Temporarily ignoring Yoko's question Sheena would hiss softly after taking a hard punch to the gut by the red head. Sheena wasn't one to back down however and leapt up, pushing her leg out as she did so to drive a kick right into Yoko's stomach in return! A blow that forced the two to back up from each other causing both women to collapse on the mat, each groaning in pain and left to try and pick themselves up, but Sheena knew that Yoko would want an answer, and Sheena wasn't looking to blue ball the red head.

"Hnghhhh hagh... well... Kyoko always talks so highly of you.. how tough you are and how your punches are some of the strongest around... But I knew just from her asking you to join her group that you must be great.." Sheena explained as she managed to push herself up, wincing a bit as she held her stomach. "Especially the punches, if anything the words don't do them justice." Sheena said with a soft smile as she moved to start circling Yoko.

Sheena did not attack... Yoko was prepared to leap into a tackle if Sheena charged at her, but she didn't. Instead, Sheena actually proceeded to answer Yoko's previous answer and seemed to be pretty serious about, but Yoko had a hard time believing her and so she started chuckling, letting out a cough in-between before it turned into a laughter.
Hhah haha hahaha!

Yoko genuinely could not believe it. She had interacted with Kyoko quite a few times to say the least, Kyoko would never mention or hint to something like that. Yeah, Sheena was trying to...
You don't need to butter me up, Sheena, hahah... Really. Ahem! Technically, I'm more like a co-founder of the team. It was a match stipulation, if I remember correctly... But she cares about it more than I do, so she deserves to be the leader.

Yoko straightened herself up and proceeded to circle around with Sheena, fists raised. That was the solar plexus, Sheena. Just above the abs.
Yoko would explain, brushing the area on her own midriff using her finger. Gonna feel that even if you have great abs.

If Sheena did not attack first, then Yoko would start the round off with a swift low right kick, aimed for the side of Sheena's knee, before stepping forward and throwing another left straight aimed for Akan's solar plexus again, as if to drive the point in.

Yoko seemed eager to know the rest of what Sheena had to say and so the purple haired girl went ahead and answered, partially just to have a little lull in their spar. But needless to say she didn't expect the red head to start bursting out laughing at the answer and assume that Sheena was just trying to flatter her or something.

"Oh I see, well fair, but still Kyoko wouldn't keep you on the team if she didn't believe in your abilities, and she has praised your skill before whenever I ask about you, honest." Sheena said in earnest confusion, but before long it seemed the spar was back on with Yoko putting her fists up with Sheena doing the same and began circling.

Whether Yoko believed her or not, all that mattered was that she continued to do her best. Nodding silently at Yoko's words Sheena made a mental note to aim slightly lower next time. Speaking of Yoko started things off with a kick, prompting Sheena to raise her leg up so that Yoko's leg made contact with her shin as opposed to her knee.

Still an impact, but nowhere near as bad as if her knee was struck. However Yoko wasn't down as she pushed her fist out as well. Narrowing her eyes Sheena decided to take a page out of her girlfriend's playbook as she lifted the leg she just used to block even higher, pivoting on the ball of her heel to swing it up and parry Yoko's fist. If successful in this than Sheena would swivel her hips while pushing her leg down, aiming to put Yoko's advice into practice by targeting a kick for Yoko's gut!

''Or maybe..?'' Yoko thought to herself, seeing Sheena this adamant about it. Yoko always had a feeling that Kyoko was hiding her ''better self'' so to speak behind a thick layer of... Well, Kyoko. If by some chance that was true, then it would make things pretty interesting keeping that in mind. Although there was no hope in hoping that Kyoko would admit this to Yoko's face...

Back to the fighting, Yoko went in with some of her more regular moves, but Sheena blocked in a pretty irregular way. Blocking the kick may have been standard, but using the same motion to block the followup attack with the same leg, catching the fist with her foot? Well that certainly was uncommon to say the least. Yoko's eyes went wide at that moment as her fist and Sheena's foot were in an anime power struggle.
What? Ghugh! But then as a further continuation of the same motion with the same leg, Sheena had her foot slip slightly through the side, thrusting into Yoko's own solar plexus. ''they grow up so fast.'' Yoko thought jokingly to herself as she felt the pain spread across her body. She was pushed back and couldn't just grab onto the leg. She tried to at the moment, but her body didn't follow through.

Oghh... Yoko grunted out again. Oh.. Hohh heh... That... Was a strange move. Yoko would comment, holding onto her aching area with her left hand while her right arm is ready to punch just in case.

Sheena was focused right now, determined to show Yoko what she was capable of to the woman who worked so closely with her cousin. Thankfully she did a solid job of this with her sudden counter of Yoko's strikes, parrying them with her leg and swinging it forward into her opponent's solar plexus all in one, swift motion that pushed the red head back as she did so.

Smiling at Yoko's words Sheena would offer a nod to the woman. "Learned it from my girlfriend." Sheena said with a small nod towards Yoko before darting forward, trying to duck past her and hopefully get around behind the red head, hoping to slip a leg over Yoko's own while bending the woman to the side, trying to lock in an abdominal stretch on her!

Ugh... Your girlfriend must be fun then...
Just as Yoko finished her little joke, Sheena was already darting at her. Yoko's left hand still holding onto her stomach, she sent a hasty right hook towards Sheena's face, who ducked down and quickly moved around her, snaking her limbs around Yoko's as well as the neck, locking her in an abdominal stretch.

NNghh! Yoko grunted as she felt her body being forced in the direction it didn't want to go. It made Yoko feel the familiar helplessness that she felt against Kyoko before. She's coming at me pretty hard, huh? Yoko thought to herself, hanging in there, gritting her teeth through the pain.
Ghhnk... Did you learn this.. NNck! From your girlfriend as well? Nngh heh.

Yoko had never done this before and wasn't sure whether that even was a move. But if so, she'd be the first to try. Yoko prepare all of her body for one sudden movement towards one direction - She'd suddenly attempt to turn with all of her body, trying to turn this into a shoulder toss, but she'd moving and tossing herself along with it as one of their legs are locked with each other. She didn't need to worry about holding onto her opponent, since the opponent was doing it for her. The only issue and question was whether Yoko could produce enough force with the move from her disadvantageous position to have Sheena's body tossed ''over shoulder'' so to say.

Sheena smiled softly as she heard Yoko's joking response to her, even as she darted in, moving to get behind her and lock her in a quick, abdominal stretch! Smirking softly as she pulled on Yoko's body to really stretch out her abdominal. "Hehe she is but I'm afraid this one I learned from Kyoko." Sheena said and, feeling a little extra bold added on an additional little slap to the woman's but!

Unfortunately however Yoko was nothing if not resourceful. 'What's she.. whoa!' Sheena thought to herself, her eyes widening as she was suddenly lifted off her feet and slammed down into the mat with a make shift shoulder toss! "Ugh!" Sheena cried out in pain, laying on the mat with a dazed expression following the successful toss!

Well, no wonder Sheena would learn an ABdominal stretch from Kyoko. Yoko was maybe surprised for a single second before she was like ''that makes sense''.
Of course, Yoko wasn't here for a quiz, she was interested in getting out of this hold and after a couple of moments of figuring out how she should move her body for this, let's say, original move.
But not before Sheena slapped Yoko on the butt. Oh! You little rascal!

That was when Yoko went in with her turning-tossing motion. Thankfully, Yoko was able to produce enough force for the move to actually err... Move her opponent.
Yoko swung her body and Sheena followed suit, but in a wider arc, Yoko then landed back first on top of Sheena's front with a thud.
I learned this one from myself, just now. Yoko would say with a little smile on her face before untangling herself from her opponent and then turning around to face her.
Upon seeing Sheena's dazed expression, Yoko would ball her right hand into a fist, wind it back before forcefully thrusting it into Sheena's stomach, trying to drill it as deep as she could. Upon reaching the deepest point, Yoko would retract her fist and move her body on top of Sheena's. Her hands would move to secure Sheena's wrists above her head. Yoko would also intertwine her legs with Sheena's and spread them apart a bit.
Yoko's plan and hope was that Sheena would struggle and resist against it, wasting her stamina in doing so.

Sheena groaned softly as she laid underneath Yoko in the wake of that hip toss, maybe it was karma for the butt slap? Whatever the case Yoko would soon be standing up, yet still hovering over Sheena's form making her wonder what the red head was doing.... All before coming crashing down fist first into Sheena's stomach! "GUAHHHH!!!" Sheena screamed out before getting cut off as she ran out of hair and as Yoko removed her fist she would flop back down to the mat, eyes half lidded and seemingly out of it.

Allowing her opponent the perfect opportunity to plop down on top of her, entangling their legs and stretching her limbs out in a grapevine while her hands were pinned above her head. Instinctively Sheena would try and resist, pushing and twisting against Yoko, but her movements were not particularly sharp or forceful. A big factor in that being the massive gut punch that took a ton of fight from Sheena.

Now that Yoko had settled in the grapevine, she could enjoy the feeling of her body pressing down on top of Sheena's.
As expected, Sheena was struggling against, but given their positions, all she achieved was waste her energy as Yoko kept their limbs tightly entangled.

Yoko would then start to slowly but forcefully spread their legs further and further apart. Hot breaths were being exchanged into each other's faces as the two women continued to struggle silently, muscles all over their bodies and limbs bulging against each other's, maybe an unintentional show of power and dominance.
