There are matches that you can lose and at the same time there are matches that you have to win. It was one of those matches for Margarita. Even when she fell to her knees, she tried to force herself to do something, but the former actress did not even have the strength to just raise her hands. Her stamina reserves were completely depleted.

When the Sea Star's rival wrapped her arm around her neck, the Danish girl gritted her teeth. More than anything she wanted to push Lucy away from her, land another blow, and win the match. But the reality turned out to be much more severe. The other pink-haired girl lifted Margarita into the air, turning her upside down, and then slammed the Sea Star into the mat, using both gravity and her own weight.

“GGGMMHH!!!”

A strangled groan of agony was the last sound that Margarita made. A jolt of pain passed through her body, after which she almost lost consciousness. The image in front of her eyes turned into a blur, while the sounds around her were muffled. She felt that Lucy hooked her leg and she knew what would happen next.…

“ONE!”

Due to the fact that she was on the verge of losing consciousness, she did not even hear if anyone was supporting her at that moment in the arena. Were there those who desperately urged the Sea Star to find the strength to lift her shoulder off the mat? However, even if there really were those who still had faith in her, it didn't matter because the former actress, born to give smiles, couldn't even move her fingers at that moment.

“TWO!!”

"TWO!"

Lucy would press her body against Margarita as tightly as she could, to make sure that, even if she was still awake, there was no chance for her fellow pinkette to kickout, no matter how much drive was still left in her body.

The last second of the count, as usual, felt like the longest possible moment of time. This was why wrestlers got upset at the refs for nearfalls. Because of how long the brain made the final second of that count feel, it legitimately always felt like the ref was screwing you...

...but even though Lucy had to wait what felt like an eternity, the ref's hand would finally come down:

"THREE! RING IT!"

DING DING DING!

Lucy, having held her breath for the last 10 seconds, exhaled, pushing herself off Margarita as she gave her rival a pat on the head, half mocking...with a hint of genuine appreciation for her fellow pinkette and the match.

Still, Lucy would focus on celebrating her victory over the Sea Star, rather than check on her rival in anyway:

"YEAAAH! I'M THE BEST!!!" she would scream, letting her hand to be raised by the ref, before swiftly hopping to the outside, grabbing her phone (that a backstage hand grabbed and put away to make sure it doesn't get damaged), to turn on the selfie cam, swiftly recording a quick video for social media, screaming: "THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE!" making sure to include the defeated Margarita in the shot...

When she heard the bell ringing, the only thing she wanted to do was cry. If there was a match that Margarita had no right to lose, then it wat exactly this match. The former actress was disgusted when Lucy patted her on the head, after which she found the strength to open her eyes only to see her rival celebrating the victory.

The pain much stronger than the physical one pierced the Sea Star's heart. She didn't have the strength to defeat this vile girl who started the match by cheating. Margarita couldn't even remember the last time she had been so hurt by such a big injustice. This girl's very victory is wrong.

Barely holding back tears, the Danish girl rolled out of the ring at the same moment when her opponent started filming what was happening on her phone. Despite the pain in her muscles, she just wanted to run away from there, so as not to see all the stares of the audience directed at her. But Margarita couldn't afford it, she lost in the ring, but she shouldn't lose outside it.

Clenching her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her skin, she headed up the ramp, trying not to look around. A heavy stone continued to grow in her heart, making it difficult for her to breathe. She let the audience down, she let Victoria down, she let herself down. She knew she had to say one thing before she left, but she just didn't feel like she had the strength to do it. However, the Sea Star stopped at the top of the ramp. She stood absolutely still for a few seconds, but then she gathered her strength and raised her right fist above her head.

“I'll be back stronger!” She made a promise to everyone here, including the audience, her opponent and herself.

It hurt like hell, but the former actress had taught herself since childhood to make this promise after every failure, in a way it gave her the strength to move on even after such sad episodes as this one. Margarita disappeared behind the curtains, and only then tears flowed down the cheeks of the pink-haired girl.
