kinds of mistakes. I shouldn't have tried to go for something so flashy. I paid for it with a crushing loss, and now all I'm left with is a sore body and a battered ego. This sucks, Diary. It really sucks. I'm not gonna up and quit just like that, but-...I'd be lying if I said I wasn't feeling a little down right now.
Tomorrow's a new day...and with a new day comes a new start. So after I get some rest, it's back to the gym...and the next time I fight Lauren...and there WILL be a next time, I'm going to show her that I'm not some perky fangirl or a brainless rookie. I'll prove to her and myself that I COULD have won this match. So mark my words, Diary...the next time you see the Prima Donna Darling in action, she'll be better than ever!!! So until then-
XOXO, Yours forever~, Ami Anderson...The Prima Donna Darling
